    Glad to see you back. With the cost of everything today, if you can get something for free, and it serves the purpose, then why not! Stay safe and have a great day…

      I have plenty of Poplar on my property, I know it’s not the most desirable wood species but I will make use of them!

      Does it do pretty good or would you like more power?

      @CentralMaineOutdoorsman  10 месяцев назад +1

      It does good. I really don’t feel the need for more power, if I do it’s time to change the blade 😂

    Good to see ya back, views and subs don't reflect on your content, you make interesting vids, good edits. Very few homestead channels make you want to see every update, but yours is one of those.

    I’m with you all the way, cheap does not mean nasty and getting stuff second hand is good, your recycling which I try to do in a small way. Take care with this promised storm in the offing, I’ve been watching many videos, like yours because they fascinate me, but the snow storms are huge 🌸

      Ya it’s really amazing what people throw away. These windows are not perfect but they will be great for the shed. Thanks, ya I’m a big fan of winter. Let it snow!!! ❄️

    Good to see you back buddy. It's been a while. I figured it was because of deer season. Congrats on your deer and good luck on getting a doe. I did not get a deer this year but I didn't put in the time I usually do either so I'm not complaining. The shed looks great. I did my chains and got the snowblower put on the tractor yesterday also. I don't really want to clear the snow with it tho because the ground is still unfrozen mud. Not good for a snowblower. Or a plow for that matter. Lol

      Thanks! I know…..it took me some time to get back into the swing of things with new job and everything. Ya I’ve been putting in too much time Hunting 😂 it’s keeping me away from getting any of my projects done. But it’s the last week so I can get back to my projects. I think this one of those few times I’m thankful for having the poly cutting edge. It does tend to turn my road into ice rink once everything freezes.
      How do you like your blower? I’m going to get one eventually but not sure on what model.

      @CentralMaineOutdoorsman I got a 7' Blizzard brand but Martin is also a good brand. I love the snow blower because it does a great job of cleaning snow and I don't have to worry about running out of room for snow. There are definitely times that I wished I had a cab. Lol. It's not that bad tho. Just like anything, you learn little tricks to avoid being blasted in the face with snow. 😆 One thing I love the most about it is that I can keep my trails in the woods clean enough to keep using them in the winter.

      @@MrBrewner 😂 nice! I looked a Blizzard at Manchester Motors. Solid unit! I’m going to me in the market for one. Maybe next winter

      @CentralMaineOutdoorsman the Kioti and Massey dealer in Bangor sells them. That where I got mine. Harvey tractor in Dover sells MK Martin. They're kind of pricey tho

    Just curious, what size engine do you have on that mill?

    • @CentralMaineOutdoorsman
      @CentralMaineOutdoorsman  10 месяцев назад +1

      It has a 13hp Briggs engine, there’s a few options for this mill I believe the 13 hp is the largest offered

    My Kioti is chained up on all 4. I put them on in 2015 and they are still on.
