Romney on Trump and the Republican party

  • “Have some people lost their way? Yes. Are others filled with a vision for the future? Absolutely. I think we’ve got 12 people or more that would like to be president, that are thinking of running in 2024. If President Trump continues in his campaign, I’m not sure anyone of them can make it through and beat him. I think he’s got such a strong base of 30 or 40 percent of the Republican voters, maybe more. It’s going to be hard to knock him off as our nominee. If he became our nominee, I think he loses again … I voted to remove him from office twice … It’s not just because he loses … but it’s also he’s simply not a person who I want to have the reins of the government of the United States … I hope that we find someone in my party who has those qualities to lead America to a better future.” - Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah)

All this "easy answer" shows is Romney's dedication to feelings over facts. The "evidence" used in both impeachment attempts has been shown to be a Hillary/ Democrat/ Deep State hoax based on the manufactured Steel Dossier.
If Romney is so vehemently doubling-down on these absolute errors in judgement he's not a fit candidate to hold power and is himself the epitome of where the Republicans have "lost their way".

Mittens is what you libturds embrace and adore,a Rino sellout, with the backbone of a jellyfish. He agrees with the liberal philosophy, and won't stand up against it, but supports it. His career as a republican senator are coming to a close. Then Fake news can give him a job like Chaney, and Kinsinger,a couple more sellouts. They have all done their damage to the conservative cause, and will be in the hall of shame.May they reap what they have sown in the years ahead, and live in shame.

plenty do, but mainly to manipulate them. But ideally, politicians will be smarter than people and work for their good - showing leadership - even when people might not agree with them. The US really suffers from a lack of this form of leadership. It's one of the reasons it lacks basic supports that other G7 ( and many lower-income countries ) consider settled necessities.
