I did the swap! i just sold my xp3.0 long range for the velotric fold. had the xp3.0 for a year. annoyed with the key being under the frame and the battery in the middle. I transport my bike to San Francisco Bay and American River trail so switching to the velotric helped so much. removing the battery behind the seat is faster and loading the folded bike into a 50gal tote is so much easier and lighter. now i'm short, (4'11). velotric is a more upright position and more comfortable to ride but with the xp3.0, the ball of my feet can touch the ground. im tip toe on the velotric. my soultion, stick with velotric and wear lifted sneakers.

Just this morning I was wondering if many ebike companies still worked within a dealer network system (bike shops) for sales. I guess so! I have two Lectric XP3.0s but based on this comparison, if I were to buy today I’d go with the Velotrec for various reasons.
Btw, I installed the second balancer kit in my wife’s bike today. We are ready to hit some long rides with our added 20ah batteries.

I felt Lectric got lazy over the years on the XP. The 3.0 did not improve much, and this is why i sold mine and got the fold 1. The XP looks dated too. The fold 1 definitely needs a seat post, the ride was bumpy.

lectric, the rack is welded, can hold a passenger or a cooler filled with ice, imo. went fishing put like 40 lbs of cooler and ice, no problem.

Sir, the Xpedition 2.0 videos from other youtubers are out. hope the YLS cables are the same for it as well as the battery mounts that are in your website. its gonna start shipping end December anyway. crossing fingers.

Are you making a long range battery kit for the fold 1??

The controller is integrated into the battery mount, so it will be very difficult without permanent mods.
