    Thank you ever so much for taking the time to share this video with us, much appreciated. I am at this stage of my course now and have been nervous about it, this has really helped give me a solid idea of how to film it. Thanks again and keep up the great work. Awesome channel.

    Good video and thanks for sharing but for Level 3 I thought people getting assessed using Advanced Training Systems and I didn't see any of that here. Maybe it's changed since this video was uploaded.

    great instructional video, on loose weight would the coach not spot the client incase he gets in a bit of bother or assessing the client by walking around him looking at his body language and his form

    • @CreatePT
      @CreatePT  Год назад +1

      Yeah absolutely, if the movement and difficulty for the client require that you spot them then you should spot. In this video there is no way to spot a bent over row, and the dumbbell shoulder and chest press weren't heavy enough for the client to need a spot. But you may incorporate a squat or bench press into yours, possibly at a higher weight, so in those circumstances yes you should spot.
      And yes you should be walking around checking technique and body language from different angles like Josh does in this video.

    Erm, not a PT fat-shaming someone from TV? "Crazy, quite a large woman. Massive crazy woman." That's poor form. I also see one or two people criticising the PT's shape here. Disappointing.

    Is "steady state cardio" the same as long slow duration?

    • @nivashangounden3917
      @nivashangounden3917 2 года назад

      How long is long duration?

    • @CreatePT
      @CreatePT  2 года назад +1

      Steady state cardio just refers to a consistent pace that you can hold for 20+ minutes. The "steady state" refers to the intensity being fixed, so perhaps holding a particular heart rate zone, or a set pace.

    In the practical assessment is it usual for students to bring their own 'client' to practice their personal training on?

    • @CreatePT
      @CreatePT  2 года назад

      Hi Johnny, yes absolutely. We recommend using the same person as your client for the practical that you write your programme for.

    Can you clear a level 3 practical exam if we follow the same programme?

    • @CreatePT
      @CreatePT  2 года назад +2

      Yes this should get you a pass with flying colours with any provider. Obviously the exercises you use may vary depending on the program you've written but following these guidelines will definitely help.

    The PT doesn’t look like he keeps himself in shape. I personally wouldn’t take advice off someone that doesn’t practice wha they preach. Very strange.

    • @CreatePT
      @CreatePT  Год назад +17

      The body shape of a PT or any professional isn't reflective of their ability or knowledge as a coach. We teach our students to relate to clients from all backgrounds and abilities in a non-judgemental manner, if you're looking to become a coach this is something you should consider.

      What a shit thing to say, firstly looks do not equal knowledge, secondly he is wearing joggers and a hoodie you can’t tell his physique from baggy clothing
