I actually like this idea because I like both birds. I’d never own one because I’m too adhd to give it all my attention but I do like to admire them from a distance and watch vids on them.
Thanks for the videos. I am a tiny private bird shelter (as a volunteer, I have a different full time job) since a few weeks and got to take care of a raven. He first was with us, but after he started to get active, he moved outside. Gladly we live in a remote house with plenty of other ravens around. We will try to keep him as a friend with some of your tips in mind, but are also fine if he chooses to move on with his friends. You are absolutely right about the cage matter. I could not imagine how extremely miserable his live would be if he was stripped of his freedom, his curiosity.
That's exactly how I feel too. If I were blessed to care for a raven, I think I would probably have it in a chicken yard situation so the raven could fly away if he wanted, or have a safe place to come to if he wanted 🤷🏻♀️
Wow last night I was just thinking of asking if you would make a video like this. Thank you Peter! There's an umbrella cockatoo at my work that has really attached to me so I want to learn more about bird behavior and training. And I knew you trained birds too so I was interested to hear your thoughts on the subject. Lovely to see Sam
You could find a replacement for his perch, a black one to make him extra happy😁 I thought about painting it black, but paint is obviously not safe for birds especially, and you'd have to take the perch from him while painting and letting it dry. This doesn't seem like a good idea.
If you have the time, money, and above all patience. I like your approach, you stay calm and if he weighs your last nerve, you call him a douche and move on.
Can you explain how you manage to house a cockatoo, a raven, and pigeons all under one roof, but not in cages? Why do we never see Peaches, the Cockatoo?
My raven insists that third quarter mutual funds should be traded only on Tuesdays. But if my distributor happens to stop on the number 3 cylinder, then Monday's are ok too. I just don't trust him.
You’re doing good. I respect your knowledge and appreciate the tips. I won’t even think about getting a raven as a pet but I would like to befriend them so maybe they will clear the mice that are inhabiting the addict in my back house. I just started following you and I heard what she said about the water supply I have a water pond and a waterfall feature. I understand no chemicals and I don’t plan on having any fish. But I don’t want mice either. Do you recommend the neighborhood ravens or the neighborhood owls or hawks?
This guy is great. I love how he talks to Sam. Very everyday kind of communicating.
You should do a video comparing ravens to crows and explaining the differences
that sounds pretty interesting

Dude you could do the ultimate Odin cosplay if you train a second one
We have a raven in the UK . His name is loki, he does the raven in assassins creed xxx
“You can’t impose your will on a bird” proceeds to have to impose his will to make him do something
Wasn’t much about the whole training part but lots of wisdom still
Found this channel this morning. Fucking stellar mate.

So quoth the Raven.
I hope he gets to go outdoors..if you care for him you will respect that he needs to be ouside on trees and such. They are not toys for your amusement
