Keep in mind, Bruce stated from the very beginning that he was always angry. And with all the shit that he went through during the entire MCU timeline. He has VERY little reasons to keep his emotions in check. So if he can keep a lid on it better than Jen, what's Jen's excuse?

Dude people also forgot the fact Bruce had been physically and emotionally abused by his father for years, belittle and bullied by jealous schoolmates because he's a nerd, got attacked and almost used by the government for existing, would've gotten betrayed by a scientist he trusted if his 2nd movie got a sequel, and is treated as a monster by the world until they need him to save them everytime and if he says no he'll be called monster and heartless.

The whole point of her saying that is that she's overconfident in her own abilities, which will get tested and prove that Bruce's right. A lot of people I think are missing that because they're so busy wanting to be angry about Men vs Women, feminism and all that.
I think people have jumped the gun as it was only the first episode, but we'll see where it goes. Its a pretty standard trope so we'll see if it plays out the same

I have a theory and I haven't seen anyone else point it out. When Bruce saw that she had control he asked why she didn't have a second personality.
If you know Bruce's origin you'd know the only reason he loses control when transforming into the Hulk is because of his trauma and pain. He developed a second personality who is better and stronger at handling the abuse he recieved from his father.
So in reality the only reason Jen is able to control herself when turning into She-Hulk is because she hasn't gone through even half the anger and pain Bruce has.
So TLDR, cat calling and mansplaining isn't bad enough to equal a second personality. 🤦🏾♂️

This the exact argument I’m having with someone else on another video. It doesn’t help that for some reason they believe Jen can handle her anger better because she went through less traumatic stuff but also say the traumatic stuff she’s been through is another reason she can handle her emotions better because that’s what she said. Like just because a character says, “I can do this because I’ve dealt with this” does NOT mean they can actually deal with it, or even that they actually went through why they said they did. It’s literally not enough information about Jen for people to just boldly believe every word she says without thinking “maybe she doesn’t really know, maybe she’s bluffing, maybe she’s not as knowledgeable about this as the guy who’s been a hulk for over a decade, maybe she believes she can do it but actually can’t.” Like this is like believing Tony could never sacrifice himself because you watched the scene where Steve said he couldn’t, sometimes characters are fucking wrong.
