Who’s teacher made them come here because of online school because of covid
Elizabeth Walker I’m taken a test right now 😂
me too
yup
Imagine this was on someone’s recommended
Little known fact--Japan wanted a clause (racial equality proposal) to be included in the Versailles peace treaty stating the "all races are equal". Woodrow Wilson--an open racist--and the major "western" nations rejected the proposal. This angered Japan and led to their aggressive desire to make Asia a world superpower leading up to WWII,
+bomjam 1 Interesing. Have a source that i can read more from?
Thanks
Less than 30 years later, japan invaded its neighbors and starts being racist lol. Japan was so close to being fully democratic and was extremely well developed.
bomjam 2 no, the reason they wanted a racial equality wasn’t for the sake of other people of colour but mainly for overseas Japanese studying in the western world. Many of the had difficulties getting in, getting access to markets education etc
The reason they became expansionist is fairly simple: resources hence they took Manchuria, Korea and wanted to dominate China (to make them a market for Japanese goods) take the south east for the oil and minerals there.
and this is why I want to visit Japan one day
My teacher brought me here
same bro
Rithvik Yagnamurthy same

Word
How in the hell did I get here?
Last Friday was 3.6.'22
My 3rd son said he prayed upstair alone of a mosque. Hot. No air flowing inside out. His grandmother confirmed my narration about my son's experience of that particular days of performing Friday congregation. She also complained; the similar experience of being upstair of that building. Many fans but she couldn't see where was the switches.
I; on the other hand remember the old days of Abu Aiyuub. The prophet became his guest. As a mother, on thinking of that I feel lucky for yesterday's Friday.
His grandmother said; "Peng-|a-jar|-an. Bi-ar|-kan pa-nas, la-in ka-li da-tang a-wal."
all of this recent history videos you have been posting are very good for me personally because i have the AP European history test coming up on this material.
My assignment led me here....
Thaaaanks alot you explain it better than my teacher T^T am really grateful
For all of you, Sal is incorrect in saying Lloyd George was of the UK. The United Kingdom did not formally come into existence until 1922. Back then it was just the English Empire or Great Britannia
You got a great voice. Reminds me of Brian from Family Guy
Also, slightly, Chills
I'm on my laptop speakers, do you think you could speak up a bit please ? Thanks !
First, but I am not going to waste this comment.
We are learning about WWI in history class, i just wish my teacher was as good as you!!!!
thanks treaty of Versailles for causing WWII, lol
It's hard to say who really started that war. There was a lot of moving parts. But the UK and Germany are the least to blame. I think it was the way Germany fought the war that led to the heavy handed treaty of Versailles.
I think it was because the European powers were very jealous and resented the fact that Germany had grew militarily and economically so fast… Benjamin freedman speech at the willord hotel 1960 is quite interesting available on RUclips
I am really enjoying these videos, could you please find different maps that are not as marked up. I have poor eyesight and busy or convoluted designs are almost impossible for me to decifer.
Thank you for the videos don't stop I really do look forward to watching them.
The Germans weren't present at the Paris Peace Conference; the terms of the Treaty were presented to the Germans without discussion. The Royal Navy maintained a naval blockade of Germany until the Germans signed and much more ...
They had representatives of the German bank at the time.
Thank You Salman
He gets most of his maps and pictures from Wikipedia, you can probably find larger versions of most of them there, or use an image search.
tysm
Thank you Murat teacher
Sal, will you make historical videos concerning other areas like the break-up of the Indian empire and the modern day South east asia, The formulation of certain countries like china/japan/Saudi Arabia etc, Empires in Africa and so on?
Here because of university history class.
to be more specific,
germany lost:
1. part of upper silesia which became part of poland
2. danzig became a "free city"
3. and the rhineland became a buffer zone.
So it was basically to fu** Germany up… even though they didn’t start the war, seems like France England Italy, they were a little jealous how Germany grew economically and militarily so quick
who is here from 2021?
People tend to agree the Versailles treaty was unfair...but to say they had it coming? No. That is dumb. They did not have it coming.
It should be noted this treaty was about revenge and land grabbing not justice or any moral reasonableness. it only had taken 20 years before they were once again at it.
There is a fine line between justice, hatred and revenge. in this case it cost millions their lives, with blood and treasure!
the marker is not clear, great videos
The Wikipedia disambiguation page lists 26 counting the Treaty of Versailles. That's a lot.
with this AP Euro exam is going to be a piece of cake. Fuck yes!
From the Pentagon papers, Nguyen van Thanh, also known as Ho Chi Minh, spoke at the Paris Peace Conference in 1919.
Because this meeting led to the rise of Marxism in China
The map where they redrew borders has too many lines for my little occipital lobe to handle. A cleaner map with the same info would be much appreciated.
you didn t talk about the Romanian front, i m interested on your take
But please why did the president wanted to punish Germany
Girl my teacher wants me to do THIS?😐
LOL Everyone is saying they found this video due to their teachers in the comments dawg so have I 💀💀
Have a nice day:)🕊📦🔑
Buddha love you guys aswell
They didn't. The reparations were indeed a significant factor for the detrimental state of the German economy in the 1920's. Especially with the occupation of the Ruhr by the French gangsters.
My teacher send me this and I still don't get it
En français
this is cool :)
Cool?
I scare you tube.
u are the best.
this treaty was shameful

Ugh, I can’t believe I have to watch this entire thing.
@khanacademy You don't know the state structure of Austria - Hungary. Please read the Austria-Hungary article of the English Wikipedia. Present-day Slovakia Transylvania and voivodine were parts of the Hungarian state.
Indeed. I also made a video about this topic, but focusing more on the folklore of these regions. ruclips.net/video/Sd0m2DK_Xdw/видео.html
Why would Germany get all the war guilt? And not Serbia? Or Austria-Hungary? 😂😂😂 they wanted Germany to suffer!!!!
