- Another windy weekend was on the cards but as always i took on the conditions in search of some hungry fish. An early start as usual in hope of some better conditions but unfortunately it was blowing from the get go. I did my best to hide so the fishing was somewhat enjoyable and got a few along the way. Hopefully u legends enjoy the episode it certainly was tough going out there. Dont forget to Like and Subscribe for all upcoming videos.

@@DaiwaAustralia thanks, definitely makes it hard to have fun when it blowing 30plus but made it work. Also getting a variety of species on the bait junkies shows how much the fish like them 🙌

@@regkershaw fishing for so many years mate ive learned alot of where to fish in what conditions. Its still hard work to get bites sometimes but i enjoy the challenge of it in bad conditions. Thanks as always for watching Reg 🙏

I’ve been trying to get a Jew recently using ice coconut glow pink jerkshads and some transams can’t land one have you been working them differently?
@@Ohsanglers no mate just the usual lift an drop back then to the bottom. I never work it too fast either.
Terrible conditions Andrew you did great hard to find a area out of the wind. Got a reward at the end that paid off. Tried the bait junkie prawn last weekend great plastic fish seem to like it look forward to the next adventure
Yes Andrew it was awful, so limited in where u can fish. An definitely the best part of casting all that time was the reward at the end. Made it all worth it so happy i went out. Thanks for watching mate 🤙🏻

Was a relief to get that jewie otherwise the day probably wasnt worth it. Not in that wind anyway, this weekend looks similar too. Maybe sunday 🤷♂️

We fished out from Berowra Sunday ventured out as far as church point worked areas on the way back for doughnuts.🙄

Good on you Andrew, another good video👍 As you know, with 10lb leader and oysters on rocks etc, you did well to get that jewfish across the line, easily could have ended in disaster. I had to laugh when you said that flathead are all you're catching. Thats me just about every weekend including the one just gone.
There just seems to be more flattys then any other fish at the moment. And there not massive either but better then no fish. Yer 10lb doesnt hold up very well against oysters.

@@thewoodboystv thanks alot, almost didnt bother going in this wind. Lake has bn very hit and miss atm with jewies from what ive seen. An very scattered aswell. Try in shallow early around points near deeper water and if the baits there u should be a good shot. An by shallow i mean between 10-20 ft ish. Once the suns up fish deeper around 25-35 ft. Plastics or vibes an no more than 15lb leader. An try to fish around the whitebait schools as much as possible. Good luck mate il have to get back into the lake jewies soon when the weather improves. I hate fishing the lake in howling winds.
Sick video as always - love ur straight to the point style & the results speak for themselves. Ive got one question tho, and it's a bit of an odd one, I know... where's your accent from? Obvs it's Aussie but I'm from Melbourne and I haven't heard an Australian accent with a broad "w", like in "know" or "through" down here. Anyway, hope it's not rude to ask, just curious. Every now and then I catch myself using sayings or what have you from my grandad, even tho I was pretty young when he passed away. Its nice how he's still around like that. Loved the video lowy few good fish u caught with all that wind 😂 have u tried the rapala creeper lures used them a few times and the flattys love em 🎣
@@Murphyshephard23975 cheers mate. Glad i went i almost didnt bother with all the wind about but wanted to keep consistent with the videos so im glad it worked out ok. I havnt tried those yet next time i make my way into a tackle shop il have a sus at them 👍

@@Lowysfishing yeah always good to get out none the less, never had braid slip like that before, I’ve probably caught 50 odd Jew on that outfit with the same braid🤷♂️ lesson learned, will back it with a little mono.

@MrStateman its shallow mate an has rockwalls there that would rip the motor off ya boat. An theres also old oyster rack poles too in an around there to dodge.
