This is such a detailed and pretty customization! 💜💜💜 I love how you made every piece of the outfit, even the shoes! ☺️ Clay is beautiful and I love how you used clothes to make their clothes! That’s very smart! And leaving just the toes off of the tights is genius! Picked up lots of things I want to try with my own doll! Anyway, great tutorial! I learned a lot about the cloth and shoemaking. I'll apply that to my custom figures which is 1:6 smaller.
Also, that is quite a pricey doll frame.

Oh try to look for acrylic yarns...it's the kind commonly used in wig-making. You'll find one for sure 🙂

I’m honestly interested in the measurements of everything it’s very nice that you show us the process, I crochet and I really wanna know how did you made your doll warmer size wise
Hi Paulina, I watched some youtube tutorials of crocheted leg warmers (human size) to learn how to make the piece. When translating it to my doll size, I measure her leg circumference and how long I want it for her, then I just crochet stitches until I reached her measurements. I always do this when translating human scale to doll scale pieces. In my experience, I find it effective to just get the doll measurements. By doing this you can come up with your own stitch counts for your doll. Hope this helps 🙂

Hey, I have the exact same doll type! May I ask how you convert human patterns to doll sizes? I've been having trouble with figuring that out
Hi! Yay for our cute dolls 🙂
I'm not an expert in pattern-making so I just watch yt vids on how to make human size patterns. To convert it, I use the doll's measurement in cm and also millimeters if I think some parts of the patterns need to be smaller/shorter. It does not come out perfect at times so I just trim and adjust the cut fabric patterns on the spot as I fit it to my doll. Sometimes I just freehand draw some curves of the patterns like the sleeves. I basically do trial and error in some parts.
Try the “tape method”.. wrapping the doll with plastic first and then using masking tape to cover the body so you can sketch the pattern.

Hi, sorry I can't recommend any shop since I'm doing my dolls' clothes myself. I haven't tried buying from shops or any ready-made clothes for them.
