never stop chasing! your footage has been a major inspiration to me, i've been planning to hit the '24 season because of people such as yourself. i'm so sorry about the toyota, but the forester was a fantastic choice! i genuinely don't think there's a better car for this, (other than a TIV, lol!) we love you man, keep chasing your dreams!
I think that your accident was a reminder to not let your frustration get the best of you, and to remember no footage is worth it if you're dead. You can capture INCREDIBLE footage by keeping your distance, chasing from behind and chasing safely. Keep up the awesome, safe chases.
I was gonna get mad about the humor you put into this video, but then I realized it was subtle enough to be 100% appropriate. You do an excellent job and keep up the good work 👍.
I like how you say "I will never stop STORM chasing" because you, and everyone that watches your videos, know(s) "never stop chasing" is already a really famous quote from a really famous chaser.....
Good call on the Subaru! I mentioned exactly the same disadvantages on my "Storm Chasing In A Prius" video. I had a choice between the Prius V and the Toyota FJ and I went with the Prius to save on gas. I ended up losing a ton of opportunities back in 2021 because of low clearance and getting stuck in the mud. Had a great time chasing this year in the AWD lifted Sienna. I'm still pretty skittish out there but gradually getting more nerve as I got closer to the action this year. Thank you for allowing me to use a screen cap of your totaled Prius in my video! Good luck out there and stay safe. Always keep chasing!
Good going Chris. Enjoyed this video a lot. I hear chasers talk about RFD all the time but have never "seen" it like you showed and that was extremely helpful. Great photography and time lapse on that segment. Stay safe.......will be watching.
That Spalding tornado is one Reed got inside of and has some amazing livestream footage from. Nice video Chris! Glad to see you back out in the field. Stay safe! June ajd July are going to be crazyyyyyy thanks to El Niño.
My Subaru has been great to me! 2017 crosstrek with 291k miles on it and I got it brand new. Decent on gas mileage and the awd with my falken wildpeaks has gotten me through some sketchy backroads! I’m up in foco and I’ve seen your “red dot” out on some local chases haha! Maybe I’ll run into you out there some day! Solid video!
On his last video that his car got destroyed, he was probably mesmerized with all the anger because he didn’t get to see the tornadoes, and made some pretty foolish decisions. It’s not because he wants to get good pictures and fame.
ironically my 2007 Subaru forester's head gasket exploded just yesterday!. I had it for a year and had specifically picked out that year and got it without the turbo to try and steer clear of those issues, but alas the head gasket curse still got me. I hope you have better luck with it than me. It's a very nice car to chase in while it works, but I'm telling you, there's a chance you won't get a warning before the engine decides to self detonate. Treat her nice while you got her!
esse título parece que está fazendo referecia ao lema do Dr. Reed timmer "Never stop chasing". é isso ? eu sou fan do seu canal Chris, assistindo daqui direto do Rio de Janeiro, Brasil 😁👍
So glad I found your channel again. I don't know why but I feel targeted because I'm constantly having to re-subscribe to multiple channels with many repeatedly. Stay safe. Dave Milton New Hampshire
acouple things i want to say to keep you car prepared it get a bottle of radiator stop leak and some spare coolant it might save you life if you head gasket goes pow (which subie motors are known for) and obviously fix that leak to reduce the chance of you starving you engine of oil of getting water in the oil also i would consider lowering your car to reduce the chance of rollovers also if it is auto make sure the engine is revving out or consider manual swapping and learning how to drive manual fast so you dont loose power through the auto trans
It’s possible we drove past each other my team is called storm busters and we’re quickly becoming a known team we ended up with 21-22 tornadoes in 3 weeks of chasing and like a week of that was dead we were on the uehling ef2 Pds storm hopefully to see you on the field next year
I find it funny that the storm targetted you just because you took your hat back lmao Anyway, joke aside these videos are really cool, I would love to storm chase at least once on my life jist for the experience it.
I was going to recommend Subaru there safety ratings are really good after my house burnt down i was still able to drive out my 01 sti melted body and all on its own power 😅
@highriskchris oh yeah she's still crispy makes for a great show car I even took it to the Subaru dealership and they were stumped because the wiring harness was partially melted to the frame of the car
Alr so this dude goes inside an ef0 no problems Starts punching an ef1 still no problems Challenges an ef2 to a run competition Survives inside an ef3 with a small and simple car .... Is he gonna stop with bare hands an ef4 and scare away an ef5? I'm worried for the tornadoes cuz we all know Chris won't stop
Don't expect to chase in Tulsa, we miss out on everything 90% of the time, all north, east, west and south of us almost every year (they tend to draw the line on Tulsa always), it's combination of low elevation, geographical location in reference to everything else, timing, and luck.
Woah you saw the storm's buttcheeks.
😂
@@noorainjanbasha4657 the really good video o the rfd
AYO💀💀💀

The legend is back and ready to get back to it, I got chills when I saw this!

Thank you Skaarff, that means a lot I truly appreciate it.

Wow. Really great footage. You really go above and beyond with the alternate camera views, like the hyperlapse videos and wide angles. Well done.
I was gonna get mad about the humor you put into this video, but then I realized it was subtle enough to be 100% appropriate. You do an excellent job and keep up the good work 👍.

@Maplesugartoast hahaha!
@DakotaTNWX0330ahh yes hecos pank
I’m kinda new to the channel so I didn’t really know that was a famous quote
So glad to see you out chasing again! Beautiful video, the footage and editing is top-tier! Honestly you're super underrated.
Give him some time. He is got. But please be carefull and do crazy things like you are doing

That was insane. It was like a dream from a different world.

@@highriskchris haha for sure will do! Safe travels and chasing out there. Hopefully later this week we will get some high plains chasing in!
@@travisnickeystorms looks like it. I'll post a video of I get something good yaha
@@highriskchris haha yeah same! 🤞
Great vid. I think an AWD with all terrain tires is essential for stormchasing.
~This is RIDICULOUS, I'm reserving 9th for myself 😁~
Entertaining video by the way! and you chose a Subie , seems to be a popular chase vehicle 😉
Hey! My forester was named Subie! If I didn’t give her back to my dad I probably would’ve ended up chasing some tornadoes with her too
Congratulations on your new vehicle dude! God is always with us.
[Insert headgasket and catastropic engine fault memes here] Well, good luck with that Subaru! You're going to need it.
SIR DO NOT TOTAL THE SUBARU
Your time lapses are beautiful!
Beautiful video, beautiful lightning shots! Stay safe.
Glad you found someone to chase with, always great to have a 2nd pair of eyes and head to make good decisions.
Yeah Kansas on the 12th was awesome! Only got 1 for sure, but it was a gorgeous one! One of the best looking one's of the day!
So glad ur back at it and let me say seein the storm as u stayed ahead of it then from behind …. That was cool
**the storm was pissed off and came right for me**
Meme Of The Day.
Thanks for emphasizing safety.
Surprised less people have viewed it ! Excellent vid 👌🌪
Glad to see you being more positive, compare to your previous vid. I'll keep binge watching the rest of your vidéos :D
"for some reason the storm wanted my hat"
See, you don't have to risk your life to get great shots. Fun to watch. Beautiful.
On his last video that his car got destroyed, he was probably mesmerized with all the anger because he didn’t get to see the tornadoes, and made some pretty foolish decisions. It’s not because he wants to get good pictures and fame.
Prius + Tornado = Darwinism. Best of luck to you.
Wow just amazing footage. Great job. 😮. Stay safe and keep chasing , looking forward to following you.
Legend of tornados back at it again! keep up the good work dude!

By sound of your voice during that wimpy F3 ....you was all most convinced that ol wimpy all most had you...👍👍👍
Wimpy f3, okay bud
Glad to see that you dug yourself out of the hole and got back out into the plains man!
That was a great video! Excellent quality audio. 💯 Subbed! Can you link the mic your using?
Bro said "A measly little EF3" watch Mother Nature take that personally
Your from Denver too?! Nice! Can't wait to move back! Or go back to the springs!

Nice work! Great way to come back on the rebound and crush it!
Great stuff! The time lapse footage was spectacular
Glad to see your name isn’t low risk Chris yet :) never change
My man will never die!
It's cool how we both live in Colorado!
I respect you for getting back on the horse.
The EF3 did you a favor on that Prius :P
Excellent narration 👍
Fantastic footage, and good job staying safe!
I like how he changed the video title to "Should I Stop Storm Chasing?" to "Low Risk Chris" LOL
Edit: He now changed it to "Man VS Tornado"
The storm : *takes hat*
Him : *retrieves it*
The storm : Heyyy thats my hat!
Now you got this new ride are you gonna add any suspension upgrades or maybe an exoskeleton on the body to keep you protected
im from CO and i live currently in Nebraska you where in both of my homes in one video!
Nice to know that someone likes tornados and lives in Colorado ♡︎

Thanks for the tips. I'm keeping a close eye on the oil level, the car has been running great.
Big question, how would one become a storm chaser, and is it an actual job? I've wondered this since I first started watching you. XD
For most it’s a hobby
so glad you're back!!
That’s what I usually do. I usually wait for the right time to pounce too
Another great video 🌪🌪
Thank you for sharing
Hello wait is it summer or spring ?😮

He's so bad he can chase on foot, we get tornado warnings, tornadoes get Chris warnings.
I think the truck will be better for storm-chasing than the Prius?
Careful with oil I lost a car recently for the same keep your eye on it
Yeah I am watching it very closely
This is the true tornado guy
