Nigel Farage ripped apart after claiming Ukraine invasion is result of EU and NATO provoking Putin!

  • Nigel Farage's praise of Putin has resurfaced. Nigel Farage is being humiliated for his latest 2022 take on Ukraine after Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade the country. In 2018 EUdebates he told that he didn't want to pay the price for Ms Merkel’s errors. TODAY?
    #Farage #Putin #Russia #Brexit
Having heard you today, and listening to senior French politicians over the last couple of days - that for us leaving the European Union is now indeed a liberation. It’s a European Union that we’re told is now to become an empire, a militarised European Union, an undemocratic European Union, a European Union that seeks to continually expand to the east. A European Union that has launched a new Cold War against the United States of America. A European Union that tries to rewrite history. And I think, a hundred years on from the Armistice, we should be genuinely worried. The idea that this new militarised Union is somehow a recipe for peace - I suggest you will sit back and think a little bit more carefully. Maybe you should all reread history: the European project was set up to stop German domination. What you’ve seen today is a naked takeover bid.
    (Applause in some quarters)
So I think Brexit becomes a necessity after this. And for the rest of the countries: Ms Merkel, you’ve had a long, successful career, but your political decision to open up the doors unconditionally is the worst decision we’ve seen in post-war politics in Europe. Is it not time for you at last to admit that you were wrong? Is it not time for you to say to German communities and many others ‘I’m sorry for what I’ve done to you and the problems I have inflicted upon you for many decades to come’?
Nigel Farage, on behalf of the EFDD Group.
    Tuesday, 13 November 2018 - Strasbourg
Debate with the Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, on the Future of Europe
#eudebates the unique initiative aiming to promote debate, dialogue, knowledge, participation and communication among citizens.
    Feb 2022
Nigel Farage is being humiliated for his latest 2022 take on Ukraine after Vladimir Putin’s decision to invade the country.
The GB News host said in his latest tweet: “Well, I was wrong. Putin has gone much further than I thought he would.
“A consequence of EU and NATO expansion, which came to a head in 2014. It made no sense to poke the Russian bear with a stick.
“These are dark days for Europe.”
Not only did Farage fail to condemn Putin for his decision to invade Ukraine, he also failed to show any support for the Ukrainian people.
Farage has spent quite a bit of time on GB News pushing Putin’s line. Last week he claimed that Putin’s demand that Ukraine does not join the western military alliance NATO should be met.
He said: “The prime minister said ‘we need to learn the lessons of 2014’. Well, what happened in 2014 in the Ukraine was a revolution, albeit a pretty peaceful one, an elected leader removed from office and then of course, the Crimea taken by Vladimir Putin’s forces.
“And yes Mr Johnson, we do need to learn the lessons of 2014, because it was the European Union wanting to expand, wanting the Ukraine to join it, that directly led to that revolution. People stood there in the squares of Kyiv waving European Union flags.
“I thought for 30 years that the NATO policy, the EU policy of expanding ever eastwards was a huge strategic error.”
Following his latest tweet Farage was ridiculed on social media. Anna Soubry commented: “No condemnation of Putin’s invasion of #Ukraine & no support for its people. #Farage is no democrat & previous followers are now seeing him for what he is really is - a Putin apologist.”
Brian Moore tweeted in response: “Lord Haw Haw speaks”.
Tom Chivers tweeted: “Something I don’t say very often because I kind of assume all my followers already think it, but worth reiterating now: Nigel Farage is really, really bad. Just a bad person who is bad for the world. Either stupid or malign, and probably both.”

By your logic then if a country joins these organisations EU has the right to attack them and destroy their country with shelling every day?

Nigel is undoubtedly one of Putin's most useful idiots. He has done his best to damage that European Union that Ukraine is so keen to join. He warns us not to 'poke the Russian bear while implying that Russia's invasion of the Ukrain is justified. No doubt about it, Nigel is on Putin's team and if Putin was cabable of organising anything Nigel would surely be officially a Hero of the Russian federation.
