- Qatar's Hayya portal has been updated with a special visa category for GCC Residents.
As per the official announcement made on 16th of April 2023, expatriates who hold valid residency permits in any GCC country can now get a 30 days visit visa through the Hayya portal.

They are rejecting my wife’s application for gcc resident visa saying I have to show occupation on her gcc ID. I chose house wife and it is mentioned on her ID but they insist on showing occupation. Please guide
Hi M K, Housewives are required to travel with their husbands (with GCC ID). If your visa has been already approved, you can upload your approved visa to show that the husband has an approved profession. You can contact Hayya Support at info@hayya.qa or or (+974) 4441 2022 to clarify this.

Hi, Sorry for the late reply. The accommodation name is only for your identification (in case you have multiple properties). You can use any name (like My home, Al Sadd home etc.)
Can i take my driver with family as he too has iqama?

Hi my residency card does not have the expiry date displayed on it. I uploaded the residency card with a seperate document having the expiry date but the visa was rejected for not uploading the card properly. If I upload the residency card as is without the expiry being displayed, will my application be rejected?
Hi, if you don't have expiry on your card, you should upload another document that shows residence expiry. You can try uploading residence card and this document side by side, making sure both can be clearly read. If you already did that and it was rejected try uploading the card only.
Regards the insurance, I and family have thr UAE medical insurance. Is that enough or should I take another one. And, should I take insurance before applying visa? Please help. Thanks!
Hi Mohammed, Only very few international insurance companies are accepted for this purpose. To know if your insurance will be accepted, you will have to send an email with your insurance details to: contact@hukoomi.qa
The easier option is to buy an insurance from any company listed on Qatar MOPH website (cost is QR 50 for 30 days). You can buy it after your visa is approved (before travel).

I have applied for GCC resident visa A2 and got my visa approved on 19/06/23 but I have not received the visa through email..when I contacted Hayya support team and they have tried to resend but not received..so they have raised a ticket for me..but no update till today..it's is progress...one more thing when I open my hayya entry details my photo is not showing... kindly help me...I want to visit within 4-5 days..
Hi Rafi, Only Hayya Customer Care can do something. Please follow-up with them. Also please check your spam folder if the entry permit has been delivered.

Hi, It is safer to apply for a GCC Resident Visa (A2) in advance through the Hayya portal. Visa On Arrival is available for some professions only. You can call the Qatar Government helpline at 00974-4406 9999 to check this.

Hi, Your friend's husband can invite you to stay as a guest. They will check the name of the person hosting and the name on the contract. if you have few more weeks to travel it is better to apply in advance, because that will make your entry easier and there will be no chance of rejection at the port of entry.

Hi Krisha, if you are not using host family and friends option, please confirm with Hayya helpline as they have only mentioned Discover Qatar and Family Hosting as options for GCC Resident Visa.

Hi Sameer, Indian nationals can get visa on arrival if you have Discover Qatar booking. If you are travelling after one week, it is better to apply for tourist visa (A1) in advance so that you don't have to worry if you will be allowed entry or not. A1 visa is free for Indians. If you are travelling soon, you can try visa on arrival.

Hi Kasun, There is no vehicle permit now. You will need vehicle insurance which you can buy at the border.
DO i need to upload my accomodation confirmation before complete the application or after the application submission? its not clear in video. However after my first application rejection I edited and resubmitted. But website is not allowing me to enter the accommodation details & its showing that " No application found". Please advise
Hi Kasun, You have to do it before applying for visa. If someone is hosting you then it should be done from their account before you apply for visa. If you are staying in hotel, you have to upload the booking details on your own account and then apply for vosa.

@@faizalat5777 Hi Faizal, For GCC Residents Visa On Arrival, you need a good profession (Engineers, Managers, Doctors etc.). If you are not sure if you will be approved, it is better to apply in advance online (as explained in the video). You don't have to worry if the visa is approved.

Our suggestion is not to complicate things unless your brother is a minor. Apply for his Hayya permit from his own (guest's) account. Hosting should be added from your (Qatar resident's) account. Since you have already applied it may be difficult to apply from another account with same passport number. So make another account for you and do hosting from there.
My profession is not in the list. And I am not available to find Others in the list

Hi Ibrahim, We checked now and are able to see "Others" option for all nationalities (after Optical Technician). Please check if you have selected all options correctly. If you still can't find, please contact Hayya helpline.

My wife Bahrain work permit profession not mentioned any thing I work here Bahrain ministry of interior my job status employee but my wife and both kids not mentioned any thing residency permit what I write job tittle chose other and leave blank option like my work permit ??
If wife is under your sponsorship, you can write the same profession as yours. If her Bahrain ID card has any other profession mention that.

Pakistan passport holder can get free visa on arrival, but accommodation has to be hotel accommodation booked through Discover Qatar website. For Tourist Visa you have to apply in advance. If you have a host in Qatar, they can host you. Or else you need to book a hotel and upload booking details.

Hi Rimon, Reportedly there is an issue with the payment system that rejects payment when there is high traffic. If you are sure that it is not an issue with your bank or browser, you can try later. Others who tried later have been successful.

Hi, If you are entering using Pakistan passport (regular visa on arrival), you will need Discover Qatar hotel booking. If you are staying with family or any other hotel, it is better to apply for GCC Resident Entry (A2) through Hayya. If the traveller is not GCC Resident, he can apply for Tourist Entry (A1).

Hi, She cannot get GCC Resident Visa because she is a visitor in Oman. You have to upload your Oman ID while applying. She will need to apply for Qatar Tourist Visa.

Hi, You can attend interview on visit visa. Once you get a job, your employer will process your work visa. In some cases you will be required to do medical test from your home country.
