The female voice he produces is not a female voice imitated by men, but a true female voice. That's why the female voice he produces surprises everyone.
So he is doing this live on the air of radio station 107.5 no mistakes, one take, no autotune. Oh and he is so relaxed that you can catch him reading his text messages from his friends telling him how he sounds on the radio. They are all texting that he nailed it. Lol.

The best cover of Celine Dion is a man. He is incredible. This guy has a golden female voice. The more you react to him the more you will be in awe. Watch him in AGT The Champions Edition. Please check out his rendition of Never Enough, Perfect & Despacito (his naturall voice) at One Magical Night concert. Also, check him out singing Alone, Listen @Zircoh, What Kind Of Fool I Am, She's Gone. Listen how high he can go. Its mind-blowing. By the way, you still have to pause. I love your analysis. PLEASE keep pausing and teaching. I am here to learn to sing better. To do that I need to learn to HEAR with more discernment. None of the music you choose is my favorite kind of music, but I profit greatly from the lessons you keep bringing. I have never heard any of these singers before but with your guidance I can appreciate what these singers are doing and learn.
As I have branched out into other cultures, I'm learning as well

I'm one of your detractors who normally hates the way you are way overly critical of artists and their singing techniques as if you have won numerous singer of the year awards, but this reaction was very enjoyable and i think you commented and informed the viewers on what was being sung in just the right amount. It should be. A real vocal coach pause and analyze the singer's vocal techniques. Reactors showing their faces' reactions is for fun only. But your techniques is for the viewers to learn and to have fun at the same time. Keep it up!

Although I will be 84 years old on February 8, 2023 and am too old to benefit from you vocal coaching, I still enjoyed your reaction. In my college days, I was a tenor in the Kansas State University Varsity Men's Glee Club (i.e. 60 members that had to audition for membership).
I do have a couple of recommendations for reactions that might interest you. The first is almost anything from Voctave, an eleven member A Cappella ensemble. A particularly good example with solos by the 5 women is the "Disney Princess Medley". Another non-video cover is their rendition of "Blackbird" by Paul McCartney. The second recommendation is "Higher and Higher" by The Edge Effect featuring Tiffany Coburn, one of the Voctave sopranos. One of the five male members of The Edge Effect is Karl Hudson, one of the Voctave basses.
If you happen to listen to "Higher and Higher", pay very close attention to the first chord sung by the men before Tiffany chimes in. It is an unbelievable chord that doesn't sound human but is.
2:48 Lmao :D !!! Those are exactly the kind of faces you tend to see in "usual" reaction videos. Keep on pausing, Matt! We want to learn something. I didn't know this singer before, either. It's really interesting for me how his voice is often between falsetto and a connected sound.

There are videos of Marcelito singing Whitney Houston's best hits, "I Will Always Love You", "I Have Nothing", "One Moment in Time". He also covers Loren Allread's "Never Enough". Additionally, he covers Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean", Sarah Brightman/Peabo Bryson's "Beauty and the Beast", Kenny Loggins "Forever", and Mariah Carey's "Hero" and "Oh Holy Night".
In addition to the covers just mentioned, Marcelito also covers "Listen" by Beyonce, "She's Gone" by Steelheart, "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran, "When I Look At You" by Miley Cyrus and "Endless Love" by Diana Ross/Lionel Richie. He also sings in Chinese when he covers "The Moon Represents My Heart" by Teresa Teng.
Finally, Marcelito sings numerous Filipino songs in his native language, Tagalog.

It's funny when haters put negative comments in your videos Matt, they are probably lying down in a couch, waiting for the next day, probably to go to their 9 to 5 job hahaha. You re a top teacher, a top communicator, vocalist and singer. I'm planning to get your course when i finnish my semester in college. Big fan
People who write negative comments don't necessarily are "haters". Nowadays, it seems that one can't have a different opinion because you're immediately called hater.

You're a vocal coach after all, I like when you explain things. And I like the 2 minute tutorial too. I used pharyngeal singing long before I knew what it was.
Also, about the little imperfections you point out, don't mind the people. You make pertinent observations, so they should prove you wrong, not attack you for it. For example, the flat note at the end was flat, no matter what anyone says. And it's normal to happen now and then. No singer is perfect, no matter how great they are and how much we love them.
It's normal to consider your viewers' wishes, but not to change for them and stop being a vocal coach. No one is forced to watch your videos if they don't like them, they can watch non-singers/coaches. I watch both for different reasons.

The original is not by Celine Dion, but by Jennifer Rush from 1984. Celine just covered it. But what Marcelito delivers is absolute top and he needs no vocal coach.
although i enjoy watching people reacting like normal non-technical people to these performances, i’d say that by watching you (and your ‘infamous’ pauses from time to time...lol!) i’m learning a lot how we non-singers can be able to notice technicalities in a singing performance and still enjoy it and appreciate it at the end.
and i also love how you take the good with the bad comments and swallow it just like that. it’s so cool of you to handle nasty words like you do. way to go, man! ♥️

You & other people use the term “Head Voice” where other vocal coaches in the music business use the term “Counter Tenor”. What if any is the difference? Great video.
