- Do you know how to properly use your Ellipta Inhaler? Studies show only 1/3 of patients are using their inhalers correctly, 1/3 are performing adequately but not correct and 1/3 are using their inhalers incorrectly.

I was instructed to rinse my mouth twice to remove the medication because you could get a yeast infection or thrush inside your mouth.
Yes it's true. I am prone to it. But I take three drops of tea tree oil in 4 oz of water and I rinse my mouth and gargle then spit it gets rid of the thrust that day
It's also important to gargle after dosing. I really rinse well as many side affects are possible. But I have noticed an improvement with the medication.
Does anyone go to coughing really bad from inhaling the powder… I don’t even want to use it because of coughing so bad.

My mother takes thrush medication for this too. It's one side effect . That it's so good with oxygen you blooming micro biospheres quickly lol. Thank God for this mediation . My mother got diagnosed with cancer a week after covid . This medication is great for her . She's cancer free too

My doctor told me that after taking the dose I have to gargle and rinse because if the powder stays on your vocal cords it can cause damage your vocal cords. So I start to make my morning coffee and while it is brewing I take my dose. Then I gargle and rinse a couple of times and then drink my coffee. I am not taking any chances damaging my vocal cords because beside breathing, talking is the thing I love to do most!!!!

Just so you know Breo is a steroid- i got oneumonia 4 times in 2 minths and was in hospital- be careful

My doctor told me to always rinse my mouth with mouthwash after using the inhaler

@@heliumx3254 i just got this inhaler prescribed, they say wash your mouth out afterwards because if you dont it can cause oral thrush
@@Lei_Candies It depends on what type of medication you received. If it is a corticosteroid, you must always rinse your mouth after each use to prevent thrush
@@heliumx3254 I was always told to rinse afterwards. I’ve gotten oral thrush despite rinsing so I always have on hand Nystatin Oral Suspension 100,000 units per mL . You need a prescription. Oral thrush is so annoying. I don’t take chances of it growing out of control because it can spread down to your esophagus. are you supposed to breath only through your mouth because i feel as if when i inhale through both my nose and mouth it reaches different parts compared to when i inhale just through my mouth.
Pretty sure you want the medicine to go into your lungs and maybe not float around in other parts of your body?

Don't forget the rinsing your mouth part after every dose!
If she is using this for the purpose of instructions and it is critical to wash the mouth after use how come this part is not mention, I don’t get it. This could be critical for the health of the people using it. Do we need to wash the mouth or not. This shouldn’t be forgotten for for sake. I most say it is written in the box but people can forget.

The "Machine" costs a million, the med probably only a cent. That's 'add value' tactics in action, you silly! Point one, you can't see what you get for your zillion; two, almost half of the dose remains in your mouth, ie is unused; three, you can't controle nothing: the machine owes you, but you pay for it. Zillions!
