Just two more external mods for the final look of the ZLE.. I can't wait. Also.. the Camry engine refresh will start soon ;) I'm excited for that one. If you enjoyed, drop a *LIKE* . Thanks!
Hi Women.Driven, I am a teen and I am in love with cars I want to own a Camaro Zl1 1le Your videos are the ones that are getting me through this rough quarantine time,I also wish to be a mechanic when I'm older. Camaro looks mean with that splitter Keep up the good work 👍👍
Hey! Glad I can help in some way. We're all trying to make the best of it. Good choice of a trade, you'll love it. Always something new to learn and then things become easy, until they don't lol. Thanks for watching!
I have a 2018 ZLE and even with the stock front splitter (which is already pretty aggressive), I have to be VERY cognizant of approach angles for almost all parking lots/driveways. Car Carriers/Rollback/trailers offer an additional set of challenges. While I can appreciate the cosmetic/performance improvement the APR unit offers, I can't imagine trying to navigate those same obstacles with the additional 5" lip extension and 2"+ clearance reduction involved with this splitter. I wish you the best of luck (and I hope I'm wrong), but I foresee damaged carbon-fiber and much frustration in your future. Good luck and keep up the ZL1 content (I'm anxiously waiting for you to do a cam-install on the Camaro).
This is a great installation. I’m always so impressed with your mechanical inclination, out of the box creativity. Are you considering a front camera to guard against scraping the front chin splitter?
I think those rods look more bad ass the way you have them connected than how I usually see them. As usual you go above and beyond. Keep up the good work Doris.
Splitter looks freakin awesome! I think you made the right choice leaving the support rods that color. I like that look too. Excited to see what the new rear wing will look like. The Camaro is really starting to look like a true road racer. Sounded like it was a big job but you weren't afraid to at least try it. Glad Chris and your neighbor were around to lend a hand. Great video Doris!
4:13 the regular ZL1 has those too. Took me forever to get them back on correctly because I just kind of tossed them to the side when I replaced a damaged OEM splitter and couldn't figure out the orientation.
Okay.. I wasn't sure. I suspected as I doubt they would change too much between the two. I had to look at my own video to get the proper placement lol.
It's nice to have a neighbor willing to help. Wow that did that turn into a project, but you are correct, it does look stunning. I agree on the rods, keep em, it adds a nice contrast.
I agree the bare metal color of the support rods looks better..was surprised that you didn't paint the crash plate a flat black to kind of hide it or to blend in with the over all color theme.. but as usual everything you do looks great and has a lot of thought behiend it
Looks really good Doris, Good job! Don't think I've ever seen you this exhausted from a project but this one looked like it took a toll. Note to self" if i own a Camaro and want to add a splitter..have someone else do it" lol. :)
It was! So much work for this.. but I choose to do things different which increased the difficulty lol. Yup.. have someone else fight it..unless you want to :)
Loved the video I had ordered my APR splitter a few weeks ago just been waiting for the freight truck to deliver it so it really made it more anxious to get it. Mine is going on my Roush Mustang so I’ll have to go back and watch your GT350 install.
WOW! That looks amazing! I think keeping the support rods color is perfect and where you mounted them looks awesome. I have a 50th anniversary convertible, now i want a ZLE too!
WOW that was a lot of work Doris! It looks great though. Once you add that big wing it's going to look fantastic. I guess i've really come around on the Camaro LOL.
Hi Doris! Wow that was definitely in depth and involved. But it turned out great. It definitely has that aggressive look. I like the contrast it gives. Awesome work!
Hi Doris, love what your doing with the Camaro, I have a 16’ ss myself, and was wondering what color would look good to contrast the body build I have the same color as your ZL1, I don’t want to fully wrap it, just a little here and there , but I don’t know what color to go with. Thank you,and any comments welcomed.✌🏼✊🏼
I just installed my splitter last week lol, it is a big pain but looks so much more aggressive afterwards 😋 You went the extra distance though and drilled all the holes for the fender liners i just tucked them into the splitter since it is the flat underside now and kind of took thier place.
You did a great job on the splitter, it looks sick, I would leave the support brackets/bars the original color as well, I think it looks better that way too. It was my birthday yesterday on May 6th, can I get a happy birthday from you too 😁🤞. Love the video, keep up the great work.
Yes, go side ways and slow. Don't want to be fast and rough and damage it. You said you could raise it back up if needed. Can't wait to see the changes you make to the back end. I always say that you need to balance out the front with the back to have the right proportions. I think you'll have just the right poise and aggressive look you want.
Great job as always, you are so knowledgeable when working on your cars. Very few women would even try want you do with your cars. Now you can really enjoy your cars. Be Safe.
HAAAY GIRRL. I know that's not too original but that's my best pick up line...haha.👍 Don't know how you have the patience to be messing with all of those clips..the work looks good ,cant wait to see what yall do to the back.
haha.. HAYY! I have patience, but aero additions like these run them thin haha.. only because you want it on right, if not, there goes your bumper and a problem down the road lol. The next two mods should be very easy.. hopefully. Thanks for watching!
🔥 that looks so aggressive now. I like the generation poster. Will wait for the m3 one, as I am a hugh fan of BMWs. Also I must commend you upon the innovative use of you magnectic pans and sticking them to the swing arm of your hoist, so your bolts for the LHS and RHS are organized. 👌 nice work
I will update on IG or YT when I have the M3 one. That is a little difficult as the E30 and the E90x don't share the same lines lol. So I have to plan the break between the generations :). Yes... the magnetic pan is very useful for that. Cheers!
Damn, I wish I had a lift. Inused to work on my mustangs, but I got very sick 10 years ago and became disabled, I am a disabled vet. I tried to keep working on my foxbody mustang, but over time my body is getting worse. Trying to work on the car on jacks was impossible. For the first time in 10 years my garage is empty. I had to sell my baby a couple weeks ago, because I couldn't finish it. I basically built it from the ground up. Last thing I did was finally put the heads on and was starting to adjust the new roller rockers, but that was it. I want to find a house with an unattached garage and put a lift in it. I think I could do some work on a car with a lift. Love your videos, they are awesome. Very rare to have a woman interested in cars like you are. My ex wife did nothing but cry and moan about my hobby.
Wow Doris that APR Performance spliter looks awesome under the front bumper of your Camaro ZL1 1LE & here's what I think that your Camaro ZL1 1LE is telling you. 2019 Camaro ZL1 1LE: Hey Doris. Doris: Yeah ZL1 1LE?? 2019 Camaro ZL1 1LE: I shouldn't have to put up with being cooped up in the garage I'm a precession instrument of speed & aerodynamics. Doris: What?? 2019 Camaro ZL1 1LE: I'm your very famous project car, show car & drag car!! Doris I can't wait to see what you've got planned for your next video. P.S. I love your channel, your videos & most of all your smile & your laugh take care Doris.
haha.. turns out.. it's been the best performer yet ;).. I can't wait to take it out and enjoy all of them again. Thanks for the kind words! Take care!
I like the splitter but the support rods I don't I would make them matte black ,also next time buy a opaque pipe marker in white .It's a big help in making stuff and wipes right off.Stay safe
You have some amazing vehicles. I love all the mods you make to them. You are all over it Doris you have great taste in cars. Keep those videos coming.
Doris, great new look, you always knock it out of the park, exceptionally well, and especially with your godly characteristic traits, always fulfilling, extremely driven ,extraordinarily motivated every single time for a very specific thing , you go above and beyond, very focused with great confidence ,and your abilities are endless, your inner positive drive to set goals and to ensure you get the job done on time, you truly meet and exceed your expectations, you demonstrate a consistent ,a spiritual fulfillment , supper nice.Thank you for your existing, you bring joy to the world.take care
Thank you. I have the mustang one already.. the corvette is taking some time.. many changes at it as sooo many generations lol. So finding the right flow of lines is challenging because the 1st gen looks so vastly different.
Hi Doris, I never thought of a front splitter taking you that long to install, that's crazy how the company didn't added the holes, but you did another amazing job. Now the car looks like an angry vampire about to attack, with those angry eyes and those fangs, wow it looks so angry and aggressive, I really do love it. Thank you for another great video, take care and have a bless day !!! 👋🙂❤⭐
Genuinely great install! Lining up the support angle with the outer edge of the lower grill make this car unique! Could you post a short video of the front of the car back about 30 ft? Like someone's looking in the rear view mirror and wondering if it's time to Get Out of the Way!!
Thank you! It turned out great. We tested a bunch of different positions and that worked out the best. It provided the best clearance for the grill and the bumper. That's a great idea.. Let's see how I can do that one lol
In the pictures, from front to back, they are all in order from 1st gen to 6th. Order is 68 SS, 76, 91 Z28, 02 SS, Z28 13, and the last one is a 19ZL1 I love this giveaway cause I have a 13 Camaro, and my dad has a 69 SS, my uncle has a 76 Z28 so I kinda know this lol very nice video though.
I like to mod my cars, motorcycles, guns etc ! But you are the 1st woman I have seen that likes to modify more than men. I want a carbon fiber splitter and carnards, but the time, cost, and my daughter retriever and dads bull dog playing in our yard says not to do it. I have replaced one carnard already.
Just two more external mods for the final look of the ZLE.. I can't wait. Also.. the Camry engine refresh will start soon ;) I'm excited for that one. If you enjoyed, drop a *LIKE* . Thanks!

I think those rods look more bad ass the way you have them connected than how I usually see them. As usual you go above and beyond. Keep up the good work Doris.
Thank you, I appreciate it. I love the way it's connected. Provides a bit more rigidness. Thanks for watching!
Splitter looks freakin awesome! I think you made the right choice leaving the support rods that color. I like that look too. Excited to see what the new rear wing will look like. ZL1 looks amazing! Love the splitter

Nice! The splitter will look awesome. It really adds to the look. The one I have on my Mustang is not from APR. It's a FP350S splitter. Thank you!
If anyone dislikes your channel they are truly not s car enthusiasts....Amazing video as usual....Stay safe....👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
WOW! That looks amazing! I think keeping the support rods color is perfect and where you mounted them looks awesome. I have a 50th anniversary convertible, now i want a ZLE too!
Thanks 👍. I think it looks great where it sits. ZLE is a good choice.. yours is a collectible ;)
WOW that was a lot of work Doris! It looks great though. Once you add that big wing it's going to look fantastic. I guess i've really come around on the Camaro LOL.
That splitter really makes the ZL1 1LE look aggressive. Loved the video as always keep on doing what you do. Stay safe.
It really does. I love it. Thanks, will do.. and the same for you!
Love the look of the Camaro. That splitter made it look really mean!
Thank you, I appreciate it. I love it more.. so aggressive :)
Hi Doris! Wow that was definitely in depth and involved. But it turned out great. It definitely has that aggressive look. I like the contrast it gives. Awesome work!
Track monster alert! That splitter looks epic. Nice job putting it on!
Thank you, I appreciate that. I can't wait to try this out on track. Thanks for watching. Cheers!
Doris another spectacular install done by Women Driven with a little help from Cris! Great video and keep em coming and I’ll be watching!🐟
Thank you, I appreciate it. He and our neighbor helped a lot. Take care!
*why do i fall in love everytime i come back its that laugh*

I like the way you did support rods, It looks better like that. You got skills Amiga, I'm proud of you!
The splitter makes the car more aggressive love the new look
Beautiful car you are picking awesome mods keep up the good work
Hi Doris, love what your doing with the Camaro, I have a 16’ ss myself, and was wondering what color would look good to contrast the body build I have the same color as your ZL1, I don’t want to fully wrap it, just a little here and there , but I don’t know what color to go with. When setting up anything like this, always measure at least twice and drill or cut once! Can't go wrong! :)
Very true. we all measured twice to make sure lol. Cheers!
I just installed my splitter last week lol, it is a big pain but looks so much more aggressive afterwards 😋 You went the extra distance though and drilled all the holes for the fender liners i just tucked them into the splitter since it is the flat underside now and kind of took thier place.
Can we just admit she is Absolutely Gorgeous man
Looks great. Very aggressive but love it. Great work

You did a great job on the splitter, it looks sick, I would leave the support brackets/bars the original color as well, I think it looks better that way too. It was my birthday yesterday on May 6th, can I get a happy birthday from you too 😁🤞.

It absolutely did :)
Remarkable work on the ZL1!!!

Should've put some Knight rider lights across the crash bar :p nice one Doris, and nice one Chris the posters look great.
lol.. oh man that would have been funny. If my car was black ;) THnaks!
👌 nice work

@@woman.driven You too Doris you're so amazing & you're still an inspiration to me for working on cars of any make & model.
Where there’s a will, there’s a way. Great job on the splitter install.👍
The upgrade looks sick!
It really does.. your debut is coming up ;)
@@woman.driven Eeeek!!!! :)
I like the splitter but the support rods I don't I would make them matte black ,also next time buy a opaque pipe marker in white .It's a big help in making stuff and wipes right off.Stay safe
Awesome looks good and I would have put it in the same spots the crash beam probably would be stronger support for the splitter 👍
You have some amazing vehicles. I love all the mods you make to them. You are all over it Doris you have great taste in cars. Keep those videos coming.
Thank you I appreciate it. That's very kind of you to say. There are more mods and changes on the way :). Thanks for taking the time to watch. Cheers!

Thank you, I appreciate that. It was tough but 100% worth it. Thanks for watching. Cheers!
That illustration is nice. I want a Mustang and Corvette one for my garage.
Thank you. I have the mustang one already.. the corvette is taking some time.. many changes at it as sooo many generations lol. So finding the right flow of lines is challenging because the 1st gen looks so vastly different.
@@woman.driven I ordered mustang illustration/poster. Please let us know when you have corvette one, if you do that one.

The splitter looks badass! Unfortunately you lose the 5 mph collision protection when you had to leave off that bumper support. Great job!
Thanks! The way I see it, I hit something at 5mph, the bumper is getting cracked and destroyed. CHeers!
Genuinely great install! Lining up the support angle with the outer edge of the lower grill make this car unique! Could you post a short video of the front of the car back about 30 ft? Like someone's looking in the rear view mirror and wondering if it's time to Get Out of the Way!!

Really badass install.... good job..👍🏼
Good choice with leaving the support rods the way they are, I think they make the front bumper pop.
Thank you, I appreciate it. I love the location. It's different.
It looks amazing! Nice job!
As long as you like the look that's all that matters, I like it.
Agreed on the splitter supports. They draw the eyes in just enough to let you know “ZLE dont take no sh**.!” Lol. Love the color and placement.
haha.. as if it needed anymore of that look lol. I love it. Cheers!
Great video and good instructions!!!
Thank you, I appreciate it.
I've seen people paint the crash bar and/or radiator....you could do that..and the support rods too
The rods I'll likely leave.. I thought about painting it black.. we'll see how I feel about it.
That bumper looks spectacular! The ZL1 bumper turned out cool too.😂
Thank you, I appreciate it.
Great job!! How did u get started on auto mechanic s??
Nice tuff look!!
That looks awesome, great job 👍
Oh dorris, you alway manage to make me smile
i like the look, my question is will it help on the track or more cosmetic?
Thanks! It will help on the track. I wouldn't put this on if it was just cosmetic :)
I like seeing women take interest in her cars.
67 RS, 77 Z28, 87 Z28, 97 SS, 2014 Z28 & 2019 ZL1 1LE

Now the ZL1 looks like Bumblebee 👌🏻💯 with the Splitter on 😎
Let's take a shot at this:
1st car: 1968 Camaro SS
2nd car: 1970 Camaro Z28
3rd car: 1982 Camaro Z28
4th car: 2002 Camaro SS
5th car: 2010 Camaro Z28
6th car: 2016 Camaro ZL1 1LE
Gen303 Chevy did not make any Z28 in 2010. They brought it back for the 5th gen refresh in 14 and 15
Can’t wait to see the Camaro in action 😍
You and I both. It's been a long time.
YAYY! The only car I care for on your channel! ZL1 1LE FTW
👍😀
Doris, I find it helps to keep the screws in ziplock bags so they dont get lost (or use magnetic cups)
Yes, that works. The problem was some screws were longer than others. So that made it a bit more annoying.
Wow, you did it captain, nice job. Still looks aggressive.
Thank you, I appreciate it.
She is still the love of my life 🥰🥰🥰🤣 great video as always love it 😀
not every day you see somebody lovin a dodge chevy and a ford
;).. all three offer different things
Looks so aggressive and i love it 😍
I love it! Thanks!
Bumblebee would be so jealous 😂😂
Doris, you’ve got the most AGGRESSIVE Camaro I’ve ever seen! 🤩
Almost.. it's getting there. Just a few more touches :)
Nice work , waiting for the BMW
Thank you, I appreciate it.
Which one do you prefer the Camaro or Challenger?
Good job btw!
I like how detail you are

Thank you, I appreciate it.
