Besides working with a coach, you described exactly what I've been doing for seven months now. My plan after turning 49 was to be in shape by 50. I wasn't a total mess, I just had some extra weight and little muscle left from my younger years. It's been a great success so far. I'm resistance training three on and one off with some cardio sprinkled in. I've lost about 15 pounds and have strength that I haven't had in 20 years. I feel great, my aches and pains have mostly gone away. I don't get winded going up stairs, and I can nearly bench press my body weight. What's not to like? Your channel and a couple others have been a big part of this, so much appreciated!

Brother did you do a video on how to build up bicep and shoulders size and strength, for those tearing the short head bicep tendon, and electing not to have surgery?

Not sure if it was Peter Attia, some high knowledge doctor anyway, who said that you dont start to lose muscle unless you stop eating protein for a week or two. The thing was about fasting and if you fast more than a week (or two) you start to lose muscle.... hmmm, could be David Sinclair who talked about this... anyway, no one is going to lose muscle by eating too little since very few of us can be without any food a week (or two). ..... of course you cant exercise intensively and fast a week, or if you can you are not a human. The muscles you have or what you have built are not going away easily unless you stop resistant training, then some of them go away since you dont need them anymore and body gets rid of some of them.
Other things like low T or HGH is going to shrink your muscles. If you cant get your T high enough ---> TRT.

Good carbs would be low glycemic carbs, I understood white rice does not fit this category. Am I wrong?

I fast frequently. I HAVE to get my protein in 2 meals a day, sometimes one. I shoot for 185 grams. Full body resistance training 2 times a week. Any pointers for those who fast for weight loss and getting your protein?

Not sure it was worth it. I lost 45 lbs last year but it came at great expense to my spine. I just turned 54. Can't hardly do any exercises anymore.
