I've been watching and commenting since the OG vidoes came out and it clear to see why this podcast is doing well. Its honest informative and a good craic. Great episode about these beautiful whiskies. Love the 10 cs. Found a batch 1 of it recently for a great price in a small shop in my neighbourhood. Visited the distillery 2 years ago. Remember walking on foot through the snow from the distillery to the Mash Tun in Aberlour. Great memories.

Just a thought regarding running through these flights. I find it difficult having really enjoyed a cask strength dram (regardless of age) and then trying Whisky at 46% thereafter.
Maybe this is why Stevie felt the way he did initially regarding the 15 yr old.

If I remember correctly, I've always had a preference for the 12 over the 15. It is also about half the price.

@TheWhiskyBaron Finally got round to opening the Fino. What can I say. I only have around 30 bottles in my collection, but this just picked up an Ooooosh. You could easily introduce a non whisky drinker to this. A lovely dram !

Awesome ep as usual. When Jake takes the piss out of Ian not meeting Billy is pure comedy 🤣I only had the 15 but definitely need to try a single cask/cask strength one for sure! Also, did you guys notice that the more drams you drink the more you swear, so it's progressively getting worse. (Not that I mind) 😅🤣

brilliant content very funny taking the piss out of Ian, and, brilliant whisky, I have them all just trying to get the elusive Turbo. I'm sure it tasted so much better in Glenallachie and when sitting next to Billy, not that Ian will know!
Got my hands on one at a decent price at the festival in Limburg last weekend.
Watch out, they're are being overpriced. Should be a €60 bottle, don't be fooled by €250 pricing.

I’m looking forward to his own juice in the (non-peated) bottle. Got a couple of the 10s in the last few years and quite liked them but the 15 was a whisky that changed my outlook- I hated it as it was so sweet and has kept me away from PX mostly since.
definitely looking forward to the Billy Walker distillation era of GA hitting the shelves! don't write the 15 off just yet though Andrew

Glenallachie was my favorite whisky early on. (ca 2019) The Cask strenght 10 yo batch 6, 7, 8, and 9 I have on my shelf. I enjoyed a glas of smws Delish (39.290) while watching this. Maybe I should have opened a Glenallachie ;)
When I'm watching Stevie I have the urge to roll on my back, screaming "ahhhhh" while emptying my handgun into the sky 😂

I reckon Instead of adding E150 distilleries should just start adding gelatin to please Stevie’s palate.
Glenallachie is class, 10CS always a great dram, single casks quite hit a miss in my opinion and can be quite hot and unbalanced. The peated stuff they’re doing is fascinating though, another 5 years or so and it might be the peated distillery everyone talks about.
you might be onto something there! I personally think the MT is already near it's peak though, we just need more of it!
