I don't think tough times......good compitition yes but not tough times.
Because new RE 350 engine is same as 650 with one cylinder less (same counterbalanced engine technology).
And the fact that RE is the benchmark of retro unlike honda which has a retro arm.
Do you think world's oldest continuous bike manufacturer will lay down its weapons.
Infact RE is going to launch new 250cc, 350cc, and a brand new flagship 650cc roadster.....It will be good compitition but still tough times for honda and Jawa to rival RE.
Look at the numbers people say RE 350 lost volume sales to Jawa 300s but actually sales went to costlier RE 650 twins.
I am no fanboy I just like there marketing and resilience as I am a PhD in marketing so these companies are like good subjects to me.

Honda will never compete with r15 or mt... Honda cbr150 and cb150r exomotion has less power so they won't launch in india..Now, ktm and RE owners will never look at other brands when they purchase.. If they looked duke 125 and rc125 would never sale for its price and let's not talk about RE quality..
So basically this won't effect RE, ktm or yamaha.. What this will do is attract buyers who want classic bike but not interested in RE because of refinement and reliability..
Yamaha xsr 155 and rumored RE 250cc bike will attract more buyers..

Upcoming Royal Enfield meteor will knock it out with one strike🎳. The reason is very long and loyal customer following of Royal Enfield. Though this one is also is a good attempt to change the pace of market, as more competition means consumers will have more freedom of choices. Give me a thumbs up if you like the information.

Honda done a good job because it's Rival Royal Enfield , The heavy maintenance machine with unreliable parts is going to face a real rival now.
We endorse R.E because of its classic design and it's Classic history. But R.E is clearly earning too much profits with their unreliable parts. Which costs heavy maintenance.
That is why Honda makes a difference ,not only the design but we trust it's reliability.
Why honda doesn't use the 'H' logo on bikes that are shown on cars already.

Actually a great bike , inspired by the older cb twins abroad, looks retro and premium of course reliable, this is a nice opportunity for enthusiasts who were missing these bikes as they were not available in the 70's and 80's in India. The bike would have been unique and an attraction if it was priced a little bit higher , and we had a twin cylinder instead of one,nonetheless a great affordable bike by honda.
This is smart bike and hope it comes 650 or 750 cc as rival to Interceptor 650 and Harley Street. Really stylish.
Jawa 42 is better because we get liquid cooling system with more power at 20k cheaper. Honda has failed in pricing the bike. 1.65 lakh would have been better.
But the review is bad man. The users are constantly complaining about its maintenance and service. Honda engine is most refined in the segment. So initial numerical figures may deceive you.

@@HimalChakraborty right dude. The chrome plating of jawa classic wear off within 2 months. Mileage declined by 35%. Even the exhaust note is boring. I was expecting rebel 300. But I disappointed in that aspect only. This bike is similar in structure to the triumph boneville. And the bike only available from Honda wing premium showrooms. So the service and sale is of personalized form for the customers
No jawas liquid cooling is facing lot of rust issues and yes u get more power but Honda's reliability is worth it also the build quality is much much better and ther service center s of Honda is more then jawa looks ain't everything I have seen the bike it looks like a 500-600 cc 7-8 lakh bike

If this CB350 was on sale in the UK I would buy one today. The price, Rs. 1.9 Lakh, converts to approx £2k sterling so this would be a real bargain here.

I am having Splendor Grey Colour which I bought in 1997. Still single kick start and sturdy as ever. Cant ride it freely as registration expired long back. Still I manage riding it sometimes escaping eyes of Traffic Police. Recently I bought a Royal Enfield Classic 350cc BS6 Stealth back and I park them beside each other and love them both.
