Lost friends due to over drinking

18 months completely without alcohol. Never again! Some weed now and then, but that's it!

25 years heavy drinker.Being around drunk people when your sober makes you realise what You look like to others....not a good look.

My Father never drank a day in his life, he worked two jobs, he loved being a musician all his life, drummer & singer. He said he witnessed alcohol destroying so many people, families and relationships, all destroyed. Buried.

I never trusted it from the start. The people that offer “red pill” advice? It’s advice that is nonsense. Can’t be applied to real life.

Day 5 no booze or drugs...feel like I'm dying but I will get through this..

It’s the feeling rough for the next 3 days, it can also ruin Families, Friends, Jobs, Money, can influence taking other drugs, can lead to poor decision making, loosing everything, brain damage and body and vital organs and we all know this, yet we still do this just to have fun, this world can be so strange sometimes. Been asking the question lately of is it worth it?

Most annoying drug users in the world are alcohol drinkers. For one, they stick up for their drug while no other hard drug user does. How many people use heroin and brag about how high their tolerance is, encourage others to do it at parties, make fun of you if you don't want to do it? Only drinkers do that, the nector of nitwits indeed.

For those of you curious, go to a party sober and see for yourself how dumb we all act when drunk. Simple things like not knowing when to shut up, control your voice volume levels, unable to read the room when you're making people uncomfortable. There's zero benefits to drinking, zero. Awww you have social anxiety? Be an adult, get tf over it and stop being a wussy. Read a book or something, stop making excuses for why you suck 😉👍

I’m not for forcing people what to do but alcohol I draw the line it’s not good in anyway and it ruins lives and the problem is you can’t get through to young people what it will do to their lives it should be illegal, that and meth and everything else should be legal and yes I’ve had absolutely everything

Yeah that shit really is scary. I have a uncle on that i havent seen in years. When i just seen him recently. He could not stay awake or form a proper sentence. He was choking on his own spit, half awoke. And his sister was right there next to him, not saying anything about it.
