It's the Holy Spirit talking through you to ppl that you don't even know and making a huge difference in their lives. I agree with you on the words and phrases we say. I was blessed to be brought up in a Christian home. I can remember my parents telling me to be careful about what I read, shows I wanted to watch, and even games I wanted to play. I appreciated it, and they didn't say "because I said so." They always referred to the Bible. But when I really began to appreciate the teachings and guidance was qhen I had my own children. When my boys were in elementary and Jr High, their were several card games that were popular. We spent money on them. Then we noticed a big difference in our boys' actions and attitudes. We did more research on the games and sat them down to talk. We explained what we had noticed about them and, like my parents, proved it with scripture. We immediately threw the games away. We didn't donate them, nor give them to friends. They were thrown out. Immediately, there was a difference in our household. Momma always said, "Don't let Satan get a toe in your house!" She was so right. You are right in listrning to the Holy Spirit. That is the still, small voice that God has given us.
I love this! Yes, I had to do the same. I threw out Harry Potter books...I may take them to Goodwill. But some things I knew the boys had or I had, I threw them away. Like they may had a few Pokemon cards from friends or Happy Meals....I am not sure where my youngest got them from, and I threw them away. His wand is from the Great Wolf Lounge. I found out about so many things later in life that just didn't work out, and it was for our good. My children are good! My oldest was trying his hardest to get into a fraternity, and it worked out for his good. Now that I know! I was told growing up that you shouldn't, but I never knew why. So, it became a norm to want to join one. It was awesome that you were taught the reason behind it! Thanks so much for watching, and such a wonderful comment! Have a blessed week!

Girl, Wait until the kids are GROWN and you have the house to yourself you'll be like me walking around empty the house , wondering what to clean.
