@@nocheckinbags 12:38 right where you're standing, there used to be a shop there selling produce that my aunt owned and I used to live in for a year, the street behind you used to be a dirt path and the shops lining it weren't there before. That was only about 12 years ago, very trippy to see it now. Great video!, I'd love to visit the place again sometime

Turon is actually a deep fried egg roll wrapped plantain coated with a caramelized brown sugar. It typically comes with strips of jackfruit inside laid along the length of the plantain.

I’m watching the sunset in the background, guys you’re missing out on the sunset. Boracay is famous for it! I was there in Boracay last year! Best beach ever. I think you passed by where I stayed. Loved it! I plan on going back to the Philippines this year. I love the food and the beaches! I can’t wait to go back! I love the Philippines! Someday, I want to retire there!

Turon is made of thinly sliced banana with jackfruit (sometimes) wrapped in a spring roll wrapper **not seaweeds/ and deep-fried until golden and crispy coated in brown sugar until caramelized. I hope you find what you guys are looking for in Boracay. 🎉

Everytime I go to Boracay, I never fail to go to Jonah's Fruit Shake and get a Rockmelon Mango shake everyday twice a day. But every other time, anywhere in the Philippines, I get a green mango shake. Definitely highly recommended. My favourite shake.

Red Horse lifts up your understanding of colors infront of you. The blue becomes green, the blue becomes orange and the yellow becomes a flower if you hit 8 bottles.

During the 80's and 90's Boracay was so serene and tranquil and very clean,. electricity dont even exist on the island,. Mostly Europeans and Australians visit the island and they enjoy sunbathing and swimming naked on the Beach..

Also, I asked because @13:46 you guys walked by and said, “what’s this?” I was happy to see there was a lot of mangosteen fruit there because I thought they’re only available from August-October only, according to Google. Then when you guys got to the beach, I saw the date in the sand carving. And was so elated to see that there were mangosteen in February! ☺️ If you get a chance again, try mangosteen. It’s rich in antioxidants, highly nutritious, and so much more❣️Some people would describe it as the candy Jolly Rangers. It’s one of my favorite tropical fruits right up there with the yellow mangos. 🥰

I think General Luna Siargao cloud 9 is better than Boracay is more surfing paradise. Anyway there's plenty of beaches in Philippines over 7,000 plus islands.
For surfing it definitely is better, we have videos from that beautiful island as well

The best time to find Banana turon is in the afternoon when it is usually getting cook, fry around food vendors or street food vendors. At least that's how I remembered it!

i guess i will be known as "one of those old white men" when i visit Boracay 1st week of Sept. One reason why Expats retire in the Philippines because one can live on USA Social Security benefits, while in the USA that's not enough. It's called living more comfortably...

Station - 1 is designated for RICH tourists.

Hope you guys go to less touristy beaches. They said calaguas in bicol is ethereal. I miss Philippines so much. Currently living in Victoria. I cannot swim in water even dip my feet in. Its too cold still even it should already be summer
