Buying this!!
AWESOME! Bill, could we see this under YOUR Teal Cobra? 👀
Awesome
That silver cobra is one of the cleanest builds ive laid my eyes on as of late. What a tasteful combination. Bet it hauls ass too 😁
Doesn't the 99-041 Cobra IRS fit in the FOX almost plain bolt in? Wouldn't that mean, minus wheelbase, that this would fit the SN95s?
yes they do but they have a bad reputation for not being able to take a lot of horse power.
Yes but the prices have now gone way up. Someone on eBay was asking $800 per spindle. The center sections are over $1,000 if you can find one.
Anything for the sn95 and New Edge?
yes this?!
I understand why they stayed with the original Fox track width but that is going to mean longer studs and spacers for modern performance wheels/tires.
Now do the new edge ors with tubular arms
What is the cost of the base IRS kit ?
4500 no differential ,no cv axles ,
How is this different from the stock IRS in the 99-04 Corbas?
Its probably not
99-04 irs cant handle the same amount of hp.
I wonder how this compares to the cobra irs
Well, this is based on s550, 2015-current, being as the IRS in the 99-00 suck and the 03-04 cobra aren't the greatest either. Thus, I am gonna guess this is night and day better overall.
Sadly they focused on the wrong market. There a far more 94-04 Mustangs on the road than Foxes. On top of that most Foxes are entering the stage where they are stored and not driven anymore.
They missed the ball...the new edge is the mustang they should develop for.
That is true but since foxs are classic now. It kinda makes sense. I daily driver my 92 fox
Hopefully they did their research… fox bodies are the cars that the older guys with money are putting big money into.. the guys with the new era mustangs and s197’s don’t have the deep pockets for these yet. This thin has to be pricey…
I think its pretty cool idea to make a 40 year old mustang ride and handle like a brand new 2015+ mustang.
Since its preassembled that makes install look easy,, trick is how do you lift that whole assembly up to the car to bolt it on?
@@keithbellair9508 doesnt come with differential...or the axles...or the coilovers..your basically getting the tubular frame for 4500 dollars...you have to source all those other parts yourself
The suspensions are so similar in the back that I’m pretty sure they could make small adaptations hopefully for the sn95
pft... forget about the foxbody, I want this under my '68 coupe ! lol
For those who want to make their own fox body terminator.
Way overpriced !!
You'll be close to $10k on this swap once "properly" done.
Better off going to the junkyard
