I can't wait to get my hands on those figures. I really like the way Black Fire looks. My favorite colors are black and purple. But again I like all of the figures.
the penguin is great, but it definitely needs the pin stripes on the trousers, mcfarlane is lacking in the pin stripe department, they did the same thing with the 66' joker he did not have pin stripes on his trousers either, these figures would look better with the pin stripes on their trousers, thank you hunter great review as always.

Don´t get it. As much as a Variant the figure is it is still a different character. I don´t mind that box reads Starfire but the card should have the correct image and bio of Blackfire since she´s Starfire´s sister and not a different version of Starfire.
Doesn´t make sense that White Lantern Captain Boomerang. Yes, he was...but with the Classic design. Not the one from the figure that´s the New 52 onwards.
And to think, we've never had a proper, classic Boomerang figure from any company. Well, except Figures Toy Company but a lot of people don't like the 8-inch little plastic people.
awesome review always @dHunter....that Penguin's an amazing figure, that head sculpt...I dont collect variants, but would definitely pick up Blackfire, being a different character...I remember that DCUC Wonder Woman with an Artemis head..😂
Still waiting for Entertainment Earth to ship mine. I have a case of six and no idea if any are Platinums.
If you bought a full case, yes you will get the platinums of each in it

I love Starfire and Blackfires hair. If I had to have the figures to display it would definitely be both. I was able to get the platinum Penguin at Best Buy. Haha! Glad McFarlane is giving us figures like Brad the DC Universe. 😂

Love those colors for the Penguin chase. So nice and bright. The fact they didn't even update the character card information for Blackfire is sad. And of course this wave is nowhere to be seen in my area still.

Yeah that's why I'm not thrilled about these raffles. I'd have had to set aside a minimum of $120 for this wave.

It’s about $105 after shipping and taxes that is quite fair because these figures retail for about that much. What kind of raffles are you familiar with that are free to enter and you get everything for free?

It was a simple repaint, so it sort of makes sense, but I also understand that it kind of sucks

I think the penguin is really the only standup character of this wave in the next wave of collectors looks really lame to me. We’ll see how their platinum turn out.
I just hate the variant of the penguin. I think the added price is to make up for losing money on some other figures going on clearance and bundle deals.
