The water bottle situation truly annoys me. I completely agree with you, Tyler. I wish they’d just sacrifice the profit from bottles to be actually better for the guests and environment.
The spirit jerseys were a huge thing for our sorority girls in college. They all have their Greek letters on them. That’s how I knew about them before Disney
Yes this! When I was in college around 2012 they were very popular with sororities, and it was when the style was yoga pants and a shirt/top that covered your butt lol
1) spirit jerseys were big at my college. You could buy them at the bookstore and even the local Walmart. 2) I totally agree with the water bottle filling stations. If Disney is worried about losing money on supplying water, I would even pay a $1-2 to use the water bottle filling station and fill my own bottle rather than paying $6 for a bottle that I would throw away.
A big hot take for me is the Genie+/lightning lanes/whatever it’s called now that’s not FastPass. Disney is SO expensive, that it’s already budget stretching just to get in to the park. But then charging extra for a chance to get on a ride ticks me off. And the new system is just kinda confusing to me and I don’t totally understand it. They don’t have to go back to the paper FastPass (although I have fond memories of running to Splash Mountain or Test Track as soon as we got to the park to get a time slot for later in the day and collecting those tickets), but just the digital ones you have to reserve day of. It gives everyone the same level of opportunity to get on a ride and doesn’t just cater to the rich or the people who don’t have as tight of budgets. Families and people with tighter budgets are getting priced out of Disney it seems like. 😢
The best thing Disney ever did was MaxPass at Disneyland and now that it's gone it's awful. It was basically Genie+ but no additional Lightening Lanes rides and no limit to how many times you could do any one ride ride. The amount of times we did 20+ rides in a day thanks to maxpass was insane. Also, it included PhotoPass. It was $15 extra a day but it actually felt worth it.
Totally agree with Tyler about the skipper making or breaking The Jungle Cruise. The first time we ever rode it, our skipper was hilarious. We were so excited to ride it again on our next trip and were sooo disappointed when that skipper was tired and not so funny.
Along with the conservation thing… it would be nice if we could reuse our refillable mugs at the resort. If you want it as a souvenir, fine. But if you go a couple times a year, it be nice to be able to reactivated it.
spaceship earth was one of my faves when we went in september! dated sure, but the animatronics are surprisingly great. vibes are immaculate. musty smell? delightful.
I could not agree more about the water bottle prices. $6 for a bottle of Desani is outrageous especially when Florida feels like the surface of the sun half of the year. They need water filling stations everywhere.
This is so fun! I love this episode!! Peter Pan always has such a long line because it has the lowest capacity of all the rides, so fewer people can ride it at a time
Disneyland has bottle filling stations! I’m sure they’ll make their way to all park eventually. We were just in CA 2 weeks ago and I was surprised by the one in Starwars land!!
Completely agree on the water bottle filling stations! Even going into the quick service locations to get a cup of water is a waste. Have them in there too!
I just love y'all! Don't give a flip about Disney aside from movies and one trip in the 90's but y'all are so great together. You are so suited for each other
Rewatching these at work - I wanted to say that although the Mickey bars are overrated, I dreamt of those as a child and was never allowed to have one and let me tell you, buying one on my own as an adult for the first time was far more fulfilling than it should've been 😁
It's so interesting because Disneyland Paris have wattle refill stations! Also now wow specific but I will argue that Disneyland Paris is the prettiest castle!
I miss Kitetales and was so sad it didn’t even last the whole “50th celebration” bc it was hyped up before the start of it that AK was getting another show.
i’m a huge Pin collector, i don’t trade cause it’s not worth it. but the hunt to find new characters i dont have in my collection yet? oh man it’s a big layer of my trip each time
I don’t know if it’s because I’ve never been to Disney until my adult life, but I love characters. Also I love my spirit jerseys with leggings . My go too comfy outfit ! lol
The water bottle refill station thing is a FL thing, so I'm not so sure it's about money. We have them all over Disneyland. It could have something to do with the FL water, bc its exceptionally BAD.
Agree about most of these! HOWEVER, you cannot beat a Dole Whip while waiting to enter the Tiki Room! It just hits different! But maybe no Tiki Room in WDW? Disneyland is my home park.
I love Figment, but I can actually remember the old ride and it was my favorite when I went as a kid. The current ride does not compare at all.. Like it's okay, and I ride it every time I go, but I will forever miss the original.
I’ve been to Disney world exactly one time when I was 17, so I have no hot takes, cold takes or tepid takes 😂 but I am thoroughly enjoying this episode cause I just love you guys and your channels! Is it vlogmas yet?? 😅
I 100% agree about the breakfast. My husband and I did early park entry in DAK last year, and we could NOT find anything to eat 😂 I also feel the same way about the water bottle filling stations. We ended up slightly dehydrated in Magic Kingdom because the food lines everywhere were super long and there was nowhere to fill up a water bottle! Hollywood Studios is a little better, buts still not great
Love you Jessica, but you’re wrong about the Grand Floridian aesthetic. 😂 Also, I just wanted to let you know that they’re supposedly not done with the lobby renovation. They put it on pause for Christmas because they couldn’t get it done in time. The carpet was never pulled up, that was just plywood to protect the floors while they brought in machinery to paint. I’m curious to see what other changes they make. So far they’ve done the guest rooms, Citricos, Victoria & Albert’s, Enchanted Rose, and Narcoossee’s but they still need to do 1900 Park Fair/Tea Room and whatever else is left.
Monster's Inc Laugh Floor needs to go asap. I am traumatized from 2010 when I randomly got selected for ME to tell a knock knock joke off the top of my head.. I have never recovered
Love the Country Bears. Haven't seen it for many years, but as a teen going with my parents, it was a favorite of my dad's. I've always liked the Tiki room.
The water bottle issue was my biggest issue with Disney - they say they are working towards sustainability, how do they not have water bottle filling stations everywhere they have water fountains!? I brought a bottle, so I don't need to go to a quick service or restaurant to ask for water, just let me refill the bottle! Not at all a hot take from Tyler, IMHO 😂
Even if they just charged 50 cents to fill your bottle at the water filling stations, that wouldn't bother me a bit! Totally worth it to save on the insane waste.
Love the new setup! I agree with spirit jerseys looking bad haha but they are soooo comfy!! My university I went to sells them as merch and I think a lot of other schools do/did too. I went to uni in Canada though so not sure about other places.
I live in the Phx area in AZ and we have a water park that serves Dole Whip so we do get it there since it really hits the spot when you are in 110+ weather. But I totally agree! On our last trip in July, no one in our whole family got Dole Whip or a Mickey Bar.
The Journey of water with Moana, isn't it supposed to be teaching about the water cycle in a fun and entertaining way? If that's the case, then it seems more suited for Epcot than Animal Kingdom. Speaking of Animal Kingdom, the Africa area has a couple of good quick serve breakfast options.
So Disney actually does have water bottle filling stations, however the one I used in Cosmic Ray's tasted like straight up chlorine, so if they all taste like that I'd probably just continue to pay the $6 for Dasani.
Loved loved loved this episode. !!! Don't stop 😊. Go Tyler get those water bottle fillers And yes Jessica those spirit jerseys. 2:44 Only a Disney fan would spend a ton of money on something that doesn't look good on anyone 🤪❤️ and yes I have some. 😂
I agree with Jessica - Jungle Cruise is not my fav, but my fiancé says the same thing Tyler says, he likes it and says that it's all about the skipper!
PREACH TYLER! We are going soon (shoutout to Haleigh @ People Mover Travel woooo -- she's awesome) and when I saw how much Disney charged per water bottle I was like welp....we're bringing our own and refilling them/taking our own bottled water from Costco. I can get a huge thing of water bottles from costco for less money than a Dasani at the parks. Absolutely not. I've heard FL water tastes weird so I was nervous to not get water bottles x_x....we don't typically buy them at all because we refill our own. I know they do have SOME water bottle refill stations but it sounds like there aren't many.
First of all Magic Kingdom is amazing if you know how to work it… genie plus is a must and my favorite restaurant in all of Disney world is in there aka CRT 😋😍 Epcot and AK are half day parks and HS is one day park. We go to Magic kingdom for 2 full days 🥰
Headed to Disney HK next month and so excited to check out the new World of Frozen ❄️ (even though I think that it is the most overrated Disney movie - that’s my hot take!). Thanks for another interesting episode! 🏰
I regret my $80 spirit jersey from dca so fkn bad. It fits so badly. Not baggy enough like its loose and too long despite being my a small and the sleeves are slim fit and not baggy. Its not giving the oversized look at all its just awkward
I love the Country Bears, but they really have to fix the sound quality. Many people miss all the jokes because of the terrible sound. Also, the bears' accents, which I love, can be difficult to follow if you are not a native speaker. The unclear sound just compounds the issue for non-native speakers. Country Bears is one of the funniest attractions.
I think for the amount of money you have to spend to go there, things shouldn’t look so dated. The last time we went was 2017 and there were things that looked exactly the same as they did when I went in 1989 as a 12 year old. I get the nostalgia factor but things need serious updating. It’s 2023. We went to Dollywood this summer and my teens said they liked it better than Disney. And I heard that the Tron ride was only like 40 seconds long. I would have a hard time waiting so long for so little pay off.
I love the country bears. It probably is because it’s my last name (different spelling). I was so sad when they took it from Disneyland. I’m surprised it is still at DisneyWorld.
Tron was a little underwhelming. I think if it would have come out 7-8 years ago it would have been much more impressive. I agree. With most of these except enchantment HEA soundtrack is 1000x better.

The spirit jerseys were a huge thing for our sorority girls in college. They all have their Greek letters on them. That’s how I knew about them before Disney
I was about to comment the same thing! I saw tons of sorority girls wearing them in college.
I had ordered one with my college graduation gown “ pack “ where you get the ring, the t shirt and the jersey with your grad year on them.
Yes this! When I was in college around 2012 they were very popular with sororities, and it was when the style was yoga pants and a shirt/top that covered your butt lol
College in late 90s and totally had one with my sorority letters on it. Still have it stored somewhere...and yes, they are so not flattering 😂

Well, Tyler -- that's another reason to go to Disneyland! FREE water bottle refill stations! :)

Needed this little escape from reality today. My husband is deployed and I am just ready for him to be HOME! love you guysss it was a fun episode!!
Thank you to your husband for his service! 💓
Prayers for his safe return home
Completely agree on the water bottle filling stations! Even going into the quick service locations to get a cup of water is a waste. Have them in there too!
The Grand Floridian was so magical to me as a child and I don’t want to re-see it as an adult and be disappointed 😂
Booked a trip to Punta Cana through People Movers Travel and couldn’t have been happier with my experience! 😊
Tyler's take about Carousel of Progress was so hot that Jessica almost panicked initially 🤣
I think spirit jerseys are an 80s/90s throwback comeback
Even the temporary space setup is great! cozy and easy to view
I just love y'all! Don't give a flip about Disney aside from movies and one trip in the 90's but y'all are so great together. You are so suited for each other

Dole Whip Slander?!?! Idk if we can be friends anymore! (Jk, obvs, but….)
i’m a huge Pin collector, i don’t trade cause it’s not worth it. but the hunt to find new characters i dont have in my collection yet? oh man it’s a big layer of my trip each time
I don’t know if it’s because I’ve never been to Disney until my adult life, but I love characters. Also I love my spirit jerseys with leggings . My go too comfy outfit ! lol
The water bottle refill station thing is a FL thing, so I'm not so sure it's about money. We have them all over Disneyland. It could have something to do with the FL water, bc its exceptionally BAD.
Used a lightning lane for Peter Pan, and it stopped TWICE while we were on it! I couldn’t imagine waiting for two hours and then having that happen!
Agree about most of these! HOWEVER, you cannot beat a Dole Whip while waiting to enter the Tiki Room! It just hits different! But maybe no Tiki Room in WDW? Disneyland is my home park.
1000000% agree on the water bottles sitch!!
I love Figment, but I can actually remember the old ride and it was my favorite when I went as a kid. The current ride does not compare at all.. Like it's okay, and I ride it every time I go, but I will forever miss the original.

I almost ALWAYS skip the country bear jamboree 😂
The lack of water bottle stations bothers me as well! Universal/Islands has them all over the place.
Love the Country Bears. Haven't seen it for many years, but as a teen going with my parents, it was a favorite of my dad's. I've always liked the Tiki room.

So curious about the Egypt trip! Nothing has been said 😂
I would love to see an episode of Disney Conspiracy Theories 😂 something is sketch about that "renovation"
Spirit jerseys = sorority days cerca 2011-2013 specifically
Sunshine Seasons in Epcot (in the Land pavilion) has a really good quick serve breakfast! I definitely recommend trying it!
We need more podcasts!
Totally agree with Tyler about the water bottles. Irks me too!
This episode 👩🍳 😘 (chef’s kiss) Loved it! Laughed so much!!
Episode idea incoming.... "If you have only ONE DAY in x park..." Maybe plan out the perfect day!
Spirit jerseys are sorority shirts from the early 2010s lol
I love spirit jerseys because I have a big chest and a smaller waist so I think they look great on me lol 🤷🏼♀️
I love the arguments 😂 like no Tyler I will fight you
28:10 100% agree on Tron. We did get to ride in the front row and both felt like we were in the promo shots which was awesome
I see Spirit Jerseys in a lot of places we've traveled. I have a small collection of them, andcI agree they are made for comfort.
I live in the Phx area in AZ and we have a water park that serves Dole Whip so we do get it there since it really hits the spot when you are in 110+ weather. But I totally agree! On our last trip in July, no one in our whole family got Dole Whip or a Mickey Bar.
YES I'm with Tyler on the water bottle thing!!!!

I’ll never understand why the most popular shirt at Disney is a long shirt when it is so hot in Florida and California for most of the year
Awe poor Tyler he so upset over the water bottles. I mean, he's not wrong
I so agree with him!
Spirit jerseys were huge when I was in college starting in 2013
I’ve never heard of the trading pens thing
Loved loved loved this episode. !!! Don't stop 😊. Go Tyler get those water bottle fillers And yes Jessica those spirit jerseys. 2:44 Only a Disney fan would spend a ton of money on something that doesn't look good on anyone 🤪❤️ and yes I have some. 😂
You can get free cups of ice water anywhere in Disney! I never pay for water there.
The bakery in France is open for breakfast in Epcot.
Peter Pan has so much blank space! Could be so much better. I do love it and the concept but they need to add to it to make it more detailed
Spirit jerseys are big in gift shops in the beach town I live in.
I agree with Jessica - Jungle Cruise is not my fav, but my fiancé says the same thing Tyler says, he likes it and says that it's all about the skipper!
about the breakfast. TRY FINDING A FN BANANA in ALL magic kingdom!! IMPOSSIBLE lol...funny that its a KIDS PARK and you can't find a banana!!!!!! lol
Are you gonna do a vlog about your trip to Egypt? PLEASE!!
Wait I love how there’s a little feist and spice in this video talkin about these scorching takes 🌶️🌶️🌶️
😂
HS has Hollywood & Vine for sit down breakfast, Cheyenne with People Mover reserved it for my trip last month and it wasn’t bad.
spirit jerseys were popular like 10 years ago in sororities, not anymore though, it's overdone now.
Peter Pan has a low rider compacity compared to the other rides.
You forgot your mug shots!
Loved this episode! So fun !
Love you guys!!! Love the new set up!!!
PREACH TYLER! I need you to know that we went to the beautiful Biltmore Estate in September and the gift shop had Biltmore Spirit Jerseys and Loungeflys 😂😭.
On my last trip, I had a banana and some babybel for breakfast in MK. Which, while yummy, I wish there was another option lol
Oh my son has celiac disease and it was almost impossible to find him gluten free on the go
I’ve heard that Peter Pan just has the lowest capacity and that’s why it takes so long. So it doesn’t get the guests through nearly as fast as others.
Carousel of progress is perfect the way it is!!🥹
I love the Country Bears, but they really have to fix the sound quality. Many people miss all the jokes because of the terrible sound. Also, the bears' accents, which I love, can be difficult to follow if you are not a native speaker. The unclear sound just compounds the issue for non-native speakers. My 5 year old split a swirl dole whip with me and we both absolutely loved it! She didn’t like her mickey bar though, she said it was too sugary lol
I think for the amount of money you have to spend to go there, things shouldn’t look so dated. 100% agreed on Peter Pan!
Here we go!
HAPPILY EVER AFTER FOR LIFEEEEE ❤❤😂
Tyler’s Tepid Takes… 🤣
And also didn’t they take away plastic straws so why can they have plastic bottles of water.
As much as I love carousal of progress , some things need to be updated and and maybe make the gap longer
More breakfast options pleaseeee 😊
&& water bottle refill stations 💦
The cost of food $60-70 for and adult breakfast meal is B to the S
Disney is the definition of greed
How to restore Disney to greatness again? EWGB
Am I the only one who had never heard the word tepid before?
Tron was a little underwhelming. I think if it would have come out 7-8 years ago it would have been much more impressive.
I agree. With most of these except enchantment HEA soundtrack is 1000x better.
