This is a fine reminder;; I've got to make more iterations of stuff before finishing up concepts. Sometimes it happens that you like the first idea and don't put that much effort into others, which is a folly for many of us. But it's necessary especially when testing other attributes of a concept that can reflect multiple ideas you later have to blend more harmoniously in the final final version.

Under iteration, does it include thumbnails, storyboards, a scripting?

Yeah those are part of iteration for sure, but they are more part of the sketching phase in my workflow
