Can I get your opinion on my situation? I own a florist domain name for rich city in Silicon Valley and I originally acquired it to flip it to florist. So far I was not able to sell it for my asking price and instead I thought of developing this domain for florist affiliate program. I list bouquets offered by national company that uses local florist and work on SEO to get local search customers interested in florist services. In Silicon Valley there are a lot of tech workers who spend more time on computer and that includes shopping. Instead of going to physical store many would rather buy same item online and flowers is no exception. Most local florists due have a website but no e commerce options. Their most advanced feature is probably ordering over the phone. What do you think?
This video indicates you don't need a high IQ to be a good investor, just 2 qualities, self discipline and a lot of patience. Investing is mostly about behavioral psychology. How can I generate more income to retire with at least $3m for long term care?
We share common goal, making sure you are ready for your later years is very important. That's why passive investing works, low costs, better diversification and it enables people to overcome their behavioral bias especially if they engage professional help.
It's unfortunate most people don't have such information. I don't really blame people who panic. Lack of information can be a big hurdle. I've been making more than $45k passively by just investing through an advisor, and I don't have to do much work. Doesn't matter if the economy is misbehaving, great wealth managers will always make returns.
I've stuck with the popularly ‘’Sophia Nadene Morgan” for about five years now, and her performance has been consistently impressive. She’s quite known in her field, look her up.
I came across your channel through this video-case studies are incredibly valuable, and I'm eager to see more in the future! Building wealth involves establishing routines, like consistently setting aside funds at regular intervals for smart investments.
That sounds like a good plan. In the past two years, working closely with a financial market specialist, I've built a six-figure diversified stock portfolio. Now, I aim to diversify even more this year.
You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 14.3%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an advisor.
Talking about a financial market specialist, do you consider anyone worthy of recommendations? I have about 100k to test the waters now that large cap stocks are at a discount... Thanks
My CFA Stacy Lynn Staples a renowned figure in her line of work. I recommend researching her credentials further... She has many years of experience and is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the financial market..
I researched doing a food truck and found that profitability was good at the start of the pandemic, , but now its very low if not unprofitable. The vehicle, gas and food costs have surged so damn high and the silent killer is city hall permit fees. I've spoken with some food truck owners and they have said getting in on it now would be high risk, low reward.
Louisiana requires a florist to be licensed. It’s pretty much a joke though. $100 a year. I’m a florist. Currently I’m the floral manager at a grocery store. I am experimenting with Facebook marketplace ads on the side. I’m dying to start my own floral business. Thanks for your info.
While working for a recycling center, a florist closed the business to retire. The financial paperwork came to be shredded. It was eye-opening and shocking no one in the family took it over. Slow week $1500.00 and rare. 5000, 6000 + or more at times.
a young woman was just publicly paralyzed from the waist down by a chiropractor. I would not suggest this business in this video given the context of the craft and how crucial it is that it's done PERFECTLY and not by someone looking for a "fail safe" business. Social responsibility!
Agreed 100%. It might be useful for someone wanting to invest in a business, but *nobody* should be starting a health-related business with the business being their top concern! These are people's lives and health we're talking about, here.
Coming in from Texas as well, Chiropractor may be low startup once you get you license but that 3-4 years is going to cost you $250k to $500k+ in student loans. I know this because about 5 years ago this was going to be the route I looked into doing after finishing my Biology degree when I retired out of the military. Further discussions with other chiropractors about price of school, debt, and what the reality of their salaries were, I decided to just go use my GI bill and get two master degrees and currently half way through my Doctorate of Business (DBA) degree. Great video keep it up Codie.
Seems like it would be a better route to build the business and hire a chiropractor to work for it. And or rent out space to practicing chiropractors who don't want to set up their own.
You work for 40yrs to have $1M in your retirement, meanwhile some people are putting just $10K in a bitcoin from just a few months ago and now they are multi millionaires..🇺🇸.
This year I reached 100 thousand invested in Bitcoin ETFs and other dividend income, it was exactly 1 year and 4 months, I already accelerated to reach 200 thousand, I think I will reach the goal sooner
Florist here over 25 years I also agree that this is inaccurate. I love what I do but it is a highly stressful and demanding job that deals with perishable product. Not that you have to go to school for floral but I did and am very happy to have that horticultural education behind me. It has served me very well. That along with a business degree. People that think they’re going to play with flowers or that this job is easy quickly leave.
So true, this has triggered me on a whole lot of levels. 😅 Sure you can upscale and do giant weddings but if you don’t know what you are doing you're screwed!
I started a unique photography business, low start up.. issue was income was capped at what I could do myself.. hiring other photographers the good photographers could do this on there own and the bad photographers were bad😢.. it was stagnant and not really scalable
Everyone’s hyped about secret techniques and tricks but only the ebook void of power really shows what’s behind all those business stories I’m not saying this for nothing
A chiropractor reversed my “scoliosis” that was ignored by doctors “well just watch it” is all the doctors could tell me and give meds for pain… and when the condition got bad enough, surgery. Thank GOD for Chiropractors!! Reversed my condition
Hi Codie, I really enjoy your content. As a person with a disability, I am wondering if you would consider creating a video geared towards helping those with disabilities start businesses
YES!! This would be great! I'm not officially disabled, but I have a long journey recovering from surgery. I need and want to start my own business for a great number of reasons. Finding something my body will allow me to do is the kicker right now. I've thought about a few things but I've not delved into them yet.
What jumped out as me was a bookstore and florist. I also love the ice cream vendor idea, but my I'd prefer to have a hotdog cart. I've already started a list of things I'll need for a "Pop Up Bookstore" and have at least 90% of those items. I can see myself doing this biz first since I already have a ton of inventory, and can source more relatively inexpensively. Thank you for the ideas and information. Much appreciated! ❤
Yes! I'm celebrating £32K stock portfolio today... Started this journey with £3K.... I've invested no time and also with the right terms, now I have time for my family an…
there's a book called whispers of manifestation on borlest , and it talks about how using some secret tehniques you can attract almost everything in life it's not some bullshit law of attraction, it's the real deal

What can push a landscape business to sell. Because It look like there are numerous stuff to do (Parks, Houses, Offices and others) , and if there are selling, how can I buy them without having the same previous problem and issues?
I love your videos, so here is a challenge; Low-risk boring businesses for disabled or chronically sick people who still want to make a difference, with let's say 5-15 hours a week non-physical draining jobs 🙂
I would love to hear this as well. The only business she mentioned in this video I could even consider doing is a bookstore, but I'd definitely have to have hired help to assist with all the physical stuff in the store that I can't do. A work from home business would be ideal for me, but I don't know what that'd be. I've tried KDP publishing and that went nowhere. Started a RUclips channel earlier this year, but I don't even know how to edit a video so all the ones I've posted are not edited. I already work a full time job from home, so finding the time to learn new skills is difficult (especially since I'm exhausted all the time). I'm in my 50's and would love to have another revenue stream, but nothing ever pans out for me.
Ha! I've considered this for me a long time & I don't think it there is one, sorry. Maybe if you had the capital to invest buying a daycare centre (in Australia) could be profitable & running it well could be very rewarding but they cost a great deal.
Here is another great business - doll repair shop I paid over $200 to have a 17+yrs toy stitching profesionally fixed, stuffing removed and deep cleaning and some esthetical fixes
@abellopez. there were 6 clients queued up at that time. I called for a new toy and could only find time after 3 weeks. Definitely not the sole client. Do some research.
Is there any not so big but lucrative business you can combine with a 9-5 job? My job doesn't pay badly and I don't want to quit but I need the extra income too.
I was in a similar dilemma two years back. A business may not be the right way to go about getting that extra money except you won't do the running of the business yourself. You should probably consider investing in stocks, ETF's or even Real Estates if you have the money. You don't necessarily need a lot of time for this and it is equally rewarding. You can even use the service of a financial expert and this way, you literally do nothing and it's much safer. I now make roughly 12k monthly this way and I plan to still own a business but much later when I'm ready to retire. Goodluck
@@Kortneylove-1 Nice... This makes a lot of sense... I've been considering going into this stock thing for sometime now... Heard its a nice way to make some extra funds... How do you get a good expert and how expensive are they...
You should begin by looking out for those with strong records. Also make sure the person is registered. Personally, I use Marie, Kelly Matwick. She's not so popular but you might have heard of her. And from my experience, they're usually way cheaper than you would expect
I truly respect Cody and her teaching yet one of the things I wish she would emphasize in all of her videos is that the discipline required to become an entrepreneur most people do not have and that is one of the reasons for their demise. Ability to self regulate emotionally, have good time management and productivity habits, as well as being willing to learn about cash flow are essential elements for becoming a successful entrepreneur. I have several businesses as well as teach these to entrepreneur wannabes and honestly most people don’t pass the basic requirements of habits and mindset of entrepreneurship. For those that do, be well and prosper! There is nothing like owning your own business. JOBs -just over broke- are for some, but not me!
Always love you videos. I just looked into a business for business #5. It’s called BNB Leverage. Great concept where you don’t even have to buy a property. You rent from a homeowner.
I was a stay at Home mom with no money in my IRA or any savings of my own, which was scary at 53 years of age. Three years ago I got a part time job and save everything I make. After 3 years, I am 56 yo and have put $9,000 in an IRA and $40,000 in my portfolio with CFA, Abby Joseph Cohen. Since the goal of getting a job was to invest for retirement and NOT up my lifestyle, I was able to scale this quickly to $150,000. If I can do this in a year, anyone can.
The thing is people often doubt the prospects of financial advisors like Abby Joseph Cohen in business/markets today. Well it gives me more time to get ahead while they stew in their own pity and doubts as they childishly complain about those spreading the word
I know this FA, Abby Joseph Cohen Services but only by her reputation at Goldman Sachs; even though she's now involved in managing portfolios and providing investmnt guidance to clients. I have been trying to get in contact since I watched her interview on WSJ last month
@@VernesaGunzWell her name is 'ABBY JOSEPH COHEN SERVICES'. Just research the name. You'd find necessary details to work with a correspondence to set up an appointment.

Hello there! Isnt landscaping different to garden maintenance To be a landscape architect is a intense course of study. Quite extensive and mathematical geographical But to maintain gardens requires you to learn about plants and use of basic garden tools. Trial and error and getting it right through experience...

I usually go with registered representatives. Faith Reece has the best performance history (in my opinion) and does offer 1v1 consultation to her capitalists which I think is amazing.
Faith's unique strength lies in her realistic approach which makes her different from other brokers who often set unattainable targets and fall short in delivery.
Honestly didn’t think something like this was even possible but once you read the ebook titled void of power it just changes everything you’ve gotta see what it’s about
15:30 My grandpa owned a garden before he died, had about three of those greenhouses each full of flowers and a front shed that he sold them out of, sadly when he passed his employees stole all of his stuff and grandma moved states, my dad never picked up the business even though it was during his "be your own boss" phase of life
@@ErikaDobre-c6e My dad is now divorced, his adopted mother (simplified by me calling her grandma) passed away last year, and he only has a net worth of about 10,000 after selling much of his stock/401k during covid to save himself from losing more of it in the crash, he also lost his house after a bankruptcy and he is dating a 27 year old, which is the only good thing he has going on (his oldest child is 26-27 years old and he only my half brother) so put simply no, because he didn't want to work hard in life, I don't want to crush your hopes, now I live with my mom (happily paying $800 a month in rent to support her) and making more then my dad and my investments during this past yet brought my net worth to be higher then my fathers (I do have 5,575 in a car loan but my net worth still surpasses his), my boss is having problems with me but cant afford to loss me because of my work ethic and training ability, basically if your idea of a Boss is a hard working individual who takes responsibility then yes it will work out, if you think a Boss is a sit back and hope all is well then you will end up like my dad, its not you words that count but your actions
Thanks for the great content! Started my journey to search for and buy a business recently because of you. Reaching out to a lot of listing to try to learn more about the businesses and trying to see if I can leverage any of my other connections to potentially find off the market deals. Still have lots to learn but hopefully as I do my research and review enough businesses I am able to find the right one and get the right deal. Do you have any recommendations for understanding the more technical side of reviewing and evaluating businesses? I think I have a general idea and use to do a lot of property analysis for potentially good single family homes on the market that would cash flow as a rental investment. But with businesses there is definitely a lot more to consider and no two businesses can probably be evaluated the exact same way. Last question, Do you know of any good information or sources for veterans who may be looking to use a SBA or other opportunities to help with funding the purchase of a business?
Suggesting book store startups take books from private free lending libraries to stock their shelves is a little questionable ethically in my opinion. I would certainly talk to the operator of the library first. My parents have run one for years and it does sometimes get overstocked, but I think the people who contribute to the library would be pretty upset if they discovered that a retailer was taking the best books to stock their bookstore shelves free of charge and denying members of the community free access to the donated books.
What about a wellness center bringing in multiple practices of alternative and complementary healthcare services. It reduces their overhead and they all pay me as the owner of the center. I can't find much info out there on this concept.
I started my landscape design business in 2002. My specialty is color in the garden but we do everything from leveling and sod, new gardens, flower pots and seasonal plantings. I am 100% self taught. It is hard work definitely but so rewarding because flowers definitely make people smile. Landscape design is wonderful and I love being y own boss. #gardensbyRachel
Welp, I sure hope this was a sign! I’m down here just north of San Antonio in Helotes, which has a very lovely Main Street. I’ve got 6 grown kids and would like to do something when *I* grow up - health issues have made me reluctant to try. I’ve been wanting to open a Religious/Catholic book/gifts type store with a coffee shop in it. A place people can buy really interesting books - not just the old fusty stuff, cute baby clothes & toys & nice quality things that people will want to keep. Heirloom quality even. Like the old bibles people used to keep track of their families in. I think people really miss that kind of thing. Of course, the coffee shop would have to have snacks so my attorney husband who likes to cook after work could whip things up & I could bake fun things like scones & such. We’ll need a liquor license because Catholics need beer when arguing theology, and Irish priests will need something stronger when making a strong point. 😅 I would love to see a place like that where people could just hang out. Maybe we’d have to sell flowers and plants too, because I want to, and it’s always nice to come home with a book, a baked good, and a coffee.🤗
Got an idea. I wish there was a person who goes around finding resource production places and making lists of those places then taking a client to those places. They could charge people to do that for them. I don't really think that is very common from what I have seen. Iowa seems to sell the same old items year after year.
laundromat business earnings differ from region to region and not all make what most individuals think. As one owner expressed $1800 a month after expenses. (Rent, Insurance, Utilities, Repairs etc.)
Flipping items is also another easy one too where you may purchase $100 worth of clothing and then you resell them and reinvest the items back into the business. You don't need a lot of space for inventory either.
Hey Codie, I started with STR arbitrage. It has morphed into revenue share agreements only now with 15 listings and 5 different owners. I have no idea about my KPIs to grow more. I also bought a house to flip and I'm about to get my 2nd one.
The funny thing about this video is that I’m literally a groomer for Petco starting my own grooming company and my girlfriend is starting up a daycare/boarding service for dogs too. Just don’t forget insurance and liability forms! Expensive and very important, since dogs can be unpredictable
Codie, I have 💰in an old 401 k that I want to use to start investing in with a guy who owns several businesses and is always looking at new deals. Trying to talk my wife into letting it happen but we are also Dave Ramsey people. I know we are missing out on so much growth % . What do I do?????
I actually accidentally started a pet sitting business, which just goes to show how easy it is to start. I pet sat for two friends, and now it is a full time gig. Word of mouth only- I have never advertised, and I turn clients away all the time because I never intended to start this business. Now I may need to scale it by getting people to take the gigs I can't. However, as an author I would love to own a niche bookstore.
Excellent content piece, Interesting data on bookstores, a very curated one recently opened on my town’s Main St. Side note, my Fundrise investment hasn’t done so well for me compared to gains of my boring REITs.
Great job Cody. My cousin has a landscaping business He’s had for 35 years, my buddy Martin is a chiropractor. I’ve had my business of support care for about 24 years. It’s had its high and lows …most of the lows come from the government, constantly changing the goalposts. my weakness is marketing, I need to get around that
Mobile food service? Only if you can get it in a good location a AND have business knowledge to run it AND make good food AND don't have too much competition AND can find good employees! We owned a food truck, had great reviews, and barely got by. I've seen a dozen food trucks come and go in my small town. There's only a couple that have been here more than 3 years.

Thank you for this Pointer. It was easy to find your handler, She seems very proficient and flexible. I booked a call session with her.
1000% correct, I had 2 trucks with fantastic contracts , perfect customer reviews and still not worth it.
The concept of Genius Hidden Tricks blew my mind. It’s like finding a cheat code for financial abundance.
Is this a book?
Great book. Peope are really missing out if dont buy it.
5000, 6000 + or more at times.
lol, that really does seem like a joke. A license to sell flowers, that's crazy haha
I sincerely wish you good luck
a young woman was just publicly paralyzed from the waist down by a chiropractor. I would not suggest this business in this video given the context of the craft and how crucial it is that it's done PERFECTLY and not by someone looking for a "fail safe" business. Social responsibility!
When I saw that guy pulling on the patients ( victims?) Head up, I said NOPE, I do not want to accidentally decapitate someone, 😅.
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I pray for you. I’m so sorry this happened to you.
I have heard of other stories like yours- that’s why I would never go to a chiropractor
Agreed 100%. It might be useful for someone wanting to invest in a business, but *nobody* should be starting a health-related business with the business being their top concern! These are people's lives and health we're talking about, here.
Quacks come in all forms...not just chiropractors.
Yeah she glossed over that real quick....
Seems like it would be a better route to build the business and hire a chiropractor to work for it. And or rent out space to practicing chiropractors who don't want to set up their own.
Finding the 'genius hidden tricks' ebook should be your top priority, even if it's the last thing you do in life

How did you achieve this in a short period of time?
I would appreciate some advice please A. I am new to investing in stocks/cryptocurrencies. Can you guide me how to do this?

Florist here over 25 years I also agree that this is inaccurate. I love what I do but it is a highly stressful and demanding job that deals with perishable product. Not that you have to go to school for floral but I did and am very happy to have that horticultural education behind me. It has served me very well. That along with a business degree. People that think they’re going to play with flowers or that this job is easy quickly leave.
So true, this has triggered me on a whole lot of levels. 😅 Sure you can upscale and do giant weddings but if you don’t know what you are doing you're screwed!

A chiropractor reversed my “scoliosis” that was ignored by doctors “well just watch it” is all the doctors could tell me and give meds for pain… and when the condition got bad enough, surgery.

Oohh great question. And would probably depend greatly on what the disability is.
Oh yes!! I was going to ask as well
This is exactly what we want. Solid, detailed advice. Actionable. Great job. Thank you.
What jumped out as me was a bookstore and florist. I also love the ice cream vendor idea, but my I'd prefer to have a hotdog cart.

Unicorn grooming?
I would love to hear this as well. The only business she mentioned in this video I could even consider doing is a bookstore, but I'd definitely have to have hired help to assist with all the physical stuff in the store that I can't do. A work from home business would be ideal for me, but I don't know what that'd be. I've tried KDP publishing and that went nowhere. Started a RUclips channel earlier this year, but I don't even know how to edit a video so all the ones I've posted are not edited. I already work a full time job from home, so finding the time to learn new skills is difficult (especially since I'm exhausted all the time). Is there any not so big but lucrative business you can combine with a 9-5 job? My job doesn't pay badly and I don't want to quit but I need the extra income too.
you need time to run any business, especially when starting out
I was in a similar dilemma two years back.

If a Flouriest sold bouquet's near the school pick up/drop off line, my goodness, they will succeed. Men think by the minute, not by the month.
What about adding a non-liability clause to your dog walking/boarding business. Basically, "we won't sue you."

Hello, I don't know anything about investing and I'm looking to invest, any help? As well who can I reach out to?
Well I must say people are scared because there are so many unprofessional brokers out there.
It's wise to seek professional guidance when building a strong financial portfolio due to it's complexity.
It's great to see others who also benefits from the service of Faith Reece
Honestly didn’t think something like this was even possible but once you read the ebook titled void of power it just changes everything you’ve gotta see what it’s about
Floral is sooo tricky… very perishable delicate product that is difficult to ship and tons of labor.
15:30 My grandpa owned a garden before he died, had about three of those greenhouses each full of flowers and a front shed that he sold them out of, sadly when he passed his employees stole all of his stuff and grandma moved states, my dad never picked up the business even though it was during his "be your own boss" phase of life
Is there a be your boss phase of life ?? I’m into that phase right now.. does it ends well?
As a business developer, most of these will take you a some time to set up with the right help and info
You’ve underestimated the cost of the therapeutic tools for chiropractic, by a lot, but yes, it’s great.

I would love to see a place like that where people could just hang out. Maybe we’d have to sell flowers and plants too, because I want to, and it’s always nice to come home with a book, a baked good, and a coffee.🤗
