    I think my word for 2021 is "sanctuary". I want my home to be my sanctuary from the chaos of the outside world (especially this past year) which includes getting it more decluttered, organized, and keeping it clean. I want to be a sanctuary for my husband and kids, that safe space where they can come when they need help. In the more classical sense, I also want to invite God to take a more central place in my heart again (we may have grown up in church together, but I've lost my way a bit).

    Last year, for the first time we only took our tree apart in three sections and took it to our storage where we assembled it back together stood it in the corner and wrapped it with two old fitted sheets. This kept it clean and when we brought it back home this year it was a cinch to set up with little to no fluffing necessary! Best idea we have had with regard to the tree in years!

    • @NoreensKitchenOfficial
      @NoreensKitchenOfficial 4 года назад +5

      @@larabellg8425 Absolutely! We both were like "how long did it take us to figure this out?" Total game changer! We also have a small furniture dolly that we plan to put it on because it will be even easier to move around if it gets in the way. Literally just takes up a small corner of or storage locker and it is not even noticeable during the year. Those bags, in my opinion are generally very shoddy for how expensive they are and I cannot tell you how many different "tree bins" we have purchased over the years that we had to drill a hole in the side so the long pole would fit inside. No more!

    My favorite method of storing my Christmas Tree is in the very bag you used for your Christmas Tree. Very convenient no hassle. I bought mine at Big Lots on sale for $9. Catherine I just want to say Thank you so much for always being here on You Tube and sharing your “Do it on a Dime” tips and ideas. You are truly a blessing to all of your subscribers (me being one of them) and viewers. Looking forward to more of your cleaning, organizing, meal ideas (hopefully with your handsome boys, LOVE THEM!! ❤️❤️!!, and sharing your uplifting and motivational moments. Love you Sis! 👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️.

      But, if we think of it they are real words. Words you choose should bring Joy and Ketchup bring lots of Joy to any food and its beautiful color does make most thing abit more Festive. You just need to listen with more senses, sit and meditate "Ketchup " and conect with your inner child. Carefree, Joy, Sillyness, Laughter, Contentment, Satisfaction, Pleasure, and Gratification. 😍 WoW Ketchup 🤤

    Love all of your words! Freedom, commitment, focus and ketchup! I see comments on ketchup so I want to share that I often write "focus" at the top of my to do list. It helps remind me to stay on task! Good word choice!
    This year, for the first time, I packed Christmas up with simplicity in mind. Each container holds the decor from one area. The mantle garland came down with lights, ornaments and extension cord attached! I packed it up that way. I also did not crush my tree into the box it came in, I put it in a large roomy box.
    I like your bag storage idea! Gotta try that for next year!
    Thank you for your many creative tips!
