What I love most about Joey's work is he maintained a strong backbone to carry the music while also doing his own bits to make himself shine and cut through without being over-bearing. Disasterpiece is also my favorite Slipknot song for the song itself & the drum work, it was awesome seeing you nail it!

Joey had such immense creativity! All his drum parts are unique and add so much to the music. Slipknot would not be as popular without him for sure.

One of Knots most aggressive songs. You absolutely KILLED IT.
In my opinion, Joey's greatest song (also happens to be my favorite Slipknot song). Not only a difficult piece, but very creative. Joey really was the factor that set Slipknot apart from other Nu Metal bands at the time. Not that they didn't have great drummers, he just really put that "metal" in Nu Metal for Slipknot. RIP Joey. You will be missed.

This cover is insane...!!! Hands down the best on RUclips by far... I still have not seen anyone play the tom part just before the snare in the section from 2:23 till 2:33 as Joey does in the Disasterpieces clip. (you have to watch closely but it's there) I guess that is why Joey was and forever will be a god behind the kit. R.I.P. LEGEND...!!!

@@fnulnu8483 What I’m talking about is that they did not use a metronome while they recorded this track, you can clearly hear that the tempo goes up and down during the while track. It’s an old song so it was very normal for bands back in the days to do like this for a specific vibe of a track.
Struggling? Give me a break man! I’ve had this track down myself for years and I’m not in Adam’s league. Adam’s was cleaner, tighter and more precise than the composer himself (but Adam’s way too humble to say so). He just puts heaps of energy into it because it’s a killer song to nail and he loves what he does.
