I’m laying down on heating pad to base of my skull cuz I’ve had so much pressure and congestion, listening to your jazz and drinking oj/apple juice mix just appreciating this break you are giving me. I personally don’t like doing most things alone so it’s more than therapeutic for me. I’m destressing bcuz this is so calming and I need that for my anxiety. I have a special needs child who also loves jazz.
I've been testing wooden wick myself and just stopped using them. I'm about to test the premier 700 series. Have had good results with eco wicks right now with soy wax.
I don’t blame you. They are extremely inconsistent in a number of regards. They make for a very unique product but can easily break a business with their inconsistency.
Hi Allen, I've been using a custom blend of Coconut/Soy10 for about a year now. I can tell you that this wax behaves just like Coconut wax due to its soft consistency so its recommended to treat it as such. Both HT/CT are phenomenal at 10% FO; however, 9% FO seems to work just as great while improving wooden wick performance. I totally get the frustration with wooden wicks, trying not to get discouraged myself.. Soy10 is a keeper!! 😊
Hi Les! Oh, that's excellent to know. I'll have to try 9% and see if that helps. I noticed blending a little beeswax in may be useful as well for whatever reason. Love and light always.
I’ve been testing wooden wicks the past few months. I’m no wooden wick pro but I’ve found that a 9% fragrance load gives me a better burn. I usually use 10% with cotton wicks. I have a love hate relationship with them. 😩😭
That is so interesting! Someone else said the same thing as well in the comments about 9% being the magic number. I haven’t encountered this with my wax blend but it seems with soy-10, 9% is the way to go!
no idea what you call the stick thing lol , but you pour over an oblect to reduce splash and bubbles , as a bar man we use to pour over spoons to make layered drinks
Hey Michael 👋 there are some coconut wax blend that ship well all year round. Not all coconut blend are soft. Eg Coco bright by California candle supply isn't soft like Coconut 83 or Coco Apricot. Also the newest coconut blend by Northstar isn't soft either and they throw and burn beautifully well.
Hi, Ellen. I watch in the am, so I'm drinking coffee and eating breakfast as well as researching and making/testing candles. I have used soy 10 from Cal Candle Supply, GB464 and 16/17 #7. All great. I'm working on a GB464 blend right now, so I'm testing. Have a beautiful day.
Hi Anastasia! Aww I love this so much! How do you find the hot throw compares between these three waxes? They’re all some I am actively testing too. Love and light 💛🌱
@@earthglow I've had great hot throw and cold with all. GB464 does indeed have the strongest CT and HT, but I love the buttery consistency and the best melt pool with Soy 10. I lthink 16/17 #7 is great. I really like GB464, but it's dry after I burn my candles and I know that is totally cosmetic because it works just fine. I'm trying a blend with stearic acid 2.5%, tart wax 10% and 16/17 10% and it is actually giving me smooth tops, but leaves wax residue on the sides. I live in Southern California so I am looking to make it 464 withstand higher temps. Cal Candle supply has been out of stock of soy 10 and I have a good amount of 464, so that is why I'm experimenting. I'm going to try your recipe soon with the beeswax. Love and light to you as well.🕯💛

I don’t use soy 10 but I use coconut wax blends and wood wicks and typically use 9% to test with. I use EC26 and also Hemp Soy. I just wonder if you go down with the FO% if you’ll have a more stable flame with wood wicks. I’d be interested to see if it makes any difference
Hi Diane! Yes, two other people have said that 9% is their magic number for the wooden wicks with this wax!!! Thanks for sharing. Love and light always 💛🌱
I love ur videos. Ur content are on par. I just lay back and sip my beverage and watch ur videos 😁 the background music is likewise soothing and relaxing🤗 I occasionally use Soy 10 I think it's an excellent wax and I use CDN or HTP wicks. One more question: what is the inner diameter of your tins? I use the 5oz tins by Makesy, so I’m trying to do a comparison for wicking purposes. Thank you! Love your channel 🎉
Oh Soy 10 I really love this wax but have found it does not work well with WW even with beeswax. I have done numerous testing but need to move on to a new wax to go with my WW. I have used cotton wicks and they work great but Im really wanting my line to be mostly WW. Love the video 😊 I really tried to make it work but on to the next
