    I grew an heirloom herb this Summer called Celery Leaf, it looks just like cilantro but tastes and smells just like celery. I absolutely loved it, dehydrated lots to put into my stuffing and stews. Think you might like it too!

    Just got a HUGE paper grocery bag full of celery, 8 whole plants. I will be dehydrating it all over the next day or two. Thanks for the refresher.

    I like to dehydrate celery cut up in bite size pieces to throw in soup, I was blessed with quite a few packages of celery, when dried I got 2 quarts of dehydrated celery... I like your idea too!

    Can you eat the dried sticks just as they are? Just wondering if it would make a good snack.

    What if you don't have a dehydrater what can you use?

    • @BroussardHomestead
      @BroussardHomestead  4 года назад

      A “solar dehydrator” is an easy build that uses heat from the sun. We don’t have one but plans are just a quick web search away.

    Did you blanch the celery?

  • @builtontherockhomestead9390
    @builtontherockhomestead9390 4 года назад

    I'd freeze that celery and later use to make broth.
