How to remove the tailgate lower window rubber trim on Range Rover L322

In this video we look at removing the lower window trim rubber on our Range Rover L322 - this was not fitted on the 2010 on models and is not really needed !

To replace: Pull off old trim, clean area well. Coat new trim and window with heaps of silicon spray, slowly slide new trim on from one end. 10 minute job.

Yes leave it off - i did on mine - they stopped fitting it in 2010.....

yes just rip it out - the later models did not have this trim - it has no purpose !

Bonjour. Yes you can remove it without water ingress risk... the window is bonded in and the rubber strip was not fitted to the later models. I need to spend more time in France....I will be there in a couple of weeks

On the 2010-13 models the glass and the tailgate are the same - just the later model did not have the rubber strip.
