  • We take off on our way thru Landstuhl to the Bismark tower. With views of Landstuhl, Ramstein Air Force base, and beyond. We watch a plane take off from Ramstein and a train coming into town. Then out of Landstuhl seeing the older buildings and thinking what parties there must have been there when lots more Americans were there, On to Berg Nanstein Castle where you can look across to the Bismark tower on the other mountain. The last stop is to the Cantina Mexicana in Einseidlerhof with the US Army across the street. At 10:04 on the left, you can see a black (green) pole with a square on the top. It is a speed camera (trap) pointed to the way back to Landstuhl.

This is great; thank you! We were at Landstuhl in the 60s. The Bismarck Tower was next to the school I attended. Great memories.

Love it! Lived at Ramstein as a kid back in the 60s!
