    thanks dude , i need to know how to secure the binos around my neck because im on a kayak, thanks for showing the harness which is what i gotta see and i need to mount a cord to the binos so they dont go to bottom of lake, there is a lanyard right ?

      No lanyard. I use a strap from an older pair of binoculars (a camera strap will work too). The eyecups have a slot to feed your strap through so as to secure it.

    Hi ,how do you like them so far, I m not sure if to buy them or vortex diamondback hd

    • @commonsense5709
      @commonsense5709 Год назад +2

      Worth the extra cost $199 BX2 vs $159 Vortex OPMOD Diamondback HD or cheaper with Optics Planet discount.
      Image quality is noticeably brighter and clearer with the Leupold BX2.
      Vortex is much lighter weight and have an idiot proof no questions asked VIP lifetime warranty if you're accident prone or abuse your gear.
      Leupold also has a lifetime warranty but they don't cover damages due to customer abuse.
      Leupold is overall better quality and more reliable compared to Vortex that are mostly cheaply made with insanely huge marked upped prices.

      Leupold will just about cover any issues with your binos. They just don't advertise it that way but 99% of the time if you have issues with your binos thryre going to replace them

    How much more of an upgrade is the box-2 vs bx-1?

      I have the BX-1 12x50 and have been pretty much disappointed in it for a $230 priced Made in CHINA binoculars since day 1. it's falling apart and doesn't seem as though the focus can actually go to infinity it stopped at around 1000 yards at it's focus wheel is already maxed out. The right side eyepiece adjustment is also maxed out all the way to one side and still not perfectly clear on the right side either. It's effectively a good expensive monocular. The focus knob cover came off right after the round center label fell off. Overall construction of the binoculars itself seem robust with some heft to it though and image quality is quite decent for an entry level Leupold. Unfortunately cheaper binoculars sold by other brands are clearer. The $120 IBQ 12x50 as well as the $69 (under $35 currently on sale for 50% off) Desoo 12x50 for example sold on Amazon are both clearer than the Leupold BX-1. Leupold has the better warranty though.

      I bought a lot of binoculars to try out and the best cheap binoculars to buy are the ScoopX 10x42 UHD binoculars for around $60 or less sold on eBay and Amazon sells them fir $249 but why would you pay $249 when you can buy them fir $60 or less on eBay? It's actually comparable to $1000 binoculars. I know because I also own $1000+ Binoculars from Kowa (Genesis Prominar XD fluorite) and Leupold (BX5 Santiam) and the ScoopX is surprisingly close. No other cheap generic brand of binoculars can touch this one. I pretty much tried then all already. Only negative is the lack of any warranty support but can't complain for $60 buy couple and be your own warranty. It's better than the $499 Athlon Cronus UHD Gen 2 as well regarding image quality and wider Field Of View and lighter weight. The ScoopX is a decent and competitive alternative to the Zeiss Conquest HD and Vortex Razor HD for only $60. You all can thank me later for this.
