    The i5-13600k is a beast of a chip, but for the higher price, along with higher platform cost- is it worth the premium in 2023? Well, yes and no- but 20 threads for this price is insane value!
    The Intel Core i5-13600k is the somewhat recent 14 core release from Intel. Sporting a 10nm (now known as Intel 7 Ultra) cutdown Raptor Lake-S die, this chip has the horsepower to slog through games, video editing, and programming!
    Building a Budget PC can be tough. Not only are GPUs and CPUs so incredibly expensive, but they can be hard to find on a budget... But, there are tips and tricks to finding you your dream Budget GPU, and pairing it with a CPU that will give you the performance you want!

    I'm a recent subscriber to your channel, but I just wanted to express my appreciation of what I've seen so far. I've only seen a few of your videos, but I really like your style. I like the fact that you focus on just a small subset of things that are relevant to what you are demonstrating, and explain why a particular result is what it is (compared to just showing hundreds of sets of results with little explanation, leaving it to the viewer to make sense of it all). I also like that your videos include quite a lot of the technical details relating to what you have observed in your testing, which really helps to explain why those things are happening. Some people might find those details boring, and skip to the next part, but personally I find it very interesting. Having said that, there is so much technical stuff that I sometimes found myself rewinding to replay certain sections to fully absorb the details. Maybe it would help to slow down a little bit and pause to allow the audience to fully absorb the important bits, before moving on to the next. But, that might just be me. My brain is probably just too slow to keep up lol. Also, I would personally like to see a bit more information on your initial slide where you mention the test setup. I had to replay that portion a couple of times as I was interested in knowing what cooling setup you used to obtain those overclock speeds. I would like to see the whole setup posted on that initial screen, including cooling setup and even the case you used (because that it important too). I would then include a complete breakdown of all of your parts in the video description, with links to where those items can be purchased (you could make a bit of $ from that ;) ). Overall, excellent work. I really like it, and I'm looking forward to seeing more.

      Will definitely be making these changes for how I display test bench details, along with extra details in the description!

    Good thing you tested at low settings to show the difference. Another great video.
    FYI GTA V is a mess when it hits 185 fps. There is a Gamersnexus video explaining this phenomenon.

    Certainly, if one is running an 11700K, there is absolutely no need to upgrade at this point. Simply wait a couple of years to make it more cost-effective. Nonetheless, the 13600K really shouldn't be paired with anything less than a 3080.

      hell, my 10900k is still running strong, gave it to my girl and it still runs as new, paired with a 3080 there aint a thing it struggles with in 1440p, not even a 10900k is worth changing from today.

    apex testing was run incorrectly, I get more frames with 2070 super, either in launch options or autoexec +fps_max unlimited / +fps_max 0 which would set it 300, there is dev only comand for unlimted but currently configs are disabled

      did/does your rig use the 13600k and a rtx 2070 super? and if so, are you bottlenecked in any way?

    • @user-zj2ib9tx5z
      @user-zj2ib9tx5z 3 месяца назад +3

      @@xCheatah I'm on 13700k, The bottleneck is a 2070 super, it's not that I don't hit the max FPS but the GPU is always at 100% so occasionally it will go down to 220 not in the 1% lows just in the overall average as there isn't enough GPU, Apex is pretty memory sensitive so something like fast DDR4/DR5 say like DDR4000 c16 or ddr5 6800 c32 / 7200 c34, You're going to have to tweak the subtimings a little bit no XMP is perfect out of the box, focus on improving latency either use the Intel IMC test or if you're paying for Aida

    Dude who keeps their fps unlocked like this? Just lock it below your monitors refresh that way g sync works and you don't break game engines like GTA 5. Uncapped frames are a waste of power and are not noticeable.

    13600KF in B760 DDR5 vs Z690 DDR4 OC which one is faster and better for value?

      @kodakblack531 Год назад +2

      get a z690 those boards don't let you oc. you can undervolt 13600kf and get higher clock speeds at the same time using less power getting more perf (unless you get bad sp rating/mb). hp v10 is good ddr4 comes with 4000c15 mode stock can can go higher for $75 beats ddr5
