I got here from Soul Eater. Knowing about Touhou and the want for it to be an official anime makes me feel better for some reason. I guess RUclips thought Touhou was a lot like Soul Eater.
This is so impressive. I love the artstyle too, it's very nostalgic, and that suits Touhou. The ending was funny as well. Instead of Flandre learning not to be so headstrong, it seems Remilia needs to learn to be less prideful first (will that ever happen, though...). On the bright side, Patchy probably benefited from the workout.

The fact it is most commonly used to refer to manga based on copyrighted characters (and more specifically, to "adult" manga of this type) is immaterial. In fact, Touhou *itself* is referred to as a "doujin shooter" because ZUN makes (most of) the games pretty much single-handedly.
Actually there is some fan fiction that Sakuya acts sometimes motherly for Flan-chan or even for Remi-chan (especially when she got "charisma break"). But i guess she just needs to gain her respect from vampire girl that kills every human straight off when she just sees them.
I'm not sure myself. In many animes I've heard that water a vampire's weakness. For example in Rosario Vampire. Moka Akashiya, a vampire from the anime is only able to bathe in water that has certain herbs in it, but she can't be in normal water.
True, True, only for the fact that Remilia uses Aya and Utsuho as her example for the sun and wind. Unless she manipulated fate to give Utsuho Nuclear powers because Flandre would keep destroying the Sun and this takes place sometime before Touhou 11.
I think it would be quite the same actually. Even if they have functional immortality, it only stays that way in the forms of disease immunity and becoming ageless. They can still die, if by violent means.
