      Great camper! I hope to do something similar soon (just a little bigger so I can go around the world with some female companionship and we not be tripping all over each other.... maybe start with a box truck chassis designed for a 12 foot or longer box and build on that....

    My wife and I went to Anchorage a couple years ago and drove over to Girdwood and then went all the way down to Seward. The drive was AMAZING. We are coming back up there in January.....hopefully because we have already bought the tickets, pending COVID. We are checking it out to see if we can cut the January winter to see if we want to move up there or not.

      That is smart! Do you know when the Northern Light's put on their show? Or is it all of the time? I guess I could google it. Sorry! The sky does something similar in Marfa, TX. I guess we will have to go there and dream we are in Alaska until COVID is over and we can book our cruise again.

    • @stevenattaway
      @stevenattaway 4 года назад +1

      @@JackieHall71 So, it would be best to ask an Alaskan that lives up there, but from what I've read and heard is that you can go during certain times of the year, I believe December-March, to have a better chance, but since the Northern Lights are determined by when the sun sends out solar flares there is no way to say, "The Northern Lights will happen between these dates."
