Best thing Monrovia did was bring you on. Every time you show their plants, I head to my Nursery and pick them up. I will be grabbing that lavender today! Thank you for being thorough and explaining important info about these plants. Your pairing choices are also phenomenal!
Agree
I agree. I never knew about their petchoa and went to get some from Lowe's!
Monrovia you picked a treasure in Robbie! Love his real approach to his channel and intro to the wonderful world of Monrovia 🌻
Yes! I agree. It doesn’t feel like we are watching a commercial, unlike how some others channels have become.
Sadie is my spirit animal….”she’s old, she likes her alone time” 😂😂
Thanks for the video 😊
That lavender and window box are so beautiful together! Loved seeing your whole family together in the video this morning ❤ Brent and Sadie need to make more appearances 😊
Robbie! You finished that entire project all at once! Clearing bed, drip, planting, and mulching! And it looks FABULOUS! I’m so loving your window planter box, too. Just beautiful! 😍
A lavender walk, how lovely.
Thanks Robbie and Brent and Freya and Sadie 💐💚🙃
Robbie, your garden is starting to look even more beautiful than ever! Love all the new plants you are planting… it’s also very nice to see Brent more and more in your videos, love how he helps you and supports you with your projects. I also love your doggies 💕
Both your dogs are beautiful!!!!!
Also loving the window box color combination!!!!!
The most beautiful flower is freya.
Who’s the other beautiful dog? I’m new to the channel don’t know everything
That is beautiful 💕. The window box and below. So loving that look. Thanks for bringing us to see it😊
Oh my word! It looks gorgeous.
The lavendar looks absolutely stunning! 🥰 So does the window box.
It’s so lovely seeing both Freya and Sadie living their best lives in the video. Ruby-Alice our 14 year old chihuahua x is just like Sadie. She loves her own company as she ages.
Ps: it’s a treat seeing more of Brent in the last few videos. 🤗🥰🤗
Plant them high they won’t die, plant them low they won’t grow. 😘💐💚🙃 Aaron from Garden Answer said that and it has become my mantra . I have clay soil. BTW. 💐💚🙃 Makes sense especially if your going to be mulching. 💐💚🙃
Dear Robbie be still my heart! I loved watching the lavenders going in this morning, that already looks so gorgeous to me! One of my favorites! Seeing Sadie along with Brent and Freya was special too! Stay hydrated and enjoy your day!
Everything is looking so beautiful! Your house is so charming! Great job!
It's filling up with water......... Just kidding Hahahahahahahaha
Oh man, seeing your knees on the cement or stones makes me cringe! Please use a kneeler?
By all means, take care of the knees while you are young!
Sadie is my spirit animal, frolicking with joy about her alone time! 😂 😂
Me too! 😂
I ❤ your window box and don't think it's overplanted. The Lavender matches perfectly with the color scheme. Bees love my Lavender, along with other pollinators.
We’ve been looking forward to this video all day. 🥰❤️🥰
Absolutely beautiful and that window box is FABULOUS!!!!!!
I love this! Can’t wait to see how the lavender grows and hear if it really helped the mosquitoes and flies.
Freya looks like a guard dog statue on the porch. 😂 She’s so pretty.
You've done a great job..👏👏 what I've learnt over the years lavender needs lots of sun, drainage and small amount of water..
I know water has been my problem..but alas I've learnt..happy growing💗🪻🪻
I think the lavender is planted a little bit too deeply. I have always had success planting a bit high and then using pea gravel as a mulch.
I love it when you tell us beautiful stories about your puppies!
The lavender hedge is so pretty and that window box is gorgeous.
I just love your constant companion Freya! She’s so sweet ❤
I think Brent and Sadie are kindred spirits they both don’t feel comfortable being on camera.🙂💐💚🙃
I LOVE IT!!!!!! Can I just say bad Robbie, bad, bad Robbie!!!! "The hole is filling up with water" my heart sank!!!!! 😂😂😂
So lovely. Great job.❤
Robbie, I like your thought process for spacing the lavender. My brain works like yours. The lavender are so beautiful.
Beautiful! The creeping jenny and dichondra is perfect in the window boxes. I'm in zone 6b and creeping jenny will over winter for me. It is my first year with silver falls.... is that considered an annual?
YES! Lavender hedges would be amazing. I vote 👍🏻, sorry Brent.
Hi Robbie,
Loved where you put your lavender, and yes i think it would look Sooooo pretty with the lavender on the other side too,,,
Sorry Brent x
Can't wait to see where you put the other plants,
Nice to see you Brent, and just think how beautiful it would look lavender , lavender, 🪻🪻🪻 xxx
Luv Ya ,,,,,,,,,, 😂🌹
OMG, Robbie and Brent .. This look is a wowza and a keeper...the window box plant combo is a stunner and this lavender hedge...am taking notes for next year planting😀... Loved seeing both the doggos... They clearly approve this planting combo... What is that chartreuse plant in the planter by the steps? This whole view is a perfect orchestra, all the plants complementing each other in perfect melody!! ❤❤
Aloha Robbie!!! I like the idea of expanding the walk way! Maybe Brent will come around~ lol. My hubby is the same with the NO's... BUT he softens up and lets me do my creative idea's! LOL! Question:. Do you think that the lavender would work in zone 12 if I kept from the harsh sun. I live in Hawaii, and I would love to grow the lavender by my patio door to keep the flies away. My patio door get's shade through out the day. Do you know other plants that repel flies? Thanks for the inspiration! MAHALO
Dear Robbie I absolutely love how your garden is evolving .. your garden is a zen garden that is totally therapeutic … … did you keep
The oxalis or discard or perhaps rehome ?
Hi Robbie! Fun seeing Brent, Sadie and Freya, too! The window box is so pretty. I love the lavender hedge below it with the mulch. Thank you so much for sharing!
The oxalis rhizomes always remind me of shrimp. 😆
I unsuccesfully attempted to grow a lavendar plant last year, and I'm thinking I should try again after seeing you plant yours.
I can't believe yall are already hitting the 100s. I know that's coming for us soon here in Texas so, I'm wishing you the best.
P.s. your doggos are super adorable.
Robbie, it looks so GOOD!! ❤ ❤❤ but then you started to describe the hedge idea and I was “YES, do it! Let go, Robbie!” I saw it too how you were describing it and was super excited to imagine a lavender hedge flanking both sides of the walkway. How difficult is it to move a sprinkler system?! Would you have to hire someone to do it? Just daydreaming with you, but wondering possibilities for myself too. It was such a treat to see the whole family out while you were gardening, great video!😊
Well maybe I’ll try again but this year threw out the dead proven winners sweet romance.
Looks gorgeous Robbie! Looking forward to trying again!
Aww, come on, Brent. We want all the lavender hedges! Can we take a vote?😃💜
That hedge is stunning, Robbie. Clean and impactful!
I also want to wish you two a happy pride month. I will celebrate your love every minute, every day, every month of the year but it's June and I am going to take this opportunity to tell you. 🌈🥰
Robbie, you were figuring out the spacing with the lavender, if they are not exact just remember nature grows in random spaces. The lavender hedge looks so beautiful!!
Love your Lavenders! The ones you have are annuals here, so I got a couple of small ones, and my fingers are crossed that somehow, they will over winter (zone 6 here) - I just love that bloom! I love the way you did it & yes, I probably would have to stop at the 5 (budget-wise) but I prefer what you did - love it! & I love all the interactions with Brent and your adorable pups, Sadie & Freya!
I’m more familiar with proven winners plants from watching Garden Answer. We can’t find a lot of those so I’m interested if Monrovia’s equivalent hold up as well. I have 17 sweet romance lavender and I’m interested in Monrovia’s similar product. Also similar vista petunias if they’re named something different ❤ love watching you as always!
Robbie, thank you for recommending Garden Time Pathway mulch. What a game changer for me. I have a lot of area that needs to be mulched which gets quite pricey. I was able to mulch my beds for a third of the cost of what I was doing in the past. Love your channel!
Robbie the lavender is so very beautiful, its going to make a huge impact on that flower garden. The fragrance is going to breath taking. I love Monrovia, you can find alot of these beautiful plants at big box stores around here in NE Oklahoma. I love your channel.❤❤❤
❤ today’s project!
A few of those Oxalis would look awesome added to the window box above!!
How, in the world, did you get them all to line up in an exact straight row? I didn't see you stake a string/line - good eye!!! Sadie and I would get along great - frolicking in the backyard when everyone leaves the house. Love her.
How about the oxalis and kilamanjero marigolds? Bet it would be pretty!
Love the lavender choice. So beautiful! (Whoever selects your music for your videos kudos to you. Love it.)
Hedge of lavenders on both sides if the walkway would look so amazing... Plz Brent 😢 at least think about it❤
love the window box and flushed it's getting pair s well with the lavender hedge love it!.. awesome job
Love the lavender! The placement looks perfect. Now that I know there is a smaller version I will find a spot in my garden.
So beautiful ❤️. As for the dogs, I'm a Sadie. I like my backyard alone time 😂
6:09 Your steps would blend in better if they were stained the same color as the porch floor.
23:02 The walkway too 🤗
The lavender is so gorgeous!!
Oh Robbie, this will be stunning ( already is) Hi Sadie, it was nice to see you!🇨🇦🌸🇨🇦
Did anyone else notice Robbie using the black tubing to cover the white at the foundation? Nice job!
I love lavender but lavender hates me lol. I gave up on growing it but I’ll enjoy yours.
I love lavender but it doesn’t like Florida which is a bummer😙👍😎❤️
Nice lavender :) I would deadhead the spent blooms to help clean it up. I always find it therapeutic to snip away at plants lol. Looks great in that spot!
You can hang a small fan from the corner of your pouch and that will help keep the flies away. I blow mine toward my door and it keeps them from coming in my house.
Really enjoyed watching you plant in real time. Speeding up a video is not as enjoyable! Loved seeing the dogs, they are so cute!
I just love how Brent smiles so cute when robbie makes him be on camera...adorable! Baby steps Brent...
Hi Robbie❣️ Your lavender there will be such an experience❤️
I need to copy your window boxes next year! Love the contrast and love the hedge of lavender. Great job!
What is your watering schedule with your drip irrigation
That looks really good and live the window box plants, gorgeous
I have a little bed in full sun that I planted up with a row of lavender two seasons ago and they got big! I relocated half of them this year and widened the bed and planted it up so its more informal with lots of old school cottage style plants. Looking forward to seeing how it progresses ❤
Hi Robbie, love where you put the lavender, I have tried growing it but it never works out for me ugh, I know they like lots of sun but that's about it any suggestions?
Thanks for sharing this video.
You all have a great rest of the day. 🌸 🙂 👋 🌼
🌱 🌱
Dogs are beautiful…loving your garden,pretty
Best flower box ever!! I follow 4-5 garden peeps and this is best one!😊
I am always tearing out oxialis they just take over everything.
I love butternut squash. I cut it up and steamed them, mash them up on my plate and add butter, salt & pepper.
Oh Robbie! That lavender hedge! 10 out of 10, Highly recommend! ❤
Love your show! Enjoy watching!
french country side garden!!!!!
Thanks Robbie, Brent, Sadie and Freya. I love the hedge! You don’t need to underplant-it’s beautiful!
Good morning Robbie and Brent! Starting my day before the sun is up and it gets HOT! (I'm like you - I don't do well in heat either). The lavender is lovely! Freya is as cute as ever, but Sadie is such a sweet girl. You guys are such good Dads to your dogs!! Have a great day and stay cool - summer is here!
show us the lavender when it grows in your garden end of summer I just grew lavender from seed
Funny how we all have our favorite flowers, I love the look of lavender but I hate the smell.
i like your window box too very professional looking 👌
Wow just got a look at the window box looks fabulous ! Wow it looks so good with the lavender !
Looks amazing, neat and very clean 🪴👒🪴
Lavender likes poor soil and I was told to never fertilize it. Curious why you did? 🤔
Maybe a row of the edging to hold the mulch in? Just a thought 😊
It’s beautiful Robbie and Freya was a great supervisor 😂❤
Robbie it looks amazing! You should plant a line of lemon coral sedum in front of your lavender.
Your window box is absolutely gorgeous!
I’m sure it’s gonna be beautiful ❤️😎
Your front yard is looking awesome!
The name is Purple Shamrocks
Loving that lavender Robbie!😊
I love the look of the window box and the lavender will be a nice addition
Do rabbits stay away from lavender?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️. Love your videos!
Love the lavender!! 💜 Will it winter over for you there in CA?
So beautiful. Nice job.
The lavender is beautiful 💜 and Freya 💕
Beautiful lavender, They are the bees knees.
