Just bought the GHE Professional Hedge Cutter direct from Bosch UK, cheaper than Screwfix and delivered in two days. I already have three Bosch compatible batteries so it was worth buying Bosch rather than a new system from someone else. Initial impressions are pretty good much lighter than my Stihl petrol, good clean cut, handles big laurel bushes with ease and the battery is still on the 3 mark. Doesn't feel as solid as the Stihl so we will have to see about longevity but hey it's about half the price of the competition if you already have the batteries and charging system.
I have used the Bosch Blue professional range of tools for years, they are very good and I have no intention of changing. However, very disappointed that they have no pole hedge trimmer option in this new range as this is now a hugely popular tool. Is it likely to come soon?
Will there be different versions of each machine, similar to the DIY range? For example, a hedge trimmer with a bigger tooth gap. A telescopic hedge trimmer would also be a nice addition to the professional range.
The blades on all short & long handled hedge trimmers around the world are the same. The power of the engine is what determines its ability to handle commercial work, but more than 25mm you use loppers, a handsaw or a chainsaw. If you buy a saw, buy quality as the bulk of cheaper stuff is chinese crap.
Bought the grass trimmer and it works great however beware of its length. It is quite short. If you are above 175cm you will have to bend to use it. You can keep it higher at belt level but then motor will be at odd angle. If only they made aluminum pole like 10-15cm longer it would have been great.
These new products don’t seem “commercial” grade to me. They seem more akin to light-duty, semi-professional gear long produced by the likes of Makita & Hikoki.
These are perfect example of tools that one uses longer and continuously (as opposed to something like angle grinder or a hammer drill). Therefore - regardless of how many batteries you got - you will run out and have to wait for charging if used for a longer time. _Well, just buy another charger_ is a workaround, not a solution. Multibay parallel charger would go very well with these tools. Better then biscuit with tea.
I could never understand why Bosch…a long-established (pioneering) cordless tool manufacturer…hasn’t produced a serious set of commercial grade landscape gardening tools for the professional. It tried, briefly, about a decade ago, but these have since become unavailable. These new products look fresh out of China and are will be more appealing to domestic users and light-duty trade users. Sorry Bosch. You could do better, I’m sure.
Alas 😂 Only 5 years late! I thought it was never gonna happen. I now have Bosch power tools and had to get Milwaukee garden tools.
Yes way too late. Bosch and Husqvarna for me 😂
These are all great. Would love to see a long reach/telescopic hedge cutter in the next phase of garden tools too 💙
When are these coming to the United States? How long must I wait?
Fantastic line up of new tools
These look great! Can't wait to get my hands on these!!!

These look nice. I wonder what are the differences between these new products and the typical ones in green.
Very good!!
What's the runtime (either per Ah or total on an example ProCore battery size) of the leaf blower at minimum, middle and maximum airflow settings?

Will we see a Bosch Professional Lawn mower soon so I can use my existing batteries? Or will have no choice but to go to EGO or other competitors
