@@kidrobot. That is not how you describe a golden age fella.
One artist making beautiful works is not a golden age.
He is a golden artist but not from a golden age, as he is the only note of fame from then.
Golden age refers to when there is more than one in the industry helping to propel it forward.
One world class boxer in a time of bad boxers is not a golden age.
10 world class boxers in the same era all battling it out is a golden era.
One or 2 world class footballers in an era were there's not many legends is not a golden era.
They maybe worthy of adulation and praise as legends themselves but the era is not golden as it was always one or the other.
20 world class players in the same era playing is a golden era.
      You get the point.
Shakespeare is not from a golden era.
He is or was realistically the only decent writer from that time period.
If he was even real as no hard evidence supports this.
Which is why some modern scholars think he is more than one person.
Also from a global reach point Shakespear is not that relevant in the lives of poor kids from Brazilian ghettos, middle Eastern poverty, Poor African villages and so on.
Like it or not, that's just a sad fact if life.
It's only western culture and Asian Culture were he is still relevant.
We're as Stan Lee, Akira Toriyama, Jack Kirby, creators of Studio Ghibli and many more are all around at the same time. Many legends.
And many legends at the same time is what a GOLDEN ERA is all about fella.
Also more people in the world know of Marvel, and Dragon ball and are influenced by it than what Shakespear has left.
      This is not an opinion.
      It's a fact.
You only have to watch videos and read reports of people all over the world reacting to pictures of Goku, Spiderman, Mickley Mouse etc and then looking puzzled about Shakespear.
Not saying it as a negative as I really like Shakespear stuff, and his influence on English culture is beyond approach.
But globally outside the West and less so in Asia, his influence is very limited.
I worked in the theater and did a degree in media, culture, and communication at University, and we all knew this fact.

I wanted to say rest in peace, Akira Toriyama. There really aren’t any words I can think of to describe the pain this loss has brought to not just me, but millions of people around the world. Toriyama was such an amazingly creative person who really did create something unique and special with Dragon Ball. I can only imagine how he must have felt knowing he created the most popular anime and manga of all time and it’s amazing how he was able to create such a unique story all the way back in 1984 and have it still be so unbelievably popular all these years later. And it’s especially saddening given how this is technically the 40th anniversary of the entire Dragon Ball franchise overall. And it’s incredible how he helped inspire so many other anime and manga creators like Eiichiro Oda with One Piece, Masashi Kishimoto with Naruto, Tite Kubo with Bleach and so, so, so many more. Another tragic part to all this is that we’ve lost so many amazing manga artists these last few years like Kentaro Miura and Kazuki Takahashi and now we’ve lost the most well known of them all. I really do need to thank Toriyama for everything he’s done with creating this franchise and these amazing characters like Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and so many others. I only got into Dragon Ball back in 2017 and I can say I understand why it’s as gigantically popular as it is with so many amazing and iconic moments. It’s also amazing how this franchise seems very simplistic compared to other mangas and yet it’s still hailed as amazing all these years later. It’ll be tragic to watch Dragon Ball Daima this year knowing it’s the last thing he ever worked on. Overall, I just want to say, thank you for everything Akira Toriyama and rest in peace.

1997. My mum bought a Dragon Ball comic (translated into my native language) for my brother and I. It was my very first introduction to Dragon Ball. I started reading more and more, even borrowing from my friends and cousins.
2001. My family and I moved to Leeds, England and stayed there for a year and 6 months. I, along with my brother, went to a school. I managed to learn basic English to communicate, but I am still having a hard time adjusting to the environment. I made a few friends but never quite clicked with them.
That all changed when I found out that they loved watching Dragon Ball. From there, I was able to click with them quite easily. I remember how proud I was to be able to share my knowledge of Dragon Ball since they don't have access to the comic books like I did.
2003. I was a junior in a boarding school. On Saturday morning, me along with other students (juniors and seniors alike) waited in front of our warden's room. When the warden opened the door, he let some of us in so that we could bring out the TV from his room and bring it to the canteen. After setting the TV up and turning it on, we all waited while having breakfast just in time for an episode of Dragon Ball to start airing.
It happened every week like clockwork. Sure, other students were looking forward to other shows and programs, but most of them were very excited for Dragon Ball. In fact, IIRC, a week after the last episode of Dragon Ball Z was aired, no one seemed to be excited to wait in front of the warden’s room to get the TV out at least until Dragon Ball GT started airing.
When I said that Dragon Ball was a part of my life growing up, I was not exaggerating. Sure, I've outgrown it, but I'm still very nostalgic about it. It may not have changed my life in a big way, but it makes me appreciate the good memories I made growing up.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you Akira Toriyama.

It is with great sadness that we gather here today to pay tribute to Akira Toriyama, one of the most influential and beloved manga artists of all time. Akira Toriyama, the legendary mangaka behind the iconic Dragon Ball franchise, passed away recently, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire and entertain generations to come. Born in 1955, Akira Toriyama began his career as a manga artist in the late 1970s. His early work was notable for its humor and creativity, and he quickly gained a following among manga readers. In 1984, he created the series that would make him a household name: Dragon Ball. Dragon Ball tells the story of Goku, a young martial artist who dreams of becoming the strongest fighter in the world. The series follows Goku and his friends as they travel the world, fighting evil and training to become stronger. Dragon Ball was an instant success, and it quickly became one of the most popular manga series in the world. Akira Toriyama's art style is instantly recognizable. His characters are expressive and dynamic, and his fight scenes are some of the most exciting and visually stunning in all of manga. But it is not just his art that makes Akira Toriyama such a beloved figure. It is also his storytelling ability. Akira Toriyama has a gift for creating characters that are relatable and likable, and his stories are full of humor, heart, and adventure. Dragon Ball has had a profound impact on popular culture. The series has been adapted into several anime series, video games, and movies. It has also inspired a generation of manga artists and animators. Akira Toriyama's legacy will continue to live on through his work, and he will be remembered as one of the greatest manga artists of all time. Thank you, Akira Toriyama, for all the joy and laughter you have brought into our lives. You will be deeply missed.

Remembered also our childhood days when we used marbles as Dragon balls. And we used Kamehameha wave to beat our friends pretending as our enemy or we will use pillows as the kinton cloud and rode on it. Plus our father sometimes scolded us for watching cartoons like DB but we sometimes found him to like vegeta because they have the same personality and sometimes laughed with Gokou and vegeta's antics when we watched with him😅😂Truly the works of Sensei Toriyama will be part of our childhood memories😁😁
