Thank you for your daily vlog, Anna. 🔱HEROYAM🇺🇦SLAVA🔱 🇺🇸💙💛🇺🇦
The membership of Ukraine will be a great boon and an immeasurable benefit to the European Union and soon, NATO.
Ukraine has a roughly similar population to that of Poland. The Polish economy and economic recovery has been one of the big European success stories of the last thirty years, especially after Poland's entry into the EU twenty years ago. For all the tired jokes about Polish gastarbeiter plumbers during the earlier EU membership years, Poland is now already economically strong enough that many Poles have re-migrated back to Poland from their jobs and residences in western Europe, and Poland is even set to overtake the economy of the United Kingdom. With a bit of work, Ukraine could easily become a similar success story as Poland. Especially if Ukrainians show the entrepreneurial spirit and spirit for innovation they've been expanding this century, even during the events of this war.
I actually own a gas heater unit in my house that was manufactured in Ukraine, installed just about two years ago, replacing an older and less modern heater unit. The new one's far more easy to maintain and regulate, has a much easier water intake system, a modern digital readout, several modes... and is a Ukrainian product, of EU level quality, even though Ukraine is not yet in the EU. So there's plenty of potential for Ukrainian consumer products on the EU market. I'd certainly welcome it. Though it would increase competition for some of our own goods, it would also increase them for Polish goods, and the increase in competition would be a good push for our and Polish goods improving their quality further, with the added competition of Ukrainian goods.
Ukraine in the EU, especially with highways and railways updated to EU standards, could form a transport corridor and a figurative "spine" of the big mainland EU states: Starting from the west, France, then Germany, then Poland, then Ukraine. Four larger, populous, economically significant continental European countries. An added Ukrainian voice would also add additional parity to the economic and political balance between Poland and the longer-lived, founding EU duo of France and Germany.
This is a well thought out comment. Thank You!
The EU *needs* Ukraine. As does NATO. And culturally, Ukraine is a scandinavian nation, well neigh a swedish province.
Hey Anna ,the free world thinks you're #1. The same for Ukraine !!!! Would be proud as could possibly be for your country to be part of Nato or the US .

The future is bright for Ukraine. It will become one of the most economically powerful and prosperous countries in Europe. Slava Ukraini.
Heroyam Slava !!
This was and still is my opinion. It may sound macabre but building a whole country and complete cities freshly from scratch gives such an incredible boost. The "rotting west" has a lot more difficulties during its transformation into green energy, sustainability, infrastructure etc. I see a future of flourishing businesses, financed by western countries. No need to worry on the economic level at all. If we show the will to invest a little bit into our own future.
EU is welcome to apply to join glorious Ukraine. Thought from USA
It is amazing to see how nice the Ukrainian people are. Thank you Anna. Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦

6:32 Ben Hodges says the same, Ukraine will be strong member for NATO.
Ben Hodges is the never tired, strong voice and thinker for Ukraine. I wish he would be more present in global media instead of the all-day "Ukraine is losing the war, it's hopeless, mememe...".
Anna, thank you for this good news. I stand firm for Democracy and so are many of your followers. 😀 Slava Ukraine ❤💛💙🇺🇦
Hello Anna from Tucson Arizona , l am an American of Mexican decent and l would love it when Ukraine joins the west , you and all the brave Ukrainian people will continue to be in my prayers, oh and before I forget Anna you look Ukrainian, beautiful ! 🫠
Dear Anna, I have been to Europe very few times. It is very difficult financially to travel from Mexico to Europe. I have never been to Ukraine, but listening to you has made me want to visit this wonderful country.
Hi Paola ! Me too, I'm so attracted to this country since I saw all of Anna's vlogs and other videos from Ukraine...
@finlandveteran4409 Hello Finnish friend. I know what Finland suffered in late 1939. That invasion was an atrocity by Stalin. Putin is no different from Stalin and Hitler. Greetings from Mexico
Ukraine is fantastic. I have had the pleasure from being in Ukraine in 2015. I was in Kharkiv.
@@martinandersen1849 I wait impatiently to see all our Anna's Family there as soon as possible...
@@martinandersen1849 (Ukraine is fantastic....) Hello Martin. I hope I have the opportunity to go to that wonderful country, although traveling from Mexico to Europe is very expensive.
Yes, indeed! I am American and the spitting image of my Swedish grandmother. (Even my dad mistook me once for his mother, and nearly had a heart attack.) I was in Finland on a tour. A man thought I was Swedish, and when I said no, he accused me of lying.

Ukrainians are wonderful, my late wife's family on her mother's side are Ukrainian and Polish. Can't wait to visit Ukraine
Hi Anna, I feel sure that Ukraine will be welcomed into the EU and the EU will be lucky to have you
I was one of those in UK that voted to remain in the EU but 52% voted to leave

Fortunately we did , apart from one state , all unite for Ukraine and for what you are bravely doing for us ALL

Slava Ukraini!
I’m happy for this good news. Ukraine is Europe, not CCCP.
Differences among Europeans is a very interesting topic. I often think of a video I saw that was pretty much the history of Europe in 15 minutes. Different colors represented different tribes then empires then nations and how the ebb and flow of wars changed boundaries. It was like looking at a kaleidoscope with the colors changing and swirling so fast. I think NATO and the EU have done a lot for keeping European nations in a spirit of cooperation rather than conflict. I hope it wasn't just an interlude before the colors start swirling again.
Absolutely. People complaining about immigrants don't understand that Europe has always and always will be a region of mobile folks. Having national borders may be helpful in an organization level. On a cultural or linguistic level one can see that the borders fade away. Why should the neighbor 100 meters next to you be completely different, just because there was a line drawn on the map?
@@alexanderlehner1849 Unfortunately, armies are a different sort of "mobile folks". We should respect our differences, but we still need borders for a long time to come. The will to power and domination is hardwired in our species. Cooperation within international organizations is an attempt to avoid war and establish trust. NATO was formed in response to Russian aggression. To my mind, this alliance also facilitated historically warring western European countries to be peaceful among themselves. Believing a new era of cooperation was blossoming, western Europe was shocked this war could happen. The war we talk about here is Russia trying to make Ukrainian borders fade away... _into Russia_ . Ukrainian culture and language to be eliminated. For a step of separation from the old brutal ways, Ukraine must retain their legal borders and take a place in the community of western nations. Russia is actively attempting to form alliances in opposition to that culture. Borders encompassing borders. I wish this wasn't happening and we could just appreciate each other. Lots of work to be done.
Slava Ukraine 👍 ❤vielen dank lady Anna 👉🌺💕💙💛✌️💯✅️✅️
Thanks again Anna for the ongoing videos. Good luck with your book. Prayers continue for you and your country and Slava Ukraine.

Hello Anna, I’m Dutch 🇳🇱 living in Brazil 🇧🇷 and people always ask me if I’m American or German, so that is normal, that nationalities get confused.
I think you are very “normal” and beautiful too and so are most Ukrainians. I hope you will join EU soon. You belong there! 🇺🇦 Slava Ukraini! 🇺🇦
Heroyam Slava !!
Welcome in Europe would be great having you all Ukraine!
I can’t remember ever being addressed as a different nationality, but some 40+ years ago I remember a jewelry sales lady confusing my mom as my wife! At one point, she quipped “wouldn’t that necklace look good on your wife”? My wife???…that’s my mom!
My mom was a professional model in her early ‘20’s, and she still looks surprisingly young today at 93-years-old. On the other hand, I was going bald at just 22-years-old, so I can understand how the sales lady made this mistake! 😅
Anna…. As an “old lady” speaking to you, the young lady…. I appreciate your daily steadiness, your calm and insightful commentary. As I look to you for information on Russia’s terrible ravaging of Ukraine, I hope and trust you will remain safe, that you have personal security measures in place! Peace be with you - and Ukraine! 🇺🇦 🇺🇸
So nice comment Holly !💙🌻
I have never been misidentified as anything other than who I am, with the exception of in the 1980's when I traveled to your country. I have blond hair and blue eyes, so I am who I am. Ukraine deserves to be a part of the EU. The Ukrainian people are beautiful loving and caring people.
Putin does not want Ukraine in the EU .. he knows that art. 42.7 of the Lisbon Treaty has been in force since 2009 (if an EU country is the victim of armed aggression on its territory, the other EU countries have the obligation to help and assist it with all the means in their power).. the united EU represents the second world military power ... no one can touch a member country of the EU with impunity .. I hope Ukraine will soon be part of the family of the United Europe.
I don't think Putin will have much power to stop this when the war is over. If he ever sees the end of the war, that is.He just may prematurely fall out of a window.
Thank you Anna for another very thought provoking discussion. Anyone that takes the time to watch videos posted by ordinary Ukrainians will see how modern, smart and hard working everyone is. Multi lingual and how quickly new products and technologies are embraced and how well educated and aware of the world every one is. More than many places in west even. Yet with typical ethnic European traditions and customs. Folk art, history, etc. Ukraine should be integrated as quickly as possible into every western organization and group. Leading with EU and Nato of course. Maybe people think you are Italian or Spanish as you are so happy and expressive person. You wear your emotions and that is so natural and nice. You are someone everyone wants to know. I think you will give great speeches in the EU congress in the future! ❤❤
❤🇺🇦❤️ Welcome into EU!

There's is a big difference.that Ukrainian people have that sets
Them apart. It's the passion and
Patriotism . Love the country and
Willing to sacrifice themselves
For something bigger than themselves
In the first few weeks of the invasion when I saw videos of people making petrol cocktails in their basements and workshops cutting up leaf springs to make body armour I realised that Russia could not win and that all of Ukraine would be free.
Oh yeees! I remember those first days and thought "Wow, you better not mess around with those guys, they are pretty serious."

Ukraine will be a great asset for the EU because you might rekindle a thirst for democracy as more and more people are tempted by more authoritarian power.

Yes I have been mistaken for either Australian or English but I am a first generation Kiwi (New Zealander) 😘😘😘My parents were Dutch and both survived the occupation of the Netherlands and both witnessed horrific things that they never forgot and because of that my siblings and I were also affected. Unwanted occupation is an evil that bullies perpetrate in order to feel strong. Only greater strength will undo the evil.
I look forward to the day. Ukraine flag even has the same colours as the EU flag. 🇺🇦🇪🇺💙💛
I have only ever met Ukrainians online when I was younger, mostly in this stupid racing game called Trackmania Nations Forever. We went on to share Skype (yes that was a thing back then..it was in like 2012) and later more. We had stupid and serious conversations and all I can say is that you are right. Ukraine belongs to Europe and the EU.
After the war started I met more Ukrainians here in Germany and the only thing that changed was that my support grew stronger. before I was like "ye sure I'd love if you joined the EU, but that's kinda your deal" now I'm much more invested. I want the people of Ukraine to have their freedom at last and be friends, because I think that would be a big win for all of us.
I have never been mistaken for another nation....I think Germans are recognized everywhere, it's so bad that Austrians and Swiss People are complaining to be called Germans all the time 😅
From the Netherlands, you're more than welcome to join the EU. And it may take time for Ukraine to satisfy the EU requirements, but it may prove easier to implement the necessary changes in a post-war Ukraine than in any other country, so don't despair. Do expect push-back, though, but then again, there was also a lot of push-back too when Poland, Bulgaria and Romania joined the EU, and that turned out OK in the end.
Oh, and I'm usually taken for an American, even in the US.
Thanks for that Anna. Stay safe and keep well

Great video Anna. Finland and Sweden were given a fast track into NATO after Ukraine was told there was no fast process to join NATO. This was unfair. Ukraine should be admitted into the EU and NATO since all the NATO and EU countries are using Ukraine as pawns in the conflict with Russia. If your people can shed the blood for them then you should be able to join them. Fair is fair. Skavakrania
