How surreal. I just discovered your channel a few days ago and subscribed then, and your next video features the football club that I most support. I'm an American who spends much of my time in Istanbul and have been to that stadium so many times over the past couple of years. However, I actually wasn't at this match. But I attended a Turkish Cup semifinal a few days ago just a section or two to the right of where you were here. Anyway, glad that you enjoyed your time at the match. That was a cool video to watch.

The reason it’s quiet 2 hours before the game around the stadium is that the fans are gathering around the parks and restaurants/bars to pregame with beers and raki

Nice video man. Just one tip if you ever decide to come back to Besiktas. The fans are not near the stadium 2 hours before the match they are hanging around the Eagle's statue (kartal heykeli). There we sing chants and celebrate, this starts around 5/6 hrs before the match. FYI

Hi lovely video, There is a pregame celebration but more inside of the place called Besiktas.. behind the stadium. I was there and there were atleast 5000 people there dancing, eating drinking! And i was there when they were playing for the championship. This year they are less good! But believe me its alot of fun

oh its good! I saw your first day istanbul video. If you still in Istanbul please do not choose resteurants in Fatih distrct where do u stay in I guess. Besiktas, Kadikoy, Moda, Nisantasi, Bebek, Etiler etc. there are way better places to stay or eating high quality Turkish foods.

Behind the goal is always hooligan part so you can't sit much, you always have to stand up. It has also a worse vision to watch the game well. I recommend you to buy seats from the sidelines next time.
