Genya would no doubt be one the most unique character concepts in the game. Him being a hybrid of slayer and demon while using unconventional attacks, tools is sure to be crazy fun time.
since his skill is his primary source of damage I'm assuming it will also deal a lot of guard damage,maybe if the enemy blocks both shots the guard turns red
My guess on his ult would be a couple of slashes that comes right after hitting his ult attack, he pulls up his shotgun and fire at point blank range. The frame follows the opponent as they slide away before cutting back to genya that have offscreen picked up a tree, which he aggressively throws while yelling "bastard". The tree crashes into the proned opponent creating a cinematic dust cloud explosion from the impact.
My moveset for genya (specials) 1: a dodge roll we negates all attacks and if activated again will do a close up shotgun blast doing good damage but having a short range. 2: counter move where he dodges under an attack and shotguns them in the face. 3: a move where he eats demon flesh, giving him a sort of guge mechanic similar to Gohan in dbfz where he getting buffs to his overall moveset and maybe even completely changing it after a certain amount of move usage

If there's one there that we don't need, it's either new tanjiro or genya (we can get a genya based on all the fights he's in instead of just SSV arc))
For guard skill, instead of healing or in addition of, I imagined him take the attack, disapear and give a sword attack from behind like a counter (just like when he gets attack by azetsu and appear again from behind !) We don’t have many counter I do imagined him healing during surge but a little and very slowly
maybe his guard skill can be a parry of some sort like giyu’s dead calm but instead of it being around him u actually have to hit it and when u do hit him he falls down to his knees (almost like the crumbling animation), shooting his shotgun, sending his opponent into the air. ik u already used this but i feel like it’d fit better here since durin they scene he actually gets hit.
I'm surprised you consider a double barrel shotgun to be a projectile, I feel like it would more likely be a mid range cone type of damaging effect that hitstuns. Overall, still would be drastically different from what we have now :o
Hey Globku, pls can you tell the Naruto Storm Connections team that they should add the blood splatter and splashes of Storm 3 full burst and storm revolution to storm connections, and should even make the black blood of sasuke and Itachi using Amaterasu actual blood color red not black. Pls it would be nice if you could relate this to them. Before the game releases.
Will you make a moveset for Tanjiro season 3 as well? I know that question may sound strange considering that we already have 3 Tanjiro. But I think with pink flames, new special attacks and sun dragon as an ult, he could be quite fun to play.

I’d probably give him a command grab. This would just deal damage if your target is a Slayer. However, if your target is a Demon, the move would be replaced by one of that Demon’s abilities (Or, in the case of Kaigaku and Kokushibo, who would probably be in the game with Genya, since I think a sequel would probably have to adapt the entire remainder of the series, a generic attack using their Blood Demon Arts; it wouldn’t make sense for Genya to copy a Breathing form).
he doesn't have a BDA so it doesn't make too much sense to give him demon skills unless it's just other ways of firing his shotgun, but yeah he def shouldn't have assists while in surge
How about instead of his healing skill, what if his bite was a skill and whenever he bites a demon in particular, he will then copy one of their demon skills but to a lesser extent. So for example he bites Akaza and is able to perform air type but less stronger than if it’s from Akaza himself. The way it would work is once he bites a demon, the next press of that skill button will be 1 single use of a demon skill from whoever he bit. Obviously it would have to have a different functionality altogether for if he bites a slayer, maybe it just does damage and some other stuff without copying anything. I think it would be cool if they used his demon mimicking ability in that way
I think his ultimate should be he holds the person by the neck then shoots them then eats a demon then throws the opponnent into a tree then grabs a tree to knock all of the other ones down on the opponnent and then slams the tree on the opponnent
I think it would actually be quite cool if all the Hantengu clones would be their own characters. For example, Leaf-Tengu would have wind manipulation where he could make a tornando for an ultimate. His down finisher could be that leaf attack which sent Tanjiro and Nezuko down the building, leafing (Get it) the leaf print on the ground.
Globku genya will most likely have short range on his sword since it isnt actually a katana its a shorter version of it which was more commonly used I don't remember it's name though

great vid but it leans too much in passive play for an aggressive person. He would benefit from a reload style like chung from elsword. He reloads mid attack, so he hits u with the gun and puts in a bullet and you can only fire bullets during his attacks if he reloaded so it makes players have to cycle through different attack strings to reload and fire. Its crazy fun to have it this way and it makes aggressive play the best style.
If you're right about being able to switch between 1-2 characters for slayers and demons in the sequel, I don't see why genya couldn't function as a demon. Same goes for slayer nezuko actually.

Like depending on the demon he ate he would be able to use Disorder if he ate Akaza, for example.
It's not really possible, because he's a slayer, so how would the 2 first move works as assist ?

OK GLOBKU you've done genya now we need gyokko, gyokko may not be the strongest but his playstyle is definitely one of the most interesting
