Great quilt! Here is a tip, if all seams are pressed to the dark fabric, the seams will all nest perfectly thru the whole block. Then when all four are put together, spin the 4 seams on the back and the middle will lay flat. Eleanor Burns has a great video on how to spin your seams on the back. I love your excitement about the quilt. It turned out great!

It's beautiful! I have that same layer cake and a fat quarter bundle, so it was nice to see how you placed the colors - thanks for sharing!

I've had an AccuQuilt Go for years & you probably know this but at a retreat the lady putting it on brought her Studio size that we could use & she taught me that instead of picking up the acrylic sheet off the top-to slide it off. That way the static will not pick up the pieces with it! Just a little tip :)

OOPS!!! Should have watched a little longer :)

I appreciate the tips so don’t worry about it!
It makes a huge difference when I remember to slide off the top sheet!

The direction of the dye with the machine is as important as the direction of the fabric before cutting the strips. Otherwise, when the quilt block is put together there will be bias pieces.

This turned out amazing! I have made similar stars and it was a nightmare. It seemed so simple with those trimmed edges. You are so fast! All these projects are so great. Thanks for sharing about AccuQuilt Go. :)

      Thank you!
I imagine a lot of the cuts would be much harder to keep accurate without the accuquilt!
