  • It's no surprise that having cancer affects many people around you. My husband was my primary caretaker and it certainly took a toll on him. He was there when it was time to shave my head, when I had to crawl upstairs because I was so weak, and when I was depressed. Listen to how he felt when we first heard my diagnosis and his advice for others on what to expect through breast cancer treatment.

Thank you so much for sharing this really hits home currently my wife is on her second treatment tomorrow it’s been a roller coaster. It’s crazy because you don’t usually see or hear about the husbands or caregivers experience and emotional impact it has on us and how hard it is to watch the love of your life go trough this and feel helpless. God and my Faith was and still my strength trough these times and he has answered our prayers and makes us new every day. Please thank your husband for me and let him know his testimony helps to know we are not alone on how we feel. God bless you and your family always I’ll be praying for you guys and thank again.

This is beautiful in so many ways - the love you two clearly have for each other, vulnerability, and the unconditional support while both going through everything together.
