My daughter has automatic acceptance, quick question about if she doesn't get into her major though, does she still get to go to UT, how does that all work??
@nana I can now tell you that if you are automatically accepted that means you are officially accepted into UT. My daughter did get into her major and has sense graduated.
Can you please do a video on admissions to the school of architecture specifically? I know it is extremely competitive program, so what can I do to make myself stand out? Also can you touch on admissions to architecture vs architectural engineering.
You touched on things one should do to improve their chances of getting into the Computer Science program (app development, conferences and AP Comp Sci). What are some things I can do to improve my chances of getting into the business program?
Thanks for your question Abhi! I provide a lot of useful content on my blog www.texadmissions.com/blog and I also help students professionally to build great applications maximizing their chances. Please get in touch if you are interested kevin@texadmissions.com
Business major just isn't worth it anymore , no wonder international students to business are decreasing because they're smart enough to understand it.

The College of Liberal Arts, which houses psychology, is one of the less competitive programs. The average test score for those admitted students is around a 27 on the ACT, slightly less than the university average.
If I get into the school of business, is it guaranteed that I will get into the major that I want? Because when I apply, there's only an undeclared major for the McCombs school.
Unknown it's okay. The admissions office will see that your school doesn't offer that. Just take the hardest classes/the ones that sound the best. Make sure to take dual enrollment classes too even if your school only offers it in English or history
How competitive is it to get admitted to Architectural Engineering? I know the number of students in the major is relatively low, but is there a large pool of applicants to choose from?
+Demetri Petronavik You would probably just want to do either astronomy or physics. Astronomy is effectively a physics degree in itself. And anything you do until December 1 can be included in your application.
this video has confirmed that i probably wont get into ut architecture lol
Great to know Architecture is the most competitive. *cries* (my 1st choice major)

Could you elaborate more on how competitive it is to be granted the Biology/Biochemistry Majors at the College of Natural Sciences?
