This reminds me of the late sixties/early seventies when my wife and I would go to smokey little coffee houses or jazz nightclubs and dance away the night. We so enjoyed the music and I cherish the memories. She's gone now but will never be forgotten. Thank you for the music and the memories.

So the day is Wednesday - 12 - 2019, I just got a job offer from my dream job, after so many applies , tiring job searches I finally got my wish come true . The morning felt like a rosy flower, I grabbed my book, wear my boots and jacket. I am now sipping my cup of Coffee sitting next to a big glass of window. It started snowing. The world has gone to a pure white cotton. Its all white and I can see beautiful shimmering Christmas trees and lights everywhere. I feel so blessed and beautiful. I hope 2020 is a year of prosperity and love to everyone. Merry Christmas guys !

I play this every Friday before my students test. Surely, it does make a difference. It warms my heart hearing them humming the tunes on the days I don't play it. It definitely makes my day go smoothly.
I teach 3rd grade and their so quiet when this is on and they actually complete their work.
It has happened in my class also. Trust me when I tell you my Lil Angels are very close to Welcome Back Kotter's "Sweathogs."

That's exactly how I feel my brother. I grew up on 80's and 90's heavy metal and Alternative rock, it took me the longest time to really appreciate other types of music even when I was being forced, on occasions, to listen to music I didn't really care for. I worked with this old dude when I was in my late teens and we rode to work together, often over 30 minutes travel time. He played this kind of music and classics from the 50's and 60's ( "If I had a Hammer" type stuff)that I absolutely hated at the time. Now I'm as old as that dude was and here we are, listening to a much more relaxed music instead head banging.

I've never been a fan of jazz music but there's something about growing up where you just realize how good things really are if you give them a chance.
Music is life. Some people don't like it, and that's fine. But if you like it, then you get this feeling. Wether you're listening to Jazz, Hip-hop, Metal Rock, its all so good to listen to. Jazz specifically, gives you this feeling of relaxation. Or like a feeling of being cozy. It's just too good not to listen to.

Tuesday June 24th. 2020 just after 3 P.M. here in Fukuoka, Japan, The temp. Is33.5 C(elcius) and it’s ‘muggy’ (about 50%), too. Anything less like ‘cool’ seems to be hard to imagine, but, I recently (about an hour ago)I ‘stumbled’ upon this nice “Cool Jazz” channel and immediately signed up. And, which I VERY seldom do, I felt like writing a comment, so, here it is, when I was too young to go to clubs, we went to a “Coffee House” to listen to this kind of ‘far out’ Jazz. Now it comes to me on my iPad, in my ‘pad’. Well, what else can you expect from an ‘old geezer’ (I’m 77 years old), and this is “like a breath of fresh air’. Keep it coming, please. Thanks, Gary, 🧸
I am planning my lessons right now whilst listening to this lovely sound of jazz piano. My students enjoy my lessons. I often put music like this at low volume in the classroom, especially when they are doing a test....They always start laughing, then...they are fully focus on their work. Gabrielle Capes you ruined this whole video for me, I'm stoned out of my mind and was jamming. I read your comment and instantly stopped bobbing my head and tapping my left hand on my right thigh. You're comment immediately made me hate what I was hearing. I started to question all music I listen to on this level. The conclusion was made that all tunes could be used as "on hold" songs, thus entailing that all songs are quite boring. I'm happy that I have shared this moment of enlightenment with you, and wish that one day, we may discuss matters of deeper knowledge of music and arts on a level of infinite endings on a greater level and indulge on a great quest of the mind.
