I was born in Munich, have visited three times so far. Bavaria is one of the most beautiful, friendly corners of the world. I am enjoying revisiting it vicariously with you, Bonnie.
I haven't explored beautiful Germany, must put it on my bucket list. The hot springs sound like a must do. Thanks for sharing Bonnie. Cheers from Australia
My favourite part of bavaria bonnie. Chitty Chitty bang bang was filmed in Rothenburg and the Neuschwanstein Castle in fussen , and also some of the scenes of the escapee,s from the movie The great escape , were filmed in and around fussen . Nice vlog.
What a nice ride with you thru Bavaria. I've been to a few of those villages, but not as scenic as the roads you traveled. I can just imagine the wunderbar smells of the countryside.
Hi David, I sold her when I got back, nice fast bike but too much sports than tourer for me. I think the 6 gear FJR may have been a better bet. Great machine but not ideal for me… Should have done a video before she went. Ill do one on her replacement ❤️
A beautiful part if the world. I lived in Germany for 26 years and loved it. I used to stop off in Rothenburg odT every winter on my way to and from ski holidays in Austria. It’s one of my favourite places. I still have a cuckoo clock that I bought there. By the way you stopped in Würzburg not Würzberg, burgs are castles, bergs are hills.
Thanks, Bonnie 💜 The stabalization of the front facing camera on the bike needs some work if possible. Your main cinematography is so good it makes it stick out.
Yes, thank you, you are right. I was using a cheap borrowed camera, as it was my first go but have taken the plunge with an Osmo 5, so hopefully the stabilisation will be better in the future.
Hello Bonnie, I have the impression that you didn't drive the heavy machine yourself....(...but were the pillion passenger..)... but your traveling cameraman, whose jacket and helmet can be clearly seen in the background at minute 23.40. It's not a bad thing if it's like that, but then you should communicate it that way. Best regards from Germany
Hi, thank you for the forensic analysis of my video! Of course you are entitled to express your doubts regarding my ability to ride a 'heavy machine' but your impressions are incorrect. You ARE correct that a fellow rider helped me with some of the filming (this was my first video with very limited equipment). Regards Bonnie
@@Bonnie-English Hi, I do what I can...;-)) Nevertheless, it would be very helpful for my forensic analysis, if you would put a video online, that clearly shows, that you are actually driving this motorcycle on the road and not just sitting relaxed on the bench. Greetings back
Hi David, big mistake on my part, and a real regret. I had so many places I wanted to visit and only 10 days. I wanted to have time for the Gerloss and Silvretta passes. I should have taken longer and definately stayed more nights in the fabulous Rothenburg. Got to go again and take it slower.
Nice video… looks like a great road to ride. Like the bobsleigh 😊

Thank you! I knew about the castle but not Rothenburg, now you mention it I can see the child catcher there!
@Bonnie-English I,m 57 and still have nightmares about the child catcher 😳
🤣🤣🤣

Thank you Daniel!❤️
I'd be very interested to see more of your motorcycle and your opinions on it overall.

She was really fast, but yes a bit heavy, had to be careful in places. Very different to my Bonneville at home ❤️

Thanks for the correction, I'm working on my German, getting better but slowly! 😀

@@Bonnie-English It's expensive to have all the best gear. I have a home recording studio as a hobby - that can eat up endless funds. I must resist 😀
"Resistance is useless"
@@Bonnie-English Sigh. Those motorized faders on the mixer that move on their own are just so cute! I had to have them.

Why did you take the autobahn from Rothenburg to Dinkelsbühl? Why not take the much nicer Romantische Straße?
