My dog Mojo, who I raised from a puppy and was my companion in life, my best friend, started having seizures at age 6. I took him to several vets who said he may have epilepsy, but his conditioned worsened and we had a cat scan done. I received the heartbreaking news that he had a large brain tumor and severe swelling and he would not be able to be saved. I played this song so loud it blew my speakers and cried like I have never cried before in my life.
I felt that same way about my daughter's boyfriend when he passed away suddenly at age 31. To this day I can hardly speak about him without tearing up. I see him in my dreams. He talks to me. I miss him so.

Now as a 24 year old with a few life experiences, heart breaks, deaths, and sad/amazing things happen to me, I can't help but have this song touch me. In 2001 I was 13 years old when I first saw this music video on TV. I felt inspired - a cartoon with a very beautiful melody. it was a revelation of some very intelligent adult author conveying his sadness. and I felt like a child on the verge of discovering something great. still listening to this song, I remember how it was, to goosebumps. Moby - this was one of the first real choices of my music that I still listen cause his music makes me feel. but it all started after this video. sorry for my poor english and from Russia with love!

@@cromdevil Almost Home, by Moby, is another really great and moving song. Interpret the lyrics as you like. And the music is beautiful. One thing I love about Moby is the lyrics he writes are poetic and can be interpreted any way you want, that fits how you feel about it. He is a brilliant artist.
i was without any energy and very sad in that year when first time I heared this song in the radio. half a year later i changed my life into good, moved to antother town and two years later I saw Moby live in my new hometown together with the amazing band röyksopp.
for two decades a tear and a friendly smile of summer sun is in my heart with this extraordnary lovely song.
