This is incredibly on point. Online there is no consequence for operating completely in bad faith, at the expense of others, and in promotion of yourself. Physical consequence is one thing, but a psychopath losing their reputation is also another way to check these people. But when social media promotes these people to the top, even if their reputation is ruined among their close peers and community, they can have quite a toxic following online that loves what they're doing. Which emboldens them. The create rage, and rage creates profit for social media companies who lack the imagination necessary to make money in a more honorable way.

Narcissistic psychopaths will not stay in one place for too long. They have to move before they are called out. The best way to deal with them is to call them out in front of the group that they are trying to psychologically control. One day he found out we still talked and he started sending threats to me via text. He then asks my ex to lure me into their house.
I show up to their house thinking I'm picking up some stuff from just my ex. He was there. He was at least 35lb bigger than me and 4 inches taller. Also I'm a shy, soft guy. My ex probably told him this (probably the only reason that coward wanted to fight a man).
Anyways I show up, he walks up to me with a huge smile on his face and gets in my face. We start fighting. That day he realized that he's a complete coward and had zero balls to fight. I beat him up in front of his woman. He couldn't even land a single punch on my face. Completely closed his eyes and looked away when he got hit. Like a complete coward.
Afterwards him and my ex broke up. I had a talk with my ex and she told me she was surprised how much of a coward he was. She was always terrified of him. She was surprised that a soft guy like me had zero fear of him. I knew he was a snake when he came up to me smiling.
I then started talking a lot of crap to him. Calling him all sort of names. Never got a single reply lol 😂

If you punch them they will cry, learn their lesson and be your friend just like males. This happened with plenty of girls in highschool who thought they could judge me and shame me for being the victim of a violent childhood crime. I simply gave them the choice of apologies or a fisticuffs. Most picked love not war. Some thought they where better than me or I was bluffing. I'm not. I struck those girls and they ran home crying. It's funny, I have a work situation like this.
I have a leading role at work, this guy works for me. He'll constantly try to get under my skin, try to put me down, try to show colleagues that he's in power by devalueing me in front of them. But the moment I let it get to me, and respond in an confronting way, he just softens up. He gets super friendly the day after, sometimes for 2 weeks straight.
It's really relatable when Jordan Peterson talks about this, because this guy I'm talking about truly is a narcissist. Always driving the nicest cars (and bragging about it, even though he'll deny it tooth and nail), traveling to the nicest beaches and islands (also constantly bragging about it) wearing a nice cologne at a job where it's 99% men at work and always feeling better than the rest and talking behind their backs.
It's just funny because the moment someone calls him out on his bullshit and backstabbing, he just "doesn't get along with them", and says he doesn't care about them. Yet not a single day will go by without him talking behind their backs again.
I've come to learn firsthand people like that are a true poison, and you'd do best to avoid having any sort of contact with them. You're better off without them.

I was in prison. When I was there they made fighting a major write up. The effect was that people who wouldn't normally run their necks ran their necks, constantly, with no repercussions.

It's both a good thing and a bad thing that people aren't confronted with violence. The good thing is they aren't murdered in the street but the bad is that society decays from a lack of accountability.
    Shitty conundrum

Crazy how many people talk about this... and still have and use their Twitter accounts... I am an artist in my personal time and made a Twitter. I used it for like a month and went "no... this isn't for me it's too full to toxic people all shouting for some kind of attention."

As well as beautifully articulating the problem with internet communication and social media, Dr JP also proposed a potential way to deal with it: have real, verified people in one comment section with anonymous trolls in another. But I would go further than this and not only restrict it to comments sections. Of course there should be some boundary to maintain privacy from external voyeurs.
In any case, I am absolutely convinced that because narcissism is rewarded these days, there are more and more of them popping up everywhere. What’s worse is that they are even role models for teenagers a lot of the time.

So many people got about his position on this. But every single man knows this instinctively, in every male interaction, there's an underpinning of violence.
Not boiling under the surface, just a knowledge that ensures we treat eachother with respect
