Damn nice spot to show us a lil bit more of what the truck has. "For those of you who ask for no music so you can hear the truck run I'm going to do that for you" talks the whole video..lmfao
I went to my local hobby shop in Ottawa, Ontario yesterday and they already had a silver Axial Scx6! I got a little running video and lots of pics until it seemed to had a flaw come forward with it slipping out of low and high gear under load for a short time. Not sure if it is the 15kg servo or if it has a servo saver or something on it? I LOVE my Axial RCs but I will never buy the first of a new scale of RC until the parts and aftermarket has caught up with it 👍 But it is absolutely beautiful!
We have one at our hobby store in BC and it was drivin and shifted in and out of low/high by multiple users and it never missed a shift. The end points may need to be readjusted after break in and the mount does flex a little.
Saw one in person today at my LHS and holy hell this things tires and shocks are downright impressive. Tires were way bigger than I expected, shocks are crazy firm
Wondering the same thing. Will this be the only 6th scale crawler? Will accessories and better parts be made available? I think it would be sweet if it gets a good aftermarket support
Can really hear the weight going over rocks as hits. Can't wait for my to get here. With the whole 4s thing, maybe volt up-gear down. Drop to the lowest pinion and run 4s?? I don't even have 4s batts, so I'm stoked to just run all the high capacity 3s I have for my Big Rock (broke and parts are REAL hard to find right now).
Enjoying your footage on this rig Tony... Axial really did this right, if ever there was a time for brushless sensored power to come in an RTR this is it, even the tyre and foam set up looks better than typical kits.. I'm sure folks appreciate its big but it will definitely be a "REAL" omg sense of size in person. Looking forward to picking one up... $1750 Aud for you guys not happy with $1100 Usd . Have a great weekend mate👍
@@CCxRC I have the SCX III GREY JLU RTR and two other crawlers. Would love to get one, and can afford it. I'm afraid I'd like it too much and kick my 1/10s under the bus.
Wish it was more affordable for the part time RC guy. The price tag offends my wallet lol. But like everything else, this hobby has really taken off the last few years.
@@CCxRC I'm in the metro detroit area but moving north soon. I've lived in michigan all my life. On the other hand, I can't wait to get my hands on one of those scx6's. I actually saw one in person today and I'm sold.
Jeep bodies are cool, but they're so top heavy. As big as that beast is, it still looks like it needs weight down low. You'll need a red wagon if the lipo quits. You won't be carrying that thing for long.
This platform gives me a hope they release a kit version... And then it's can it be turned into with some extra bits into a monster truck style crawler.. or a bomber style.
Great video, Tony. Nice to see some real-world capability!
Great Axial SCX6 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon RC Truck, fantastic technic information and amazing trail drive video. Thanks and Thumbs up. Greetings Andy.
thanks my friend
That’s a awesome place. When I lived in Michigan I wanted to go there but never did. This truck is awesome and can’t wait for mine
It’s a really cool place
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR NOT ADDING MUSIC
Perfect spot for that truck. That place looks so empty compared to how it was during the Great Lakes Gauntlet .
I'd like to see the shock oil lowered so the shocks work a bit better. A great rig for sure.
You read my mind on the music lol
Loving this truck and happy to see it on the rocks!
Yeah right on Tony, looking awesome out there, I knew you would like this place. Appreciate your sharing is always rock on
The more I see the more I like!!!!!

I feel like it could be geared down a tooth or even two. Especially with that two speed. Ive got a two speed in my crawler but i never use high gear.
It handles like a Headquake RC build
If that makes since
Ultra realistic
The extra weight helps. When everyone lightens it up, it won’t. Same as LMT.
SCX6 looked right at home on that trail.

I had tighten my slipper nut

It really is impressive in person
I drove one today.
Firm but still has a fair bit of torque twist.
Great work Tony. The truck looks amazing. Watching from Australia. Cheers
Keep up the great videos.
Great crawling👍. Especial for me is the music aspect very interesting. Never thought about it.
I enjoyed the video of the 6 rock crawling. Thanks.
Here's a comparison with a full-size counterpart, such as the TNT T-Rex Jeep JK (with 43 inch tires and a 121 inch stretched wheelbase).
Width: 86" / 14.88" = 5.78 scale
Length: 182" / 33.55" = 5.42 scale
Height: 81" / 14.55" = 5.57 scale
Wheelbase: 121" / 19.74" = 6.13 scale
Weight: 6000 lbs / 25 lbs = 6.21 scale
Tire height: 43.1" / 7.0" = 6.16 scale
Rim diameter: 20" / 3.2" = 6.25 scale
Yeah man the Beast 1000 would be awesome in there. Or it would flex out all the plastic parts in there.
That suspension looks insane! I really am liking these... just sceptical of the longevity of the platform

Fuark me that's expensive
This thing is insane..the servo definitely needs a little more.. The ecto in the background looks so small lol
That thing is sick Tony . Thanks for sharing 💪🍻
3:53 Great raw footage! Can it climb that stair?
Will the tires and wheels off of the ryft fit?
Awesome video.
WANT!!!!!👍🏽💯
Yup...It's (TOO-EXPENSIVE) for everyone,but... it takes (MONTHS),(DAYS),and (YEARS) to get one! ($1100.00!?!?!...) NOPE!
What weight shock oil comes in this?
soooo satisfying
A really nice course! It is not as difficult for the 1/6 as it is for the 1:10... Much easier... 😉
Right. But more difficult to come up
With a course 😂
I thought the scx6 was rated for 4s? Better to run 3s? Mine should arrive by wed, can't wait
Every time you say scx6 I think it would be a six x six lol 👌👍👊
Awesome
Definitely setting the bar at a high mark. What size rims are on it?
They are 2.9 rims
Wahooo 👍👍👍👍👍
Thats fire keep up bro
It's confusing, it's somewheres between dwarfing my rigs or sticking out like a sore thumb. Don't know if I'm ready to kick my 1/10s under the bus.
😂 it is big. Carrying it up stairs isn’t fun. But watching it on the trail is amazing

Needs portal axles
When I order freestyle rc axles does it come with 2 or do I have to pay almost a grand for 2 axles
It’s for 2
@@CCxRC thank god
😉👍
Awsome!
👍👍👍💯cool!!!!!
I didn't know you were from Michigan. Is it 3s or 4s max?👍
Just moved back here in August. Lived in Virginia for 17 years

Wait so is it a 6th scale then
Yes. It’s a 1/6 scale
The upgrades are going to cost me a fortune.
We just don't like it... We loved it!... And suddenly my wife is looking at me.🤨☺️

I carry a leash to tow my 1/6th scale when the batteries get low.
Drag brake makes it hard with these
I just looked up the price $1,100 wow rc are getting expensive 🤪
Wow you are ripping out the vids on this LOL
I’ve had it for a while and not allowed to release them, so I had a backlog. 😂
To Big and it cost to much !!!
Wish everyone would quit posting these damn videos..mine hasn't shipped yet....lol
